Family had our annual post- Christmas Parade dinner again. As always, the food was awesome. Snowshoe Apricot beer on tap is the best. Took a tour of their new 9 hole putting green and upgraded outdoor area. It all looks great! We'll be back to try it out when the weather warms up a bit. read more

I was in Turlock, and looked for a restaurant nearby for breakfast, and drove to this cafe and I'm glad I did. Multiple omelets to choose from, I chose the veggie with country potatoes. The eggs and ample veggies were well seasoned as were the potatoes. I split the meal in two and put half in a carton to enjoy later. The service was attentive, keeping my coffee filled. Might be the strangest restaurant I've ever been to. We stopped in on New Year's Day. It looked deserted, but I had called ahead to confirm they were open. The ambiance was interesting, sort of kitschy. I didn't mind that. The server was darling. She was pretty new to the job and was still trying to find her way. But she was trying. My husband and our friend enjoyed their choices: a giant, GIANT burrito and a Denver omelet. My chicken, however, was a different story. It wasn't delicious; it tasted like it wasn't fresh and then had been over-heated. I couldn't eat it. The veggies were good and the potatoes were great. So, a mixed bag. I think I'd try again and order something different. Everybody deserves a second chance. read more

This was our first time here. Wife and I came for breakfast. They have some neat options with eggs Benedict and other meats you can get. My wife got the one with tritip and it was really good! I had the linguica and eggs with country potatoes. She forgot my toast, but it was ok because the portions were nicely sized and I was stuffed. We tried the half order of biscuits and gravy, too. Very good! The downside was the service. Very friendly waitress, but also quite slow. The food took a very long time to come out and we were the only ones in there when we ordered. Okay, i have been going here a little over 10 years now, on and off. I've gone there for breakfast, I've gone there for burger contests, i have seen bands there and I tend to go to the bar every once in a while. But today was just too much. So the last time i went i asked for three beers from their tap before they finally had one that they weren't out of. Like bro cmon if you don't have it then remove the tap. Anyways this time that i went the parking lot was dead, there was only one car so naturally i thought it was closed but my girlfriend and i got a view and saw that the door was open, so we went in. The place was dead, only one couple there beside us. We had no idea where to sit because there was left over shot glasses and beer mugs all along the bar top. We ended up sitting at the bar at the one clear spot. I felt rude walking in and not ordering atleast a beer so that's what we did. We hung out there for like 20 minutes. Like i said the place was dead but at no point during my time there did the bartender attempt to clean any of the bar. To be honest i should've walked out but i felt bad. But realistically why should i care when it's clear that they don't. We were talking about it on our way home and we're not sure if these ppl just gave up and satisfied with just scraping by or if it has just turned into a money laundering place...... cus at this point how can you explain how it's still open. I ordered a Ham and Cheese Omelette with Country Potatoes and a biscuit with gravy. The biscuit with gravy passed my breakfast test. I only gave 3 stars because the glassware was unclean. The restaurant seems to be falling apart. I did not get good service being one out of two patrons at the restaurant. The server devoted her full attention to the other patron seated at the counter. Found a hidden gem along the 99! The food was positively scrumptious!! The portions were quite large and the prices were fair. The service was friendly and efficient. The ambiance is a little eclectic, as it has a rustic western log cabin meets tropical oasis vibe, but I found this charming. Found this spot through yelp and those reviews were spot on! We almost left when we parked because it looked deserted and "shady", not in a good way. Deceiving because it's just that they have this huge two sided patio in front of the entrance. The set up inside is a little odd, no defined check in area and a big bar in front of you to the right and lots and lots of tables to the left and right. The waitress greeted us right away though and let us sit wherever we wanted. We ordered bacon cheeseburger with seasoned fries, biscuits and gravy breakfast which came with sausage and country fries. My daughter ordered mozzarella sticks because she wasn't that hungry. I didn't take a pic of her mozzarella sticks because they looked basic. But oh, no, they were not basic. They were, in fact, the best mozzarella sticks we've had! We really considered ordering another plate them but thought that was doing too much hahaaa Teule's burger was really good. The bacon was in pieces as opposed to strips and between the patty and melted cheese - genius! Every bacon burger should be made like this. It had bbq sauce on one side of the bun which was just right amount. The seasoned fries were crisp and good. I adore biscuits and gravy and will order them whenever they're on a menu. I was disappointed in these because the gravy needed salt and I don't care for this style of biscuit. Oh well. My scrambled eggs were cooked well and the sausage links were good. I loved that they accommodates my request for extra crispy potatoes (which had peppers and onions) but they needed salt :(. Usually I would just cover them in gravy but the gravy needed salt, bummer. My coffee came with real cream which I loved. The waitress was attentive, really nice and laughed at Teule's corny jokes. Prices were really good too - $11 for the entrees and $7 for the best mozzarella sticks ever. We all agreed the 1.5 hour drive to come back for them is totally with it ha! read more

We visited on a cold December Wednesday evening while traveling through. They were not busy but super attentive and the food was fantastic! I got a garden burger which was the tastiest one I've ever had! My husband got the chicken dinner which was on the smallish side but he was satisfied. This restaurant has a huge shaded outdoor dining area, multiple TV's for the sports and political fanatics. The staff seems to be complying with the current safety standards and distancing. Parking is ample. The staff is very kind and attentive. I ate at the barsode, ordered a few drinks along with the BBQ Cheddar Burger medium well and fries. The flavor of the meat was very good, bun was a bun, but the fries were fresh and crispy which is always an important side. The drinks were on point. They pour exact and dont skimp. The sports bar is a blink-and-you'll-miss-it place but man you'll regret passing it up. Visited last night on the recommendation of a friend for the first time. Think Staley's but with more than twice the floor space. The music is ambient but not too loud, and there's plenty of room for parties or just drinks with friends. Frank the bartender should take pride in his excellent customer service, as well as being just a general outstanding character. He gave us a recommendation for tequila for shots that did not disappoint and hovered around the three of us, ready to mix a new drink or just chat it up. He's a real stand-up guy.
