Decades ago, when my grandparents were alive, they used to order dinner to go from New China Cafe so when I was in town, it was a blessing to stop by and have a nostalgic trip down memory lane. I am not sure if it is the same owners, that was a long time ago... but the food and customer service today are great. I love supporting local, family owned businesses as much as possible.

When we got there, we were seated pretty quickly. The menu is pretty expansive so it definitely feels overwhelming at first with the amount of options. My boyfriend and I figured we can pick a couple appetizers and get separate combination plates which would allow us to try a little bit of everything. For appetizers, we ordered: Steamed bbq pork buns Popcorn chicken For combination plates, we ordered: #H fried shrimp, pork fried rice, and Mongolian beef over noodles #D orange chicken, pork fried rice, and beef and broccoli over noodles The food was decent. I liked the fried shrimp and orange chicken. Boyfriend liked the Mongolian beef and beef and broccoli. We both also liked the popcorn chicken. The steamed bun was pretty generic. Lots of food and more than enough for 2 people. Definitely prefer and recommend this over getting Panda Express. Staff was friendly. The older gentleman with glasses was really nice. Some of the tables needed to be cleaned better. There were flies inside and one of the staff was just hitting them with a swatter as people ate. Food didn't seem very appetizing after seeing that. Overall, it's an okay establishment. I would go here over Panda Express. However, next time, I might order to go but that's pretty much it.

Water and to-go ware is self serve. The option to order directly from your table is pretty convenient. Our first dish, the ramen, arrived in 5-7 minutes. Soon after our noodles, then the beef roll and sesame balls. Every dish was freshly prepared and you could really tell. Served hot, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. Not pictured is the tonkatsu ramen. Their seasoned egg was on point! Plus they give you whole egg sliced in half. No skimping! The broth was so flavorful and balanced. Not too salty either. Their single all gender restroom was well-stocked and clean. Other things I notice was that staff is pretty attentive. If the call button was pushed, they addressed the need immediately. After packing up our leftovers, we paid up front with Apple Pay. Overall, a great selection of my favorite eats. Typically I'd have to hit multiple spots to get this combination of items.
