Last night, Grub Hub was unable to just change the delivery time to 30 min later to accommodate the restaurant needing more time than planned to prepare their pork ribs. After much frustration, I cancelled the delivery order and called the restaurant and asked them to keep preparing the order and we would come over to dine in, which we've been wanting to do at some point anyway. So glad things worked out! We jumped in an Uber with Happy Luis and headed to PTC. We enjoyed their limited yet good selection of wine, their delicious egg drop soup and (temp) hot and crunchy veggie egg rolls. Then we started enjoying the freshly prepared dinner we ordered. We even got their first servings of Orange Chicken (crispy outside, tender inside, wrapped in their amazing sauce), as well as their Pork Ribs (still sizzling in sauce, tender and delicious inside). The service was outstanding, food even more amazing, ambiance pleasant and clean, and we even saved $25 in delivery fees. See you next week! Please keep making the best Thai in town. My wife and I just love Thai food and we tend to stay we tend to stay within our local neighborhood... Okay, we were originally going to go to another Thai place locally, one that my friend Michel-Lin recommended. However, after going and being disappointed on the "no more tables for the day" sign, my Thai food cravings is still there. Found this place on yelp and based on the high review and pictures, we decided to give it a try. We were really not disappointed. If you get a moment, check this place out. A place that feels like home. Ngl, I thought it was gonna be run down and a lil more sketchy cuz the prices are soo good. But it was quite the opposite and had a very cozy ambience/ cool hipster like beer poster decor. The area its in is decently safe, and it has its own parking lot! Just be careful to slow down for that unprotected left turn in. The waitress that greets you is such a sweetheart. I wasn't able to reach the place by phone so we walked in with a party of 9 ( weekday). Immediately she got to pushing the table together and giving the two that got there first water and menus. The lunch deals here are chefs kiss, and they really cater to a diversity of tastes ( from orange chicken to pad see ew). I definitely recommend their stir fried noodle dishes over their rice dishes, but they are a good deal and p decent flavor. They also have wings!! So it's a great place to bring a variety of friends, but also note the space is kind of small ( still has enough space to not feel squeezed), so if you bring like 20 people it'd probably be the capacity. I did the lunch deal with fried rice, spicy fried tofu and egg rolls. The egg rolls were like lumpia, crispy, veggie and with a nice sweet and sour sauce. The fried tofu I had requested it to be extra spicy which had a buildup of peppery heat that my friends could not tolerate lol. Everything was seasoned well, portion was perfect to price and they even added little touches to the orange chicken like slice of orange or decoration on the noodles. I would say if you can't handle spice it is on the spicier side. If you're okay with spice then it'll be satisfying as it builds up :). Their takeout is also super efficient! And you can order at the register and then sit down for easier splitting. Overall, a great place for students or young adults looking for a cheap eat. The quality is great, and although not the most authentic it's good enough to accomodate a variety of taste buds and 5 star hospitality. Stir fried noodz are the top seller! read more

Just shut it down I use to go here many years ago when culture beat records was next door we talking 1990 this place use to stay packed full of people , could not find a seat bc it's small food was good !! NOW !! Omg I asked about the food before ordering is it the same he said the recipe was exchanged well your not doing a good job ! Horrible horrible horrible !! On TOP OF THAT !!! We'd already drunk all our water and had someone come back out to refill it, when the khao soi showed up about 15 minutes later with no mention of the delay. (We also got our check and paid quickly when we were done. Dunno what happened with the khao soi.) The Thai tea was great, and if you're sharing it with someone, 7 bucks is a great price for basically two Thai teas. The pad se ew - the first dish we always judge a Thai place on, being one of both of our favorite Thai dishes - was excellent. Great noodles, perfectly cooked and seasoned, with plenty of Chinese broccoli (I always like to call out the places that use inferior, wrong American broccoli instead, as was *not* the case here). 16 bucks, but that seems to be the going rate these days for Thai food (I remember when it was like half that much...), and you get a good portion. Good portion on the khao soi too. Wonderfully delicious crispy chicken, and a good amount of it. Great curry. Slightly too many crispy noodles, slightly not enough of the regular king - noodle-wise, just ok. In terms of khao soi, ST Noodle is definitely still the gold standard, with Thai District in 2nd. Right away I recognized a worker (Grace) which was a delightful surprise. Grace welcomed us with a smile and her service was fantastic. Oh and Thai tea It was all pretty delicious Soup was flavorful love the lemon grass hints and the chicken was tender, my only critique is that temperature could have been hotter It was too warm for my preference The chicken larb was also good with its citrus flavors and I didn't even mind the onion it all came together well. The thai bbq chicken was too sweet for my taste but still very good flavor all around I did like how some pieces of the chow mein were a little crunchy and combined with the chicken for a perfect bite. Service was also great , very straight forward and attentive individual took care of us while we dined in. The Thai bbq chicken was eaten before I could take a good picture oops

The Pho made it home still piping hot and the broth was full of flavor. All the toppings were fresh. Since the noodles came pretty much raw it took a little time for them to cook in the broth but once it did, everything came together perfectly. This will be added to my rotation of Pho spots in Long Beach!

The cook in the back did give me a friendly wave when he was done preparing my food and that was as friendly touch. The food was packaged securely in a takeout container with napkins, a packet of sriracha, soy sauce, and a fork but no spoon. I took my lunch back to my hotel room. It would've been easier if I had a spoon but overall it was tasty and met expectations. As I am in Long Beach on conference, I don't know if I'll ever get to Wa Wa again but I'd certainly recommend it for a quick takeout lunch if you're in the area!
