We didn't get what we ordered and even on the receipt we didn't get what they charged us for. Not sure who's food or what's going on tonight. The breakfast menu needs new lights, i couldn't read two entire sections of the menu at all 6am this morning. When I mentioned it to the very polite gentleman who works the drive thru most mornings, he let either the manager, shift lead, or the cook know, and I overheard that woman very rudely said "that's not my problem, come back in the day time so you can see it then" This location is lacking extremely basic maintenance and repairs. The order screen was shattered a few months ago and instead of replacing it, this location "fixed" it by strapping a cardboard sign to it. read more

They are way too expensive but we were out late and didn't want anything fried. Order the Chicken Pecan Apple salad and when we got home and opened the packages. Yuck. The chicken smelled awful. It smelled rotten. We promptly returned them. They didn't have an issue with the refund. read more

Avoid this place like the Covid19. I ordered online and I had to pick up my own food. The idiot driver (Araceli M) must have been making out with his boyfriend cause I called the number about my food and spoke to some guy and then another guy answered the phone who I can only assume Araceli. The he said "my bad, I'll go pick it up right now" while I was in my way to the restaurant to pick up the dinner for my family. I called Popeyes and asked why and "Lupe" (the supposed manager in charge) the airhead that she was, said it wasn't Popeyes fault. I said I paid extra AND a tip for food delivery that I had to pick up myself. SERIOUSLY???. This was my 3rd online order and not once were any of those experiences were positive. Even before the Covid19, it's obvious the staff here is alot worse than 5 McDonalds put together. read more

At 7:45 p.m. we ate dinner at Ceres Wendy's using the mobile app which is tricky because you have to order something to get the cheaper offers, and we didn't need that much food. But we gave in and did get 2 burgers with cheese lettuce a nice tomato slice , dressings, med fries for $11 but had to order more to get that deal.we ordered a large chocolate frosty and pushed the button for the order to begin cooking as we entered the building... like the app said..."always fresh hot blah blah not" We washed up after getting access to the locked up bathroom which was pretty wet and intended. However the cashier/ order taker was super polite, and the place was nicely appointed with leather like seats and a modern look, individually wrapped utensils, and looking pretty orderly especially for how really busy it was. The frosty was almost warm and had a lot of liquid even when we first got it.wr had to pour a lot out.i mean it's not a whole or even ice cream. It's' s a "frozen" I wish..treat. The burgers must be precooked at least partially because the me at was cool, not hot. But you CAN change up the fixings including grated cheddar cheese. We didn't do that...maybe next time. The Wendy's in Modesto on McHenry has been great about serving hot burgers though, and the app offers are a great deal. I ate a free one every day for a month using the app each day for fries or other stuff. You can't beat that value plus it was actually hot every time. This month I've had to pay close attention to the math there though. Anyhow..back to Ceres Wendy's.good parking right by the building. Well stocked bathrooms and take out counter, professional well groomed staff. We will try it again but keeping in mind to politely request hot burger..hot fries..cold frozen treat. Like most businesses where the staff is not working toward a career or to make a good impression on me or the boss, you have to pay attention if you want things done well. So it's 3 stars for now, but you could get better food there if you work at it I think. read more

They never get my orders correct. My son is allergic to dairy so I asked for no cheese and once again they have added cheese. I try calling and the number is to a fax machine. I love Wendy's but it's a shame that this place can not get it together. Every single time I come to this Wendy's my order gets messed up. Everything is always correct on the receipt but for some reason not in the bag or cup. This recent time my husband and I went, we asked for a small order of spicy nuggets but gave us regular.. next we ordered a sprite and orange fanta with our 2 meals and we get a fanta and a coke? Luckily my husband didn't mind taking the coke, until we got home.. because it was flat. So we had to get him another drink. But, the burger and fries were good. I couldn't complain about that but it's always a hit or miss with this place. If someone could just pay more attention to detail that would be great! read more

I really enjoyed this place because it was a nice stop on my commute to work. At first the staff was really friendly. Yet recently whenever I go to the drive through it's like the lady does not want to be there, I always get sass from the same lady whenever I want to add something to my order or when I'm at the window rolls her eyes if I ask for ketchup, I feel mildly threatened whenever she is at the window. Stopped by for lunch and had the southwest avocado salad and a medium drink. The salad was fine. I went to get my drink and there was no ice and I also noticed that most of the sodas were out on the machine. So I kindly mentioned that there was no ice and that many of the sodas were out. I stayed for about half an hour to eat my lunch. No ice was added and sodas were still out. No one seemed to care. read more

My fiancé and I, as well as his daughter came through the drive thru for 1 baconator fries, and two jalapeño bacon cheese fries. We got all the way home and the order was wrong. So we decide to drive back up Have then mmmmm remake the fries and eat it there, however the second time our order came out only the regular baconator fries was hot. So I took my fiancé and my fries back up there and asked for them to be made fresh and explained that are fries were not hot. The manager Gloria, got an attitude with me and told me that, no the fries are fresh they are hot I put them down myself. I said ok, that's fine, but I'm telling my fries are not hot and told her to feel them herself. I stated that they are not hot and I don't want to eat them like that, and stated that I want my fries hot. She got snappy and asked "well do you want a refund?" So I stated yes if you are not going to make my food fresh, she then stated well I told you I did make them fresh. I walked off, then my fiancé walked up, exchanged a few words. Gloria then asked him well do you want me to make them over, if so are you going to be satisfied, I'm the manager and I always make sure my customers are satisfied. She then says but we are not going to keep remaking your food so if I do it are you going to be happy with it. My fiancé replied, yes if it hot! The third time they came out ok, but by that time we were completely over with the whole situation. It was a horrible experience nonetheless, start to finish, she was completely bothered by us from the drive thru, she even made a statement when we came in the first time for them to fix the order, she made a statement saying I heard your order from the drive thru and just brushed us off. Got the new order with cold fries. Gloria states "Im the manager and I dropped the fries myself personally" as this I was lying about the fries being cold. I tell her. Worst Wendy's ever! I waited in a line of 5 cars ahead of me. I waited patiently, but I guess on the inside, the workers we're stressed out with all the orders. As soon as I began order, the woman sounded mean. I ordered two kids meals, and 6piece chicken nuggets. When I received my order, I got medium size sodas, why would I give my kids that much soda! Never fails that every time I dine here I am amazingly disappointed. I work nearby so when all fast food restaurants have long drive through lines I visit the shortest. Today's was Wendy's, unfortunately. The quality of food is bad. The only delicious part of my meal was the fresh fries. But the ketchup packets had brown stains on them. Like dried up coffee or soda. Gross. The pretzel bun bacon cheeseburger was the biggest disappointment. They tried to layer on a fresh slice of cheese to an existing old one, almost as if to cover it up. But I definitely noticed AND tasted it, along with the old (maybe even HOURS old?) and greasy hamburger patty. Veggies were fresh, but could not mask all that old grease from the meat. I have 30 minutes to try and catch a meal before heading back to work, so I can only stop at one place. If you're looking for somewhere to eat with the same time constraints or simply somewhere to eat, Id definitely avoid coming here. read more

I walked in, an employee was standing by the register, never acknowledged me and was texting on his phone. I guess I was bothering him because he moved away a couple of feet and kept texting. Finally put his phone away started doing something else on another register, got back on his phone finally put it away. Another employee came up and asked if that was the customer's order and he said no it's mine. At that time he finally acknowledged me and asked what I wanted. I was just about to walk out but ordered anyway. Trust me I won't be back. If he would have just acknowledged me and not let me stand there for about 10 minutes it would have been ok.
