Okay, we were originally going to go to another Thai place locally, one that my friend Michel-Lin recommended. However, after going and being disappointed on the "no more tables for the day" sign, my Thai food cravings is still there. Found this place on yelp and based on the high review and pictures, we decided to give it a try. We were really not disappointed. If you get a moment, check this place out. Last night, Grub Hub was unable to just change the delivery time to 30 min later to accommodate the restaurant needing more time than planned to prepare their pork ribs. After much frustration, I cancelled the delivery order and called the restaurant and asked them to keep preparing the order and we would come over to dine in, which we've been wanting to do at some point anyway. So glad things worked out! We jumped in an Uber with Happy Luis and headed to PTC. We enjoyed their limited yet good selection of wine, their delicious egg drop soup and (temp) hot and crunchy veggie egg rolls. Then we started enjoying the freshly prepared dinner we ordered. We even got their first servings of Orange Chicken (crispy outside, tender inside, wrapped in their amazing sauce), as well as their Pork Ribs (still sizzling in sauce, tender and delicious inside). The service was outstanding, food even more amazing, ambiance pleasant and clean, and we even saved $25 in delivery fees. See you next week! Please keep making the best Thai in town. Thai cuisine is in the top 5 of my personal favorite cuisines. That being said, It's one of those cuisines where love and passion plays a part in the dishes' taste. After leaving my hometown and my go-to Thai restaurant, I stumbled in to many different places unable to find my new one. Pad Thai classic may have just taken that spot. The place is tidy, the ambience is great, and the service is excellent. We ordered the Tom yum which is always a must at any Thai place we go to and it hit the spot. We chose spicy for the soup and well... it certainly lived up to the name lol. We also got the chicken Penang curry with shrimp fried rice and it was delicious and well seasoned. I played the scout for my family, and can go to back them with the good news that we have our new spot. I can't wait to come back soon. read more

This has to be one of the best food spots in Long Beach. I could go on and on about how amazing the staff and service is. And it is, some of the best in fact. So after waiting and watching the two lady bar servers continue to have extended conversations and pretty much ignoring myself and my guest...I walked to the bar and asked the bartender if anyone was taking orders in the open seating indoor area that we were sitting at. The bartender told me that the ladies working the section had to help wash dishes and basically unable to take myself and my guest orders. We ended up walking out and went to a neighboring restaurant along the waterfront strip. How hard would have it had been to take a couple of orders or at the very least say "Hello" or "Give us a minute we are a little busy". Don't keep talking to your favorite customers and continue to walk by myself and my guest without saying something. The whole vibe seemed like the moral at this establishment with this shift is very low. Teach your servers to engage with all guest instead of have social hour during their shift...at the bare minimum again, a simple "hello" or "I'll help you in a moment" This happened on Saturday 02/28/2026 from 4pm through 4:35 pm (if management wants to look at the cameras and see just how disengaged the staff was during this shift).
