Went in with some friends and the owner or supervisor just looked at us and walked to the back. Great way to greet customers. A young man came and helped us and he was nice. You order at the counter, and they bring your food (poke) in containers. I ordered a California roll, and it was good. They have packets of wasabi which is never enough! Both of my friends had Poke bowls, and they said that they were good. One had shrimp and the other had salmon, tuna and Hamachi. Bathroom was clean as was the dining area. Came from Modesto to have a late lunch with my friends and we wanted some poke! We were kindly greeted by the staff and they showed us how to order and if we had any questions. I love the order form they give you with tons of customization options for your poke bowl. There is a large seating area and the place was really clean. We each got the regular bowls (which I felt like was a good filling portion). The crunchy cucumber was my favorite part and I love that it's a base option. I got salmon as my protein and it tasted fatty and buttery which is just how I like my salmon sashimi. My friends and I also shared the squid legs which had a really crispy batter so it's perfect if you're someone who likes squid! I don't know if I would say worth it. Food was good lots of options. It feels more like a fast food place almost trying to get you out quickly, yet we're slow with the food. It is nice they have a student, first responder, and 65+ discount. But kind of bummed Nurses are not counted as first responders. Overall Id just say 3/5. read more

I ordered takeout, and the woman who answered the phone was so sweet. She even gave me a few recommendations because I'm always so indecisive, which I really appreciated. The only small thing was that my order didn't come with ginger, so I had to eat it without it. Luckily, I had some at home. Extremely expensive for what we ordered, and the worst part was it was not good at all. It did not taste fresh. The portions were extremely small and they gave you very little ginger and wasabi. The sushi at Costco tastes way better than this place which is heartbreaking because I love sushi and sashimi. I will never go to this place again. It's easier that way and I see all the options. They are have a cool selection of drinks. Where it loses a star to me is pricing though. It's very expensive compared to similar restaurants in the area. There are a ton of people working so the food comes out fast. But there isn't much service. You just grab a table and wait. I liked my bowl, I think the ingredients were fresh and good quantity. Honestly too much to eat in one sitting but not enough for two meals. Visited this place today and the Heat Wave bowl I ordered with salmon, ahi tuna and crab was incredibly fresh! Loved the crunch combined with the other flavors. Big on price, small portions. This little spot has got decent poke and looks to be a local favorite. They are readily expanding to another space beside them and not without good cause. The food was good, flavors were good. However, they lacked a few ingredients in my opinion for the Poké bar. They did not have pineapple, which I thought was kind of interesting seeing as how they had a Hawaiian style bowl. They also did not seem to have tobiko for the Poké bowls, nor did they come with a side of wasabi ginger, or option to add. The biggest disappointment that I had was the portion size. Their portions range from regular, medium, or large with three, four, or five scoops of fish, respectively. I felt that the amount of base, in my case, sushi rice, was pretty skimpy along with the vegetables that went in my bowl. Comparing this to similar establishments, the size was overall just very small in general. What was not small here was the price. I paid just under $23 for a regular size bowl, not a medium or a large, just regular the bowl was pretty shallow and not very full. A regular size bowl at a comparable establishment would have some weight to it, this did not. Based on the flavors I would return, but not really until either the price has gone down or the balls are made a little more hardy. I don't want to be scraping the last grain of rice out of my bowl and contemplating whether I should order a suit me to go though already spending 23 bucks on the bowl that didn't quite do it. read more
