Man, I didn't get any pictures because I have a baby and it's rough sometimes trying to eat and not get her to throw everything on the floor. But the food is fantastic. The service is excellent. I was hesitant to go because I didn't want the bar vibe but there's a separate dining table section and patio seating and they even had a highchair. Everyone there is incredibly nice so I don't know what happened with that review that said otherwise we have been twice and same consistent good service. It's very clear that you order at the bar (GIANT SIGN) To Order at the bar they give you a number a server assistant brings the food and buses tables. They have purified water in a 5 gallon container for your convenience, but they gave me cold water with lemon from the bar with our order. What's good there... it's a mish mash of heavy hitters so to speak so everything! Such an amazing Smashburger. Love the shoe string fries. The handmade pan fried dumplings and chili oil are hands-down The best I've ever had and I've had some really good ones in Sunnyvale. I love the shrimp noodle bowl and so did my baby. And the ice cream is really good. I know they don't make it there, but it's really good I think local I've never seen it before. Like I said good service super clean bathrooms. I have a great new category. Places near EV charging stations. Yes, once again, I was charging my rental at the US Bank, a half a block away, and decided to stop in for lunch while the vehicle was topping off. It's a great place. Nothing fancy, but I like the atmosphere. They have a very large beer selection, although I do not partake. They also have a great food selection. Everything from burgers, to Chinese, to Mexican. You order at the bar, they give you a number, and then they bring your food to you at your table. I decided to go with the Chilaquiles's, and I was not disappointed. Everything was great. The beans were amazing, the chips were not greasy or soggy, and they were delicious. The eggs were perfectly over easy, and had a good amount of yolk to them. The crema, the cheese, the salsa, and the avocado, everything just went perfectly well together. It had a little bit of a spice to it, but for me, it wasn't too much. Wow what a gem to have in downtown Motown. Incredible selection of tap brews including sours and curated cans from breweries that are not in distribution. But it gets better, super chill vibe and delicious menu offerings unlike any other place I've been. The Reuben sandwich was incredible and the Pozole was as well. My reviews are usually short. This one will be unusual. Let me start with the food and table service was great! The ladies really enjoyed the smash burgers and chow mien. Many of them were disappointed that there wasn't a salad option. What caused me to take away stars, was the lack of common sense of the man who seemed to be in charge. We were a group of 15 and he expected us to make do with two menus!!! Good grief! He did print us out more once I pointed out how awkward it would be to share so few menus! Again, we were a large group and he told the counter lady to give us all the same number! NOPE! I countermanded that ridiculous notion. We each had separate checks and ordered separately! I've been by this place many times and always meant to stop in, but finally made it today. I was under the impression that it was Asian food, but I guess they call it Asian fusion. (I think it's Mexican and Asian food, but I only saw one Asian dish on the menu. ). There is a bar you can sit at or there are a bunch of tables scattered throughout the restaurant; they also have outdoor seating. You have to go walk over to the counter and order first and you get a number and they will bring it to your table. We went on a Sunday for lunch before our show at the Gallo Theatre. It's very convenient for walking distance. They had about seven items to choose from for food. At first, I didn't think I was going to be able to eat there because I didn't look like anything was gluten-free, and when I asked, she said they had nothing I could eat. But I saw they had a burger, so I figured if I got it with no bun, I would be OK, and I just wouldn't get fries. But one of the cooks came out and said that one of their Mexican dishes was gluten-free. It was potatoes and chorizo with an egg on top. She said that they make their chorizo in house, so I decided to try that. We sat down for about 15 minutes, we already had our drinks, and they brought the food out to us. I really enjoyed my dish! I had a little bit of spice but not too bad. My friend had the burger and fries and enjoyed it. I would definitely come back again. read more

It was great in the beginning, but now it has grown by leaps and bounds and in need of some change. We stopped here yesterday to enjoy some potstickers to tide us over until dinner. They have a menu that is truly international. They have great burgers and French fries and besides potstickers - they have a yakisoba (fried noodles) dish that looked really good too. That's American, Japanese, Chinese right there. The place was full all day with waves of St Patrick's Day celebrants. Additionally you can get gelato (Italian!) there too! And of course, you can get lots of great beers. The potstickers were hot and juicy with a spicy sauce that was made perfectly. The service was perfect! The waitress and owner came by to apologize for the delay (which was not that long, really). I had to tell them it was quite all right a couple of times. They kept our water glasses filled. The music was Mexican, in keeping with the international theme. In the next room there is a deli section where you can purchase international foods to take home including pints of gelato!! Yum! Patrick Chinn is the handsome owner who is half Irish and half Chinese. Surprise bonus! I had a near disaster in that I left my leather coat with my car keys at the table and didn't come back until after the place closed at 5. In desperation, I called the police, wrote the store and email, left a message on their phone - all to no avail. Then my host remembered that he had sold a Saluki Dog to someone that knew the owner! Ba da bing, ba da bang, next thing I know, the owner shows up, and gives me my coat and all important keys. I am going to stop here every time I go to the State Theater! I owe him forever!!!!! Wow! This place so exceeded all expectations!! We stopped in on a whim and being just a little hungry, we ordered the smash burger and let me just say, it was easily one of the best burgers! Burgers are simple enough, right? But so many miss the mark. They're overcooked or too greasy or just ok. But the Smash Burger at Chinn's International is perfect! I don't like onions, but the caramelized onions in this burger made me a believer. The bun was toasted and it was perfectly grilled! Loved it! We had the Bee's Knees cocktail and vodka mule and fries and everything was top notch! I also need to note that the clientele here are exceptionally nice! We love coming here. I live that the menu changes so if you follow them on social media you get to see what they have on the menu for the day. Staff are all very nice. This was my first and last experience at this establishment. I took a friend to lunch and it was embarrassing how rude the staff was. The food was just decent but if you want terrible service go here, from moment I walked in the people were not accommodating at all. No smiles. One woman taking orders at the bar area was just not nice, maybe doesn't like her job. As we left I asked her for boxes and she was so upset over it, she handed them to me with an eye roll and smirk on that face. The food never disappoints. The portions are good for the price and the service is great. You do have to find the IG page to look at the different specials but the food looks exactly like the pictures. When it's busy the line is super long but it moves fast.
