Absolutely the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I was there at 1:00 AM on 4/25/25, and the employees were extremely rude--no greeting, no "thank you," nothing. Out of all the fast food restaurants around, Carl's has to be the most expensive for both its meals and ala carte items. They don't have a value menu like some of their competitors but do offer meal boxes that provide plenty of food for less than $7. Although their prices are higher; their quality goes far beyond what others produce. Where some restaurants have very similar tasting menu items with slight variations, this establishment offers many items that are unique from each other. Their burgers and chicken sandwiches are all very tasty and are definitely worth trying, especially when they have special releases and collaborations. You can't go wrong no matter what you choose, but I personally think that the famous star is an excellent choice for classic burger but when they are available I'd suggest trying the pastrami burger and some Froot Loops mini donuts for dessert. read more

I love burger joints, and Carl's Jr is my favorite national chain. I have been to about 40 different CJ's and this one is just like the rest. I have to say I usually don't like the service I get at most fast food places. They are usually people that hate their job. This place apparently is different. I walk in and the guy behind the coin need looks up and says hi and welcome to Carl's Jr which caught me off guard to tell the truth. When I order I changed it up and ordered crosscut fries which he calls back. Apparently he people in the back didn't hear him. So I thought I would try a Big Carl burger today without cheese of course (I don't do fake plastic cheese ever !). I might have said it was ok, nothing special at all, if the bun was not stale & dry. I was really hoping the sauce they show in the ads on the burger would be close to the sauce McDonald puts on the Big Mac, but no. There is no flavor to this burger. This was my first experience at a Green Burrito. Having recently eaten a burger, I really didn't want another one. So when we stopped here on our way home from SF, I thought I was going to end up having some sort of chicken sandwich. Then I eyed their Green Burrito menu and saw that they had fish tacos! They were made from lightly-battered fish fillets, corn tortillas (heated, not fried), cabbage, salsa and a thousand island-like sauce. On the side were some refried beans and rice. The food is great, but they mess up orders and offer no compensation for having to wait for them to fix it. They gave my kid 4 chicken stars instead of 6 and instead of apologizing for taking down my order wrong, she insisted I pay more and wait longer. Every single time we come here we order the small combo and they make it a medium to upcharge us. This time I corrected the girl at the window and she gave me attitude in return. I know I said small a few times and she kept saying medium back to me. I get up to the window to pay and she still wanted to charge me for a medium. Also the menu prices don't actually reflect what they want to charge. The food isn't even that great here anymore. The soda syrup is all off on the machines it doesn't taste great. Funny, came through here on the way back from Yosemite. Gotta say Green Burrito wasn't bad. Would actually say it's way better than Taco Bell. I had a couple of tacos and my hubby had a wet burrito. Pretty nice. Just stopped by after eating out at Thai. We got a Vanilla Milkshake and a Strawberry Milkshake. Both were very good. Personally my favorite is Vanilla, my dad likes the strawberry. Shame on Carl's for gross misrepresentation of their promotional items:charbroiled sliders. Arrived little after 11:00 a.m., no drive through traffic, only customers were seated and eating their food. Mumbles took my order for 2 single sliders and gave me a laminated number to sit?? Um, can't I just stand here and wait for them to be cooked? Granted the promo items are a buck and a quarter but still when I was given my bag of food 20 minutes later, I knew something was wrong. The bag weighed like cotton. Sliders looked so sick and sad. Thin dead meat, cold slab of baby cheese, a lonely pickle on dry bread: no dressing like mayo, ketchup, anything. What a joke. The flyers stuffed in my mailbox showed them thick, juicy, dripping fat on the sides, big pickle. Pretty pathetic. Seriously: I went out in 100 degree weather and put a bra on for this.
