I come here a lot with my family I love the ice cream their salted caramel is the best I always get a double scoop on a waffle cone. My mom also some here alone at times and they have Spanish speaking employees which is very helpful and even if there isn't anyone who speaks Spanish they try their best to accommodate. Tables always have leftover crumb and a sticky residue, which tells me they aren't being cleaned down properly. Ice cream Flavors: pretty standard. Nothing amazing. The names lead to you to believe the flavors will be good, but it's just decent. We like coming for the Sunday specials, where you can spin the wheel for a discount on a sundae. Walked into an empty parlor where two teenagers were talking behind the counter. In the meantime the dining room was an absolute disaster- food and garbage everywhere. The food wasn't good- fries and a burger and we had to get it ourselves and clean up after ourselves. We all regretted tipping at time of payment. Took my girls here after cheerleading and gymnastics. We ordered the patty melt, onion rings, kids grilled cheese, a smores sundae and two kids waffle cones. The patty melt was much smaller than expected for $12, but the flavor was decent. Nothing comes with sides for that price and you have to order them separately. The onion rings were your run of the mill onion rings. The but was not worth the $10. One someone normal slice of tomato on one half and a super tiny slice on the other. The bacon was hard and small and looked like precooked microwavable bacon. Wouldn't have ordered if I know that. The kids grilled cheese was just a slice of american cheese on white bread thar was hardly melted. My husband chose the smores sundae because he was craving hot fudge, but it looked like maybe a small squirt of chocolate sauce instead and he actually had to add hot fudge himself at home. The Lulu's that I know and love is back! It had been a minute since we had last dined at Lulu's due to the fact that they no longer offered the veggie burger I loved. I was so sad because I love Lulu's fries and milkshakes too. Fast forward a year or so and I had a craving for a Lulu's milkshake, mint chip if you please. We were also hungry for dinner so I quickly checked the online menu to see if there was an entree I would like. To my pleasant surprise my beloved veggie burger had returned! The location is Lulu's best attribute. The service is decent. The facility isn't the cleanest and the smell inside isn't very pleasant. I would consider myself a bit of an ice cream connoisseur, and this ice cream is bottom shelf (think dreyer's or thrifty). The price however is top shelf. Horrible service! My dad went in here and ordered the Cowboy burger last week and it was missing some of the main ingredients that made it a special burger like onion rings and BBQ sauce. He asked the cashier who made the burger if she had made a mistake and she said "oh ya I did, I forgot" he told her it was a good thing that he caught it or it would've been just his bad luck and she proceeded to just say "ya I forgot". She said she can remake it but he just asked if he could get some sort of discount for his next order and she told him she couldn't do that. Wow, they don't play! Came here and ordered a milkshake and it was ginormous! The ice cream they put in the milkshake was rich and chocolatey, and I'm pretty sure that the straw could have stood straight up in the milkshake. The woman behind the counter was polite. We wanted to add some Reece's Pieces to the milkshake and she asked us whether we wanted it blended into the shake or add in after. We weren't quite sure, but ended up asking for it to be added in after -- she agreed that she thought that was the better options, but wanted to ask us just in case we had a strong preference either way. The one thing is that it seemed a bit short staffed, so even after people left, the tables hadn't been cleaned up, even though there were plenty of empty tables. This place is just alright to me. The set up is awkward. You order your ice cream away for where you can show the teeny boppers what you want. Having never been here before, I was over looked and cut in front of by somebody else. Having gotten over the counter incident, I was eating my average tasting ice cream while I observed someone come out from their back kitchen, hang her head into the ice cream window (hair hanging down), took a spoon and spooned herself a nice large scoop which she proceeded to put into her mouth and eat right behind the counter. I don't intend in returning. They have a number of tables and booths. It's bright and antiseptic-looking. We were greeted quickly as we entered. As we came to look at photos and video, the other two grabbed a booth quickly. I thought that this was odd since I wanted something cold to eat. After asking, they were still full from lunch--I didn't eat many of my fries. I got the computer working on the photos and got a rainbow sherbet of some sort. Having orange, blue, and red together looks odd, but I chose it anyway. Some of the descriptions/names were missing from the case. One scoop in a cup was $2.00. It looked big as he was scooping, but it didn't seem so big when he handed it to me. It was probably close to what Baskin-Robbins does. The taste was good and worth the money, and the staff was always friendly. The restroom was fairly clean. read more

My hamburger was ok but my seasoned fries were not seasoned. All they had was salt, which isn't considered seasoned. Seasoned salt is considered seasoned. The chocolate fudge sundae was great. But anyone can make that. What I was shocked about was how one of the workers went to join one of the tables and laid there with her pants almost coming off (because of her pose) acting like she owned the place as she sarcastically went back and forth with her conversations with one of the girls from the table. They obviously were friends and obnoxious ones too. This is a joint for young people but it doesn't mean that the service (or young customers) should act unprofessional or be equally obnoxious. This is why it's not good to mix friends with pleasure. Or, have young workers working in an environment where it's geared towards young clients, unless they've been taught about ethics and morals. This place used to be such a happy experience. The feeling I get is the owner went all out at first and since then has either become complacent or has had to make cuts to stay open. The first hit this place took was when they stopped carrying pies. They were delicious. Since then they have just become what could be described as having a unclean feeling. I fee like cleanliness is a effort issue and just gives a bad vibe when you can't just keep the place spotless. Also, the customer service you get is always awkward. I get that it's probably high school kids that are working there, but still that's not a excuse because this place isn't super cheap. It's not that they are unfriendly it just seems like they are unsure why your there.
