1.the price for a cheeseburger was wrong in all the apps I looked. I finally got the right phone # after trying 2 #'s that were wrong. 2. The cook charged me $9.99 for a cheeseburger. After paying I realized that he had overcharged me I brought it to his attention showed his the prices I had googled he said they were wrong . Then I showed him the price on the menu right above the window and he said "oh shit I overcharged you" well no shit genius. 3. Philly cheesesteak sandwiches are pretty bad. Pretty certain they use left over chunks of chuck or some other tough meat. The meat was very chewy then dry so it's hard to swallow it. Then they put so much cheese on it and so little meat you can't even taste the meat you just know you're gonna choke on something chewy. I do not recommend this sandwich at all. after attempting three bites I just threw a whole sandwich in the garbage. didn't even bother to take a picture. read more

Stopped in for dinner tonight with the family. This place is pizza, Mexican, burgers, and a gas station all in one place. We ordered something from each menu - a cheese pizza, veggie burrito, and the western bacon cheeseburger combo. The cheese pizza was decent. The sauce was a bit sweeter than I like, but still tasty. They were very generous with the cheese. The best thing was the price - $7.99 for a large 16"! This would have been more than enough food for the whole family, but we were curious to try other stuff on the menu. Overall, the pizza was a huge hit with my 6 year old, and for this deal we'd definitely have it again. The veggie burrito. I was weary at first because the man at the counter asked me what I wanted in it, adding that he had never made it before. I think the usual person was out. He gave me the list of veggies that they had and let me pick what I wanted. I asked for everything except olives (that just seemed weird), so it came with onion, mushroom, bell peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, rice, beans, and a choice of green or red sauce. For someone who had never made it before it was pretty good. The only thing that could have made it better was guacamole - I expected it to come with guac, maybe it does with the usual chef.. I'll have to give it another try. Unfortunately, I was over charged for the burrito. It's advertised on the menu for $3.99, the order form the guy filled out at the counter said $4.49, and ultimately the guy (different guy) at the register charged me $4.99. I didn't notice until later, and everyone had been so nice that I didn't want to complain. Finally, the western bacon cheeseburger. It was the priciest at $8.49 for a combo - still a good deal... I can't give it a proper review because I'm a vegetarian, but second hand review via my husband "it was delicious! As good as any mom and pop place I'v ever been to." The burger was a good sized patty made to order, and came with thick cut bacon, onion rings, and cheese. The burger was served with a huge side of fries that were enough to share with the family. When I first walked in a lady was just standing there with a paper and pen and didn't say anything. I had to ask her if she was trying to take my order? She responded with " ya what do you do want" so I ordered my food and the wait was a bit longer but worth the wait! My food was amazing the fries were so good and the mozzarella sticks were perfect! I was going to be stuck at the Days Inn next to this place for a few weeks -- I'd just moved to town from out of state and was still looking for a place to live. Since it was next door, I wandered in here the first night just to give it a shot. I never went anywhere else for dinner my entire stay. First of all, yes, the burgers are big. They're also delicious! One of the best burgers I've had just about anywhere. Absolutely love their fries as well -- they the decently "fat" fries that just beg for ketchup and you get a lot of them. You can also get Asada or Pollo "Loaded" Fries with cheese sauce, cilantro, onions, sour cream, red or green sauce, maybe something else. I don't know if there's anything else in it, I just know it's good! You get the order, you look at that mound of food and you think, "No way I'm going to be able to finish all of that" ... but you do anyway, it's that good. I also kept switching between the beef and chicken versions of their burritos, quesadillas and tacos. The burritos are a solid choice. The quesadillas just show off how good the meats and cheeses they use are, and the portions are huge for the price. I was really fond of the tacos. Not at all what I was used to coming from the "north coast" back in Michigan. "Bite-sized" when compared with how big everything else is here, $1.49 each, but at that price you can mix up whether you want the beef or chicken, red sauce or green sauce -- and they really were my favorite because you could mix and match, you could order two or three or four, and they would all be fabulous. I had the pastrami as well. I spent 20 years in NYC so I've always found it hard to bet a proper pastrami sandwich anywhere else. All the same, the one they have here is a very good sandwich and the pastrami wasn't too fatty or too stringy as I usually encounter outside of NYC. I wish I would have tried the beef tri tip and philly cheesesteak sandwiches but I just loved the other stuff so much I got stuck in a bit of a rut. Same goes for the pizza from the Main Street Pizza side -- the slices they had out to purchase looked absolutely delicious. This isn't fast food, mind you. You can read the other reviews being surprised at getting something this good out of a gas station (actually, some of the best food I've found -- including the absolute best pizza -- came out of gas station restaurants) but you might also expect something a bit slap-dash. Not here. They have good ingredients and they treat them right. They cook up your orders fresh. They make sure your food is prepared properly. You know, like a good regular restaurant. Imagine that! ;) I got to know a few of the night chefs there. Nancy was great. I had a number of fun conversations with Ali, who cooks up some wonderful food, who you can trust for suggestions, and who is creating this delicious spicy ranch sauce for the burritos -- he recommends it for the pollo burritos. The people at the gas station itself are friendly, too. Given all I had on me at the time, all the stress of moving 3000 miles with a new job, no place to stay yet and my dog stuck in a hotel room for a few weeks, finding a comfortable, no stress place to eat was such a relief. This is the greatest little gas station I ever been too. We had to have a extended stay at the hotel close to there and they took care of all of food and snack needs. Language Barrier I ordered a Bacon Burger with a fried egg on the side and I had to spend 2 minutes explaining what a fried egg is. Then, when they cooked the egg, they scrambled it.
