Portion size is ridiculous here. I've been to many locations before but this is by far the worst. I'm never coming back to this place.

Panda is panda. The only critique I have for not only this Panda, but as well as the one in the mall, is the broccoli is NEVER cooked through. It's so stiff & hard to take. I love beef & broccoli but I'm just going to stop getting it at both of these places because it is never good. I usually just throw the broccoli away because it's nearly raw with some flavor added to it. Other than that, the food never disappoints. read more

The restaurant states it closes at 10:30 pm however when I went around at 9:58pm an employee locked the doors when I was getting out of my car without telling me anything. Therefore I hoped back in my car to drive thru the drive thru thinking that I would still find food. But to my surprise when the employee greeted me through the voice machine he said that they had no more food. I was left hungry so I give it a low score because a restaurant should not run out of food while still being opened. read more

Pepper Chicken, Pacific Chili Shrimp, Orange Chicken and Fried Rice are awesome combination.

I visited this store twice this week. I liked the food here, very fresh and tasty. The staff are very polite and helpful.

Horrible Horrible Service!! We waited in drive thru line for 25 minutes with only 5 cars ahead of us only to find out at the order menu that they out of chowmein and a few other entrees. We ended up not wanting anything else on the menu and didn't even place an order but were stuck in the drive thru line and waited an additional 15 minutes to get out of there. We will never go to this panda again! read more

I love panda as is. But their staff is amazing! Flipped my day right around! The employee assisting me was a young girl named Gisell. Although it was busy, she kept a smile and made sure my order was done right. read more

I had great service at panda drive thru about a week ago. The person in the Windows name is Gisell, she has awesome personality, very polite as well, and had positive energy. I'm very satisfied with the last visit and I can only hope the next visit is just the same. read more

Very disappointed tonight! Drove about 15 min in traffic to place my order in the drive thru, drove back home only to find that one plate was completely empty of the orange chicken that I ordered. It's not like they gave me double of the other item, they just completely left a empty space in the container. This was the only thing my son wanted and I paid for it, so I drove another 15 min back just so they could give me a small to go container of orange chicken. I'm sure it's no where near the portion size that I should have got and paid for!! Disappointed that this is the only one in Merced with a drive thru. read more

so... even though they don't accept the V.I.P. card, I come back here once in a while. But, I have been "bumped" in the drive through by two cars now, on two separate occasions. Maybe people just want to eat their food because it's so good? In a pinch... this place will get you through dinner. read more

Great food and great service! However drive through can be slow. If you want something quick, inside might be your best bet if there not too busy. read more

Today I went to Panda Express. While waiting for them to ask me what I want. The Asian girl whom puts the rice or chow main and stuff in was telling the Mexican girl who decided to test food temperature why it was busy that the Asian girl whom was working drive thru had a hang over. So the one checking the the temperature ask the one on drive thru if she had a hangover. Then all three of them start laughing. While I was waiting for the cashier to grab my food and put my egg roll in the bag which by the way took 5 minutes because she seemed to be the only person really trying to work. You have another employee guy come up and start making his food. So you have the drive thru, the temperature reader and the main entry person as well as someone else there now making there food all playing around while the girl working register keeps trying to go around all them to get people there food and cash them out. It took 15 minutes to get my food when reality it should have only take at most 5 minutes. Watching this was so unprofessional and something I would not want customers to see. read more

Everything was good except for the chow mein, it tasted like it was old, or possibly like it was overcooked. I am there often, so hopefully when I decide to go back it will be much better. read more

Very nice food, will come back always, very nice customer service and clean place, all the items were fresh and taste is always good for Panda Express read more

GREAT Mushroom Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken and Chow Mein

I just had dinner here and I was very disappointed. First of all the chow-mein was burnt, it was black on the ends and you could smell that it was burnt but the cook still put it out to be served and the server continued to dish it out like that was the way it was normally served. The orange chicken was half crispy and half soft and the really crispy pieces had almost no orange glaze. This was not a good experience. While I was not expecting high level gourmet cuisine I do expect to be served food that is cooked properly and get my $9 worth. I ate two bites of the chow-mein just to see if it was edible, it wasn't, and I only half of the chicken. Needless to say I just ate here for the last time. What a waste of money and time. I will stick to authentic Chinese restaurants when I have a craving, it may take a little longer to be served but it at least it will be worth the wait. Good-bye Panda! read more

Bad customer services manager rude rude rude she slam the window at me throw my food in garbage Marissa and i have the right to refuse services after I told her I call the corport office try to gave me the bony phone number no body dumb like u .Google read more

So they close at 10:30 I went about 9:45. I get you want to leave and go home but Damn! This is about the third time I've ordered fried shrimp and paid for it but was not in my bag. Another issue that bugs me is they NEVER give me straws. There was a gentleman working tonight never seen him there before as I am a regular sweet just didn't get the order right. I love panda but to keep having the same issues is a waste of time and money not a satisfied customer. read more

The food was good other than that had a not so great experience the drive though had 3 cars ahead of me and it took for ever , finally paid and got my food she said that's everything I had to ask 3 times for my passion tea then she handed it to me no ice at all and warm .. parked and ate my semi warm food along with my warm tea ... totally not worth the price for such mediocre food. Would have paid arround the same price for great service and food at a nice Chinese resturant... so disappointed.. read more

Well the food was good but not hot. Had a take out order had to zap it in the microwave when I got home

Waited 30 minutes for 4 plates and a panda bowl(which are normally pre made right?) I would understand if there were a lot of customers or something but there was nobody there when I got there. I went through drive through too and then was told to wait in the parking lot. There was a few cars behind me who got their food and left. After about 30 mins I walked inside and was told that they were slow but then they had a small rush after I ordered. Shouldn't I still get my food first? And nobody came out to update me or let me know. Such slow service. read more

Usually pretty good for what it is. A couple of times some of the items looked like they have been sitting there for a while and was cold. The staff is very friendly but i have learned which employees i want serving me and which ones to avoid. It is really annoying when they put an item on your plate then they look at it , do the weighing it with their hands thing the take some off and put it back in the tray. I mean come on its Chow Mein, just put a spoonful on the plate and move on to the next item. read more

I used to really like panda express.... But the food has become really half fast made in which is no longer a choice on my fast food list to go to..... The fried rice supper dry, chow main taste like hard crunchy dried up top ramen not even freaking soy sauce does the trick...... And for the price Yuck yuck COOKS STEP IT UP......! If You expect to get a raise or promoted make your customers happy and cook how you want to be fed....... You can do it all things are possible........ read more
