Tried it for the first time Thursday. I think if they if they had a better sitting area it may attract more people. The one kid that was working was very nice but he had his hands full so for that reason I gave this place a 2. I tried it but I'll pass on this place next time. absolutely disappointing I will not be returning there. Sandwich was covered in condiments, smashed sideways, bacon, undercooked, apple pies were undercooked and stuck to the wrappers. I can't even eat the apple pies because they're stuck to the wrappers and they ended up in the garbage. overall, customer service absolutely poor food quality, even worse. It's fine. Not great, not horrible. If you order off the app you can get some better deals, however they might not remember to check the app orders. They forgot to check the app orders for ours. The layout for the restaurant is very odd but there are probably 5 tables in there. I recommend taking the food home to eat. Also you probably should check your order. They forgot the cheese on our "All American Cheeseburger" and the dipping sauces for the chicken bites. Don't worry, the employees aren't sticklers for details and are in no rush. It's honestly heartbreaking to say this, but this Checkers/Rally's on Highway 59 has been nothing short of a disappointment. When it first came to Merced, people were excited. We were genuinely happy to finally have one here something new, something different. But that excitement has turned into frustration and regret. Whoever owns or runs this place clearly doesn't care about much more than the money. The service is terrible, the food quality is inconsistent, and on multiple occasions, my orders have been flat-out wrong. To make matters worse, their rewards program never works, and the drive-thru is painfully slow. Fifteen minutes behind just two cars that's not fast food, that's a waiting game. It's disheartening because this place could have been a real win for Merced. I actually want to support it. I want to see it succeed. But at this point, I almost rather drive all the way to Los Banos just to get a slightly better experience. Not perfect but at least I get my food right and on time. Now, here's my constructive criticism: Take more pride in your restaurant. Do the research. Do the work to find out what makes a business thrive and what keeps customers coming back. Right now, it feels like the owner just looks at this as a cash grab. But here's the truth if you invest in doing things the right way, the money will come naturally. Hire and keep the right people who truly believe in customer service. Encourage your team to care about getting things right the first time. No one's perfect, but at least try to give customers the best experience possible. Implement surveys, listen to feedback, and even reward employees for excellent service. Because at the end of the day, this restaurant could be more than just a drive-thru on Highway 59 it could be a pillar in the community. But that starts with caring about more than the profit. We like the Rally's in los banos so we wanted to try this one. For it being only opened two months it looks ROUGH inside. The red wrapping on the walls is already peeling, the walls are very black, the floors are filthy. The layout is very odd. To top it off there are lots of homeless people sitting inside. One man was trying to grab napkins and his fingers were FILTHY and he was touching all of them. We ordered wings and chicken bites box. Our order was wrong, we ordered buffalo and was given bbq. Our fries were soggy and the bites have a weird taste. Honestly do NOT recommend unless u like extremely shitting food and they might get your order wrong. If u decide to go try the drive through because it's dirty inside and you might be in a room full of unhoused individuals. read more

Well waited till the big rush has died down and well the should've trained thier employees. I didn't even get started as the menu wasnt even showing on the screens people waiting 30-45 min and this is probable a first but the customers decided to go on strike. In the full 5 min I was there 8 people ahead of me all walked out. We were 3 and the 4 behind us all decided to just leave. The workers were all huddled in the back and not one was taking orders. So we walked out. To the owner its best you shut down and train your people at every level. It would be shame to see you go soon as Merced needs establishment's like this in the city. The wait time was 25+ minutes in the drive thru. The workers are untrained and careless and it clearly shows with the food quality. You're better off going to the LB location instead. Thats how a Rally's should be ran tbh read more

Finally! A franchise close to civilization. I have been waiting for this one to open and the first time they did not disappoint. The service was excellent. The Big Buford was not over done and the Sweet Tea was tasty. Not a bad location too. Will be back for more on the menu very soon. read more

Worst first experience ever. Went first day they opened. Place was only opened for five hours. Few tables are dirty. Floor was filthy. Went to drive up. Was the 5th car and it was a 45 minute wait. I usually come here and order the 10-piece wings and always request all flats--something they've done for me plenty of times in the past. But this time, I was told they couldn't do it, which was a bit frustrating and disappointing. I also asked if they had ice cream, and was told the machine was already off--even though there were still 30 minutes left until closing. It's not a huge deal, but it was a little upsetting, especially since I've had better experiences here before. Just wanted to share my recent visit. Decided to go try out the new Rally's in Merced for national hamburger day as in the app and all over social media they were advertising a special $3 duo promotion. When I went to order was told we do not participate in those kinds of promotion and why we are not allowing orders from the app today. I will not be going here again. read more

My first impression is that this restaurant was a hole in the wall shack with poorly designed floor plan. The staff were pleasant, the food came fairly quick and their burger is comparable to in-n-out burger. The portion size was kind small for the amount they charge, so you might leave hungry. read more

To be brand new that's embarrassing a very unorganized, it's extremely dirty inside, the employees are very slow and look very lost! I've been there three times and all three times either they forget items, uncooked food or wrong order Given.
