Stopped for lunch thinking this place was like frosty king, definitely not! Fried green beans were way over cooked I couldn't even bite into the green bean, straight into the trash. People commented that the burgers were great, but to me nothing special. The burgers are advertised as fresh but they are not, they are frozen. I've read a lot of the low rated comments on here and am SO surprised no one has mentioned the sanitation and looks of the inside of this place. Has anyone went in and looked up at the roof? It is SHOCKINGLY bad, literally falling apart and missing pieces. Also the handle to the door was sticky.. even from the outside. As soon as I walked it the smell was foul too, like old oil. The food here is usually always good but something was very off this last time, like the dressing they put on the burger has expired or something, the taste was off and had an unusual smell. The two that work there are nice but the man put our straws in our drinks for us with his bare hands which was kind of gross. I would hate to see this place go out of business but how are they not getting shut down from a health inspection? There's no way this place would pass. read more

As of today I will never come again!! I have been coming here for years. The to go boxes use to be the bigger ones. I always order the same thing and never had a problem. The owners behind the counter husband and wife have always been loving and kind. But I don't if this COVID19 change them. They decided to go smaller on the plates which I don't care. But what I do care and was upset about & called to give my opinion. I called and spoke to the wife first and informed her I had paid $3 for each plate to have extra chicken and that all 3 plates didn't have the extra chicken and it wasn't right for them to be charging $3 and not be giving the extra. She went on telling me it does. I couldn't really understand her so I asked her if I could speak to her husband since his English is a little more understanding. He was upset and informed me they measure the quantity and he had added the extra amount. I explained to him who I was so he could remember that I always go and I'm not no new customer. He started yelling at me saying to measure the food and not to assume it didn't have the extra chicken!! Smh I then stated I wasn't asking for a refund or anything I was just informing him it wasn't right to charge $3 more and not add the extra. I said I'm not Complaining about paying I'm complaint about the amount especially since before you guys have more. He yelled again and said measure it!! I said ok I'll measure my food but how much of chicken and how much of rice and veggie?? He then said I will not tell you. I said ok so how am I suppose to know the amount he said you can tell me and then I'll tell you if it's correct or not. I then told him look your obviously not caring what I'm telling you and I didn't call for a refund I called because I don't think it's right to charge extra and not give the charge to your loyal Customer!! He then says you won't be the last customer I lose. I'm like ok have a nice day!! Horrible seriously don't spend your money here. Seriously chicken Teriyaki by am/pm is more reasonable on money and they actually give more when you pay for it! I am disgusted with the owners behavior. The place was more like a high school snack bar. Staff was super friendly, 5/5 there. We ordered patty melt, ramen, and pot stickers. Patty melt had a thin store- bought patty which was heated in microwave in order to melt cheese and thaw out meat (witnessed myself). Dumplings were crispy, how I like, but expensive. .90 cents PER SINGLE POT STICKER. Cheaper to buy frozen bag at Walmart. Ramen was literally a cup of instant noodles. They heated water and poured it in for us. At least they added one egg so it wasn't a total rip off *sarcasm*. It was my first and last time there. A diamond in rough! Not much to look at but the food is delicious and the staff is super friendly! She's never been very pleasant to deal with but over my last few experiences I feel she is beyond rude! The husband is such a nice man and food is good so I have tried several times to interact with the wife hoping it would be a better experience but after this last experience I will not be back. This place was a Foster Freeze until sometime in the 80's, I still remember the old man working the grill back then. I've ate at this place many times over the years when I'm in the area and looking for a quick meal. The good: Hamburgers/cheese burgers and fries are great. I very much prefer them to a big burger chain's burger and fries. The bad: The place could use a good through cleaning. Had I never tasted their burgers, I might skip eating here just because of the appearance of a lack of regular cleaning. They have bathrooms accessed by walking outside the dining area and to the side of the building, however they now have a sign posted stating "no public restrooms" in the dining area. If they would clean the place up, I would rate higher. All in all its like a guilty pleasure for me, and I will be back. What can I say, I do like their burgers. read more

Ranch Burger is a westside Turlock staple, a place where you just need to get your grub on. I need to mention that they're deep fried mushrooms are a MUST. It's pretty awesome that you can also get Korean food here because the owners are Korean so the Kimchi is on point. read more

This place doesn't look like much, but they have the BEST teriyaki chicken bowls. The chicken is marinated, sauteed with fresh vegetables and served over white rice. Extreemely flavorful and delicious! And the sauce is sooo good! A definite favorite. read more

I'd put Ranch Burger's cheesburgers on the same level as In N Out's actually-because they are just as juicy and fresh. The fries are always served hot and crispy. Their menu is very diverse. fried shrimp, Philly Cheesteak, Corn dogs, and the TERIYAKI CHICKEN BOWLS are the BEST! you must try one, and ask for extra teriyaki sauce in a little cup (trust me it's good).
