All four of the self check outs were not working. Annoying for sure. The counter area was not thought out well. I had to wait for someone to come to the counter since I ordered a diet Dr Pepper but was given a regular. I saw others having to wait because you can't see if there are customers at the front counter. Either keep a cashier at the front or have a bell. Shouldn't have to when you just built this new restaurant. As for the food, it was ok. Side note, this place doesn't have the drinks on the outside. The staff was super rude. No refills! WTF?! They wanted to charge me for one sauce! I could understand if I didn't order anything, and I only wanted sauce or if I asked for a ridiculous amount. ONE, I only wanted one, and the manager wanted 55 cents!! They shut off the options for ordering inside at 9:59 P.M., even though the dining room was open until midnight. So we couldn't choose curbside, table service, or counter. It was drive thru only. I had to tell them about our order that we put through on the mobile app. While I was waiting for help (and it took a while) to tell them about my order, I saw a male employee dropped two packets of sugar on the floor and picked them up and put them in a customer's bag. Seriously?! Can you say health code violation?! They act like they don't know you are waiting at the counter, when they have cameras to see the customers. Plus, I was yelling excuse me several times, and they chose to ignore me. To top it off, it wasn't a problem for the female employee (a manager) to ask how many sauces the male customer wanted, that she was HEAVILY flirting with. HE was not charged extra for sauce. Now...let's get into something I am very particular about...that's the restroom...the stall I was in lacked toilet tissue...now that could have gone 1 or 2 ways?! Drop dry or use the extra tissues I had handy in my purse..I used the tissues in my purse! Thanks Mom for reaching me to keep the necessary essentials on me..side note, til this day I keep enough money to use a pay phone hahah! Lastly, there was no paper towels to dry my hands in the restroom, therefore I had to touch the handle, "hands dirty again" so I had to use my sanitizer because there wasn't any...nor any napkins in the dining area. I have dined at this McDonald's location for many years because it is nearby the car parts store and tool store that I frequent. Today I came here with a friend to grab some late night food. I called ahead of time to make certain the dining room was open. The person who answered the telephone confirmed that the dining room was open until midnight. We got there around 10:45 pm and we sat down inside to order. After we both ordered via the App, the App showed that there was no option for table service, curbside pickup, or counter service, only drive thru. My friend had to go to the counter and wait for an employee to let them know our order was not for drive thru, but was for dine in. We waited quite some time to get our food. My friend got her food first. When I walked up to get a drink refill, I was told by the employee they do not do refills. That made absolutely no sense to me since I had dined at this exact location just days before and got a refill. The manager said that they have not done refills since they re-opened and was snarky when I said I just dined here a few days before and got a refill. She implied I was lying. I knew then this McDonald's was no longer on my list of places to eat at. If you do not want my patronage, I will gladly refrain from dining at your establishment. Good riddance I say. Service here was seriously lacking and the employees were rude to both of us. They clearly did not want to deal with dine in patrons even though the dining room is open until midnight. Customer Service is horrible, not sure what happened in the past few years. But the young kids should have some additional training. They sound rude, have no joy or care for being there. It's been many time where I go and when I'm given my food they do not have the courtesy to say " Have a great day " or anything. They just give you your food and close the window on you. I sometimes stay confused looking into my bags to make sure I got everything. If they hate their job they should find something else that suits them. Maybe find a solution in why these kids are terrible in their customer service. Look into management. Also they do not know how to make the food correctly and food has been cold lately. I hope the franchise looks into this. I know dealing with people is not easy some customers are hard to deal with but this needs to be addressed if you care enough. PS.
