The staff was super rude. No refills! WTF?! They wanted to charge me for one sauce! I could understand if I didn't order anything, and I only wanted sauce or if I asked for a ridiculous amount. ONE, I only wanted one, and the manager wanted 55 cents!! They shut off the options for ordering inside at 9:59 P.M., even though the dining room was open until midnight. So we couldn't choose curbside, table service, or counter. It was drive thru only. I had to tell them about our order that we put through on the mobile app. While I was waiting for help (and it took a while) to tell them about my order, I saw a male employee dropped two packets of sugar on the floor and picked them up and put them in a customer's bag. Seriously?! Can you say health code violation?! They act like they don't know you are waiting at the counter, when they have cameras to see the customers. Plus, I was yelling excuse me several times, and they chose to ignore me. To top it off, it wasn't a problem for the female employee (a manager) to ask how many sauces the male customer wanted, that she was HEAVILY flirting with. HE was not charged extra for sauce. Another employee wheeled out the trash bin, along with several empty boxes set on the floor, and just left it in the dining room, to go do something else for a while, before taking it outside. Seats are el cheapo plywood and very hard with no cushion. Bathroom is locked and you have to stand and wait at an empty cash register for an employee to notice you and grant you permission to potty. So, McDonalds is McDonalds...some locations are great such as London, England and some aren't that great...but one thing you can count on is the FRIES! They will never let you down! I scarfed them down with a pack of salt and my life was better hahaha! So, I was on my way to Sacramento and I needed a snack to hold me over until I reached my location. Now...let's get into something I am very particular about...that's the restroom...the stall I was in lacked toilet tissue...now that could have gone 1 or 2 ways?! Drop dry or use the extra tissues I had handy in my purse..I used the tissues in my purse! Thanks Mom for reaching me to keep the necessary essentials on me..side note, til this day I keep enough money to use a pay phone hahah! Lastly, there was no paper towels to dry my hands in the restroom, therefore I had to touch the handle, "hands dirty again" so I had to use my sanitizer because there wasn't any...nor any napkins in the dining area. So the old McDonald's was tore down and a new one put up. Nice but the seating area seems smaller. A lot smaller. There was only one cashier and a line of about five people. All four of the self check outs were not working. Annoying for sure. The counter area was not thought out well. I had to wait for someone to come to the counter since I ordered a diet Dr Pepper but was given a regular. I saw others having to wait because you can't see if there are customers at the front counter. Either keep a cashier at the front or have a bell. Shouldn't have to when you just built this new restaurant. As for the food, it was ok. Side note, this place doesn't have the drinks on the outside. Idk why people don't enjoy change. The idea of putting up the kiosks to order food was a good change. Makes using the app way more easier to get your deals and coupons. Food comes out a lot more quicker and the staff seems more friendly. Just bad, had to order o. Touch screen dozens of finger prints contamination, tried it go wash my hands but the bathrooms were locked had to stand in line to get access. My food was not delivered to my table as stated when I ordered it sat on the counter for me to pick up so it was cold by the time I figured it out. I contacted the store and the manager responded by telling us that she'll send out vouchers for us and a big long apology. Well that was back in mid July. Nope, haven't received said vouchers. Looks like her song and dance wasn't worth the time or effort to read. They are getting paid way too much and take no responsibility to their customers. I have dined at this McDonald's location for many years because it is nearby the car parts store and tool store that I frequent. Today I came here with a friend to grab some late night food. I called ahead of time to make certain the dining room was open. The person who answered the telephone confirmed that the dining room was open until midnight. We got there around 10:45 pm and we sat down inside to order. After we both ordered via the App, the App showed that there was no option for table service, curbside pickup, or counter service, only drive thru. My friend had to go to the counter and wait for an employee to let them know our order was not for drive thru, but was for dine in. We waited quite some time to get our food. My friend got her food first. When I walked up to get a drink refill, I was told by the employee they do not do refills. That made absolutely no sense to me since I had dined at this exact location just days before and got a refill. The manager said that they have not done refills since they re-opened and was snarky when I said I just dined here a few days before and got a refill. She implied I was lying. I knew then this McDonald's was no longer on my list of places to eat at. If you do not want my patronage, I will gladly refrain from dining at your establishment. Good riddance I say.
