The menu is just what you would think for a diner menu. You can order breakfast or some sandwiches, burgers, Mac and cheese, and there is a selection of dinner entrees. Her response was an incredulous, "You're staying???" We explained that we were willing to take our chances with the weather, at which point she informed me that they were out of Bloody Mary mix. I then requested waters. Another 10 minutes passed before she dropped off the waters without taking our order. After another 10 minutes without service, we left, having spent approximately 30 minutes feeling ignored and unwelcome. We found a much better experience across the street, where we enjoyed attentive service, delicious food, and a welcoming dog-friendly patio. I understand that weather, seating limitations, and restaurant policies may be beyond a server's control. How guests are treated is not. For a restaurant called Welcome Diner, the irony was especially disappointing.

I remember this saying if you l oh someone's attention the first three seconds and first three steps you'll spend the next 30 min trying to make them believe you're hiring. It's true. I was too tired this week to be extremely understanding but I'm never rude. I told my hubby let's both let this one go. And I said "But we won't return here." He nodded in agreement. Because I see people come in and sit down I see how tired they are and make quick calls to be able to turn their day around if only for a short time before they return home....to being a caregiver or to grieve a loss. Sad dinner and maybe she had a tough week too. But. But times 3 over.

1 STAR -- My experience with Outcast Doughnuts This started because I left an honest negative review. Months later, another TikTok food reviewer gave basically the same opinion, so I asked TJ why he didn't have the same energy for that reviewer that he had for me. From there, I got into a back-and-forth with the business's social-media account, not realizing at first that their social-media manager was responding. TJ eventually stepped in, then personally came to my business after the argument escalated. We talked face-to-face, and there was no fight. Afterward, I posted the messages and voice recordings showing what had happened. Those videos went viral. From my perspective, once the public reaction turned against them, the focus became getting me to remove the videos and controlling the narrative. I refused to delete them. After that came complaints against my business, an injunction against harassment, police reports and ultimately criminal charges that I am still fighting more than a year later. What bothers me most is how the story has been presented afterward. Old messages get posted without the full conversation, my reactions get shown without what happened beforehand, and allegations get repeated while context that helps me is left out. I'm not pretending I was always polite. I argued, cursed and posted about what was happening. The difference is I have never hidden that. I've preserved the messages, videos and court records so people can see the entire timeline instead of one carefully selected piece. A negative doughnut review should never have turned into all of this. Don't take my word for it. Look at the receipts and decide for yourself. read more

Frankly, Outcast Donuts was one of the most overhyped and underwhelming experiences I've had. Right from the first step into the store, the donuts' extravagant prices smack you in the face. And for what? Mediocre flavors and donuts that could best be described as "passable"? But what truly made this visit unforgettable (and not in a good way) was the staff. It's one thing to not be overly friendly - not every day is a great day, after all. However, the workers at this establishment seem to have taken "rude" as their primary customer service approach. A smile was harder to find than a reasonably priced donut. What truly solidified my opinion was witnessing a particularly egregious incident. A single mother briefly stepped away with her two children to use the restroom. In her short absence, one of the employees threw away her donut. Mistakes happen, but the response was what shocked me. When the mother returned to find her treat in the trash, not only was there no apology, but the worker had the audacity to blame the mother for the mistake, pointing fingers at her need to take her kids to the bathroom! No replacement, no remorse, just sheer insensitivity. If you're looking for overpriced donuts served with a side of disrespect, then Outcast Donuts might just be your spot. Otherwise, steer clear. There are plenty of other establishments that deserve your hard-earned money and will treat you with basic decency. read more

Got a variety -- the highlights were the fantastic glazed donut holes, the amazing old fashioned strawberry frosted, and the apple fritter. Easily the best apple fritter I have ever had and probably the best old fashioned donut I've ever experienced as well! Forgive the picture of several donuts torn in half -- I dug in before taking a picture... and after taking a picture for the review, more of the apple fritter is gone.

I appreciate the freshness and wide variety of available options. It was a little overwhelming but in a good way. I arrived at the donut shop around 11:00 am and all the donuts looked freshly made. BoSa Donut operates exclusively in Arizona... if ever in Phoenix again, paying them a second visit is a must.

My purse went flying and the smell of burning rubber permeated the air. But we were going to have donuts, and nothing was going to stop us. The shop is dated...or full of character....whichever perspective you choose. It's not the neatest or most trendy spot in town, but the donuts are good! The also have a variety of boba teas, in case you need to layer your sugar-no judgment here. You can take your order to go, or there are tables both inside and outside for you to stay and enjoy. The owners were sitting down hanging out while waiting for customers to come thru, when I walked in one got up to help me but no Hi how are you type of courtesy but that's OK, I was there for the Boston cream and some yummies for the Littles!
