Incredibly cool place! I came from an hour away to play pinball and it's the best place I've ever played pinball. The lighting is perfect! You can actually HEAR the games. The games are in great shape both playing wise and clean wise. And the food is the cherry on top!!! Service was also A plus- the cashier and the cook were friendly and really seemed to enjoy working and having genuine conversations with guests. I'll be making this trip again very soon!!! Fast Eddie's is a great little jewel in Modesto tucked away on Tully road. The burger was perfectly cooked, it was stacked and didn't make a mess as you eat it. Went here for lunch today at noon (my first visit ever) I was wondering why it wasn't busier? Order Philly Cheesesteak and some fries. Took about 20 minutes for them to bring it to the table. (Not Fast) Fries were not fresh and hot! Meat on the cheesesteak wasn't 'chopped up' like the real thing (it was sliced) there was just a slice of cheese laying on the meat in the hoagie roll. The cheese was not 'grilled in' with the chopped meat like a real Philly Cheesesteak! Asked for BBQ sauce for the fries but they only have BBQ sauce mixed with ranch! : ( maybe this place was better back in the day?! Looks like others stay away too? I don't recommend! My husband and I have been coming here for a long time and tonight we were really disappointed. 3 out of 4 of our burgers were made incorrectly and my husbands burger was cold. We had been waiting almost a hour by the time we got fresh burgers. Also the other two tables next to us got their orders wrong as well. Seems like the gentleman running the register doesn't have much customer service experience. He was polite but was very awkward with customers. Maybe it would be a good idea to have a third person working as well so he's not so behind on delivering food/drinks. Not trying to be rude just being real. read more

The waitresses are always friendly, and the staff is very fast and efficient and helping you out although they have removed a lot of of the memorabilia that was in the store. I have been here a few times over past 5 to 6 years and have always ordered the Philly cheesesteak. Well, yesterday, I stopped by and ordered fries and two of the Philly's, one for my son and one for me. I don't know what has changed, but something has. The Philly cheesesteaks here have never been the best I have had, but they have always been a quick fix to satisfy that cheesesteak craving. Not anymore. Like I said, something has changed. The menu says they use ribeye. I beg to differ. I have never had ribeye FULL of gristle, and the meat they used was chock-full of it. The meat also tasted weird and tasted old, as if someone returned a sandwich, and they just reused the meat on my sandwich, or it had just been sitting out for a really long time. It was dry... and just tasted weird. The meat was not thinly cut like it was on visits in the past. I ate half of my sandwich and threw the rest away. Seems they tried to cover the flaws with the sauce. I did not make my displeasure known to my son, and when I asked him how his sandwich was, he said, "It tastes different than the last time." He also asked "if the meat was any good?" He to was only able to get through half of his sandwich. About 1/2 hour later, I had to hit the bathroom, if you know what I mean? I can say that without a shadow of a doubt, I will not be back. We also had a mega order of fries, which were okay. Btw, there is nothing "Fast" about this place. Something has changed, and the quality of the food has gone to you know what. We won't be back. read more

Bring quarters for the pinball machines because you will have to play just to not go crazy while waiting for food! I waited for over an hour for my one burger meal. At least they refilled my soda a couple times in the meantime. The chef must have taken multiple smoke breaks in between burgers because they were coming out slower than I've ever seen at any restaurant or burger spot. Burger was good, not great, like Costco frozen burger good... unfortunately not worth the wait unless you already plan to play pinball for an hour and are not hungry. read more

Really disappointed in the food tonight. Had dinner with our family from out of town and it was their first time there. The fries, tots and zucchini were nice and hot, but the burgers were cold. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen. Just bummed their experience wasn't a good one. read more

I always forget to take pictures of the food itself because I'm so ready to dive into whatever it is I'm having. There is nothing on this menu that doesn't sound delicious. I've tried several different burgers and sandwiches and none have fallen short of fabulous. That goes for their tater tots too! Honestly, I order from here all the time, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I ordered a Western Burger and had my coworkers pick it up for me. When I got my food, my burger was missing both the mayonnaise and BBQ sauce. I called the restaurant to let them know, and while I was on the phone, I could hear the cook speaking in the background. He said, "So what does she want me to do? Get her name and I can get her a refund or whatever." The employee asked for my name, and again I could hear him talking with an attitude in the background. She then asked me, "What do you want us to do?" That really frustrated me, because they could have simply offered to remake the burger and I would have brought it back. I was told a manager would call me back. When I called again and asked who was speaking in the background, I was told his name was Jeremy. I then asked which manager would be calling me back, and she said Jeremy -- the same person making the rude comments. I was on a 15-minute break, paid $26 for a burger and onion rings, and was met with attitude from the manager, who should be ensuring customer satisfaction. I choose to support this small business out of loyalty instead of going to places like Jack in the Box or McDonald's, where I could get a similar meal for half the price. It's really disappointing that the manager himself handled the situation this way. read more

Try eating your own food before expecting others to eat it. Your meat in the Philly was very tough and fatty. Disgusting. If you order the grilled chicken sandwich, don't expect a beautiful white meat chicken sandwich here. It is instead cut up pieces up dark meat with no flavor other than disgusting, and some mushrooms and they'll even include some black char from the grill in there too. Get the meal delivered and the fries will be surely old and cold because they either didn't time it right or just sent you old fries cuz your a to-go customer so you're not going to complain. read more
