The owner of this location is rude and disrespectful toward his employees. Jack the owner of this location ask an employee why she had "RBF" (resting b**** face), and multiple employees have reported hearing Jack, the owner, call staff foul and inappropriate names. There have been several complaints made against him, and it's unfortunate that young employees are being treated this way. His behavior shows a clear lack of respect and professionalism, and it's honestly surprising it hasn't resulted in legal action yet. I recently had the peach tea with tapioca. It was good. HOWEVER, the service was not. I went around 8:20 pm (place closes at 9) with 13 other people. All of the tables and chairs were picked up already and there was no where to sit. The two employees said that we wouldn't be able to get the chairs out to sit down. That was the problem. How are you going to say that a place closes at 9, but pick up more than thirty minutes before? We stayed there for about 20 minutes, standing around. So I'd rate this place 3/5 for service. This review is for their popcorn chicken, not their drinks. We ordered the popcorn chicken and it was pretty good, but it was a bit too spicy for my taste. I didn't know it was going to be spicy since they didn't ask us for the spiciness level. The popcorn chicken comes with a sweet and sour sauce as well. Quickly is one of my two favorite boba places in the area. I live in Manteca and will frequently travel to Turlock just for boba. In addition to boba, they even have food on their menu. Their boba menu is very large and has many different options for any type of drinker. They have teas, frosts, slushes, etc! If you are not a tea person, then I would suggest going with a snow. Driving from Manteca to get mochi waffles from Quickly in Turlock used to be worth it, not anymore. So...on Fathers Day we decide to make the drive...we park right in front of the door to the spot. We order 2 drinks, we pay with our credit card over the phone. We watch several people show up, get their orders...we wait, because we think maybe they ordered on the way, then people walk in and a few minutes later they get their orders. 20 minutes pass and still waiting. We go in and ask what happened and they "lost" our order. They go on to tell us for next time, WE should call to check after 15 minutes. Sorry pal, no more next time. Get your act together when people pay over the phone. They made no attempts to make it right. The owners should teach those kids better customer service. Very clean and the AC works!!! We went to the Bobalicious in Ceres a couple of days ago and they don't turn on the AC. It was hotter inside than out and it was 107 that day. My wife and I walked in and then walked out. Anyway, this place is very clean and nice inside. We enjoyed sitting on the futon. Our drinks came out fast and our waffle came out soon after. I went into Quickly today with virtually no idea what to order. My sister loves their Thai Iced Tea with Boba and asked me to pick one up for her and something for our other sister, so of course I had to get one myself. Megan, the girl behind the counter, was SO helpful. I needed one Vegan friendly drink for one of my sisters and told her either Cherry or Blueberry but no idea what else. She said she had just the thing and whipped up a delicious vegan drink no problem. Me being me and not knowing what to order for MYSELF, I gave her little to no direction. Just that I liked Thai Tea and boba but I didn't want the Thai iced tea. She made me a drink and I can't even explain how delicious it was. It was fruity and sweet, but not TOO sweet, with a very refreshing, almost floral like scent and taste. My sister loved her vegan drink and said it was one of the best boba drinks she's ever had. Thank you so so much Megan for being so friendly, helpful and patient. I would also like to note that the location was clean, the staff was all very friendly, and all of the customers seemed to be happy and well taken care of. I have no complaints about the beverages and the food, they are always delicious. However, the two girls working today didn't not wash their hands. The first employee was taking orders and handling cash. The second employee comes in late, throws her stuff down, puts on an apron, clocks in and immediately starts to take orders, without washing her hands. The first girl switches from the register to making beverages, also without washing her hands. Then the second girl gets done taking orders, grabs a paper towel to wipe her hand off and starts to make beverages, STILL without washing her hands. I get their hands are not all up in my drink, but that's not okay, they are touching the registers, counters, scoops, cups and other equipment that doesn't get cleaned as often. I've been here practically every day since they've opened, but this is the first time my drink tasted off. What I mean is that I can't tell what exactly was wrong. I ordered a hot Hazelnut Milk Tea, but it tasted 1.) watered down and 2) like I got a different flavor than what I had ordered. Too hot to drink right away so I didn't notice it right away. Definitely going to keep going here, but mainly on Fridays where there is a barista that consistently makes accurate drinks. *Update 11/14/16* While I still love Quickly, my boyfriend and I can no longer shop here. Both he and I have Celiac (allergy to gluten/wheat) and somewhere along the process of making these drinks, they get cross-contaminated with wheat.
