Delicious! This was my first time dining at Tresetti's and I had a great experience! My friend and I made a reservation for 7:00 pm on a Saturday. We were sat immediately in the intimate, candle lit dining room. There are only a few tables in the side dining room which makes the experience feel more exclusive from the bustling bar area. The table spread felt very upscale and chic - with simple white linens and a small tealight candle. At this time, it was surprisingly empty in the dining room. I believe only one or two tables were occupied. It was quiet and very peaceful. The server came quickly to take our drink order. We ordered two Ranch Waters, which came out quickly also. They were quite strong to say the least and very affordable! For our entree, we split the Pan Seared Pistachio Salmon. There is a $5 fee to split the plate which is slightly annoying but understandable. The food was absolutely incredible. The salmon had a lovely crust and was super soft. The couscous and carrots were very flavorful. They were perfectly seasoned and garlicky. Despite being split, the portion was perfect. The salmon filet was quite large and filling. When we made the reservation online, we noted that we were celebrating a birthday. Towards the conclusion of our meal, we were pleasantly surprised with three dessert options, of which my friend selected some sort of chocolate pie or cake. It was also incredible. The crust was crunchy and the chocolate was decadent. It did not feel heavy to eat at all. What really made our night, however, was the card they brought for the birthday girl. They surprised her with a card signed by all the employees which I thought was a super sweet touch. We had a great experience and will definitely be back! read more

We had an early dinner before seeing a show at the Gallo Center. The ambiance was warm and inviting. White table clothes covered the tables and there was a real votive candle. We started off with an old fashioned and a vesper. We both enjoyed our drinks. We each ordered a garden salad. The salad had mixed greens, raspberries and blackberries, croutons and some feta cheese. The creamy herbed dressing was a perfect compliment. I had the chicken cordon bleu and my husband had the filet mignon. He substituted fries for the mashed potatoes. The portions were ample. I ordered an espresso martini to finish my meal. Food was fresh and tasty. Our server, Jessica, was professional and attentive. I would definitely return to this restaurant. To start, we came in a group of about 15, we were in modesto for a funeral so we decidedto try this place. My wife and I have traveled 100s of miles just to eat, if we loved our experience and seeing how pretty this place was we were excited... that's about the best thing that happened. The hostess acted as if she was doing us a favor by allowing us to dine here, our waitress was decent, but I never got another glass of water, the food was ok... Will we come back? Probably not. But it's not because of the food, prices or location... we just felt like we weren't wanted there...would've given 1 star, but the other guests (who weren't like us) were getting great service. Visited on 12/6/25 before the holiday symphony at Gallo Center for the Arts - just an easy one block walk. Parking in the adjacent garage was convenient. The menu offered Cajun-inspired dishes; I had the shrimp gumbo, which was spicy and flavorful, reminiscent of New Orleans. My mother enjoyed the fried calamari appetizer as her entrée - perfectly cooked and delicious. The ambience was upscale and classy, and the staff allowed us to dine at a relaxed pace. What wonderful service and food! We walked in, without an advanced warning, asking for a table for eight, right at the end of the lunch rush. They were able to accommodate us without a hitch! The menu was delightful and able to meet all of our food wishes. We ordered calamari for the table and it was delicious. Our food orders ran the gamut from salads to burgers to sandwiches. The burrata was one of the best I ever had 10/10. Perfect balance of sweet, tangy and savory . The lemon cheesecake was an 7.5/10 very refreshing but the graham cracker crust tasted artificial and refrigerated was hard . I also had a tequila lemon drop it was 10/10 made perfectly. Service was pretty good there was only a moment I had to ask for service but I think it was just confusion because I was on the phone . We visited Tresetti's again last night for an early dinner before Symphony at the Gallo. We were a group of eight and like to choose a convenient location for dinner and parking. Belinda was our server and she is delightful, knowledgeable and efficient. We ordered our wine and other beverages, water and bread was served and we quickly perused the menu. Since we visit fairly often we are familiar with the offerings. I ordered the smaller Caesar salad with anchovies and my husband had the NE clam chowder, both delicious. Four of us ordered the pistachio crusted salmon, a favorite of mine and always perfectly prepared. Two had the lamb shank, one the pork chop and one the seafood pasta. My husband has ordered the seafood pasta before and was happy to see a more generous serving of seafood this time. One of the lamb dishes needed to be sent back to be heated more thoroughly. Besides that issue, we were all pleased with our meals. Service is always punctual and professional, they know we come in early and are on a time frame. That is a necessary component and has never been an issue. Cons: There is rarely, if ever, a special menu offering and the menu hasn't changed in a couple of years. That is truly one reason our group (typically 6-12 people) don't choose Tresetti's more often. It would be lovely to have more seasonal items from which to choose throughout the year. The wine offered "by the glass" could benefit from a few more choices. A good pinot noir such as Meiomi or J Vineyards, would be welcome. Their wine offered "by the bottle" is quite adequate. read more

The flavors and portions were lacking, but come with a hefty price. We started off with the burrata. It came with toasted bread, an assortment of berries, and a balsamic glaze. Sadly, this was the best part of our meal. Tresetti's also charges if you ask for more than 2 plates of bread, so beware. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu. It wasn't bad, but wasn't that good either. It was a teeny portion for $28.50. My friend got the lamb ossobuco. She said the lamb was dry, and there was barely any of it. My other buddy got the grilled pork chop. It was also on the smaller side and "tasted okay". $120 later, we were barely full and from our mediocre and small meal. We won't be returning. read more

There were many things I could nitpick, but overall, it doesn't compare with nearby restaurants such as Dewz and Galletto. Our waitress didn't seem to be able to multitask either, and didn't take our order until we had been sat for about 20 minutes. When we finally placed our order, they had "just" ran out of the Grilled Barramundi. This place is okay if you're willing to sacrifice decent ambiance for mediocre food and drinks, or if you're tired of going to the same places in town.
