The beer was very good. The service was good. The food was okay, the wings were average. The margarita pizza was tasteless - it tasted like canned sauce with dollops of cheese over frozen crust. I would not recommend it. The others in my party said the pepperoni pizza was decent. read more

We were literally driving by it on our way to eat lunch somewhere else but this place looked nice and we made a u-turn to come back and eat here! Breadsticks: 3.5/5 Tasty, garlic butter flavor was delicious. However, the insides were not as pillowy soft. Maybe because the ones we got were all pretty thick? It felt pretty dry and we ended up dipping it in the leftover sauce from the shrimp and scallop fritters Shrimp and scallop fritters: 5/5 Would order these again! Kind of like a leveled up hush puppy. Super good and the mix of sauces on top was a perfect compliment to these crispy fritters. Lost travelers noodles: 2/5 I tend to stray away from ordering Asian inspired food from non-asian eateries but my fiancé really wanted to try these. We ordered these at the recommendation of the waiter and added the shrimp like he mentioned. Maybe I have a high standard for noodles but I did not like this. My fiancé said it was good, but he left a lot of food in the bowl and didn't want to take it home so I think that says something too. Not sure what it was about it, maybe one of the herbs in it was throwing me off? Tri-tip plate: 4/5 Solid tri-tip, cooked nicely and came with a side of slightly dressed arugula which paired nicely. Best tri-tip I've ever had? Nope, but it was tasty. It was definitely a good size serving to share with about 10 slices. General: 4/5 Bathrooms are super clean, place is spacious, good for groups and seating outside on a warm day is so beautiful overlooking the duck pond. This place is doggo friendly and they provided our pup with a fresh bowl of water before we even asked which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely come again to try other dishes (pizza looked great!) if we're in the area. read more

Food is great and the restaurant is big with lots of different areas and different ambiance choices. We always have great service as well!

Such a nice spot to get dinner with friends or family! We put our names down on a list were called no more than 15 minutes later. The staff is attentive and friendly. We ordered the OBC burger, the tri tip sandwich and an order of wings for an appetizer! The OBC burger tasted pretty good but was very messy to eat. The tri tip sandwich had wonderful flavors as well but was also falling apart. I think its the bread they use, its very flimsy and soaks up all the sauces/juices and quickly gets soggy. The wings were delicious and filling. Overall, its a nice spot to try out, they have a wide range of food options and a drink menu full of fun drinks to try! Its kind of expensive so I probably would not come back. Thank you OBC!! (: read more

The service was perfect, unfortunately the Wagyu burger was not was expected, disappointing. Order the regular burger and you will not be disappointed. Also, they do not accept cash, so keep that in mind. Great vibe though. read more

The food here was delicious. Had the burger and ordered the brussel sprout appetizer with pork belly was so good. This place has lots of parking and seating. Our server was attentive and gave recommendations on the food and drinks. We were a big party and he was kind enough to split our bills. Obviously there beer options are many and their cocktails were good too. I enjoyed the tomatillo cocktail. Very unique and tasty. read more

Matt has been our server twice and he is always very hospitable and enthusiastic about serving us. He talked me into getting another beer because my food was coming and because it was happy hour so definitely a good salesman! Lol. My wife and I LOVE OBC. Their food and ambiance and the view of the lake is phenomenal. Huge shoutout to Matt as the server/bartender. I would take him as my server any day! Also, try their chicken nachos and their tri tip sandwich. Freaking amazing! read more

To begin the Thanksgiving holiday weekend my wife and I decided to venture into the OBC located adjacent to the Temecula Duck Pond to see what they have to offer. To our surprise the establishment was very well designed, and the decor was extremely appealing. Aside from the bar area they boast a huge outdoor terrace and wraps around the complete side of the brewery along the park with excellent sun-setting views. In addition there are a couple of indoor dining areas that are also quite large. I would estimate the capacity to be around 1,000 people. The customer service level is very good, and they employ several waiters, waitresses and bartenders to insure swift service. Great selection of craft brews and cocktails. The food that we sampled was quite delicious and the selections that others choose looked very appetizing as well. Great atmosphere, and noise level somewhat low. Highly recommend for a date, or special occasion. read more

Staying at a winery and ate here the first night, because my wife and friends know I'm more of a beer connoisseur. I hadn't been here in over ten years, when it was a Pat and Oscar's. The property is next to a man-made lake, very attractive. There are tables with a lake view. We chose the bar so we could watch the MLB All Star game. Bar height tables. Our young female server took care of us. On a Tuesday night, not crowded. I had a nice IPA, friend a pale ale, and our wives a cocktail and a sangria. Appetizers were roasted Brussel sprouts and pork belly, as well as chicken wings and a pepperoni pizza. Not the best pizza, but satisfying enough. Reasonably priced. I would come back. read more

This brewery is my favorite! The atmosphere, food, and service is great here. Very dog friendly too! I always get my dog a hamburger patty and they bring it in a dog bowl. Food tastes great, the carnitas nachos and buffalo wings are a must try! Drinks are also good and everything is decently priced. Highly recommend checking this place out. read more

I've been to the old Pat & Oscars, but Oscar's Brewing Company is even better and they still have the same exact breadsticks (so good!!!) The food was great, the prices were reasonable and the service was awesome! Our waiter checked on us so many times, and was incredibly friendly. Plenty of seating options (with lots of outside patio options overlooking the duck pond). Plenty of shade for the outdoor seating and heaters for those cold months. I will definitely be back! PROS: * plenty of parking * great views * plenty of outdoor shaded tables * great menu with options for everyone * happy hour ($5 draft beer!) * the breadsticks...just order them! CONS: * side salad had way too much dressing (just ask for it on the side) * wish there were some more happy hour options read more

This place is amazing. Everyone who works there is really friendly and honestly cater to whatever you may need (that isn't unreasonable). The outdoor seating has such a nice view. The bar, which only 21 over are allowed in, is beautiful. Drinks and food have never let me down.. The burger, lemon chicken and spicy hummus are just a few of my faves. read more

Unfortunately, left a lot to be desired. Service was fine, our server was nice enough. However, the food was very mediocre and over priced. Ambiance is what earned the 2 stars, nice patio with good view. We had the mac and cheese and the wagyu burger. $30 burger small, flavorless and overpriced. Very clear this is a brewery first and a restaurant second. Basically poorly dressed up bar food. read more

At this moment, on this day, in this month, Matt, Jarren, Leah and Miles have been my heroes. Their service, patience, mixology, courtesy, and professionalism has been seen and appreciated. Not just with my party, but with other, very demanding groups. Well done to the Oscars team! read more

Major disappointment. First off a 50 dollar bill for a non alcoholic soda, a small bite meal and a dessert is outrageous. Limited customer service, had to flag down to get my dessert and initially did not receive any napkin or utensils. The small bite chicken nachos were just not good. Too much congealed cheese with a slimy texture and the flavors with the lemon chicken and the sauces etc. none worked and it was not appealing at all. I then got a 14 dollar "bread pudding" what i got was one slice of bread (not bread pudding in any universe) which was toasted on the flat top. Soaked with what appears to be simple syrup and then a tiny amt of commercial caramel "sauce" on top. Not worth the money and just plain lazy on the part of the person who pit together this menu. Blatant money grab using pre-packaged foods and short cuts. Will never return. read more

In the early 90s, I moved to San Diego from Los Angeles. I first lived in the community of Carmel Mountain Ranch. One day on an afternoon walk, I stumbled onto a small hole in the wall new restaurant named Pat & Oscar's. There was a kind older gentleman who stood out in front of the restaurant every day handing out their delicious breadsticks. This definitely got people into the place. They also had this dressing that till this day I have not found anything better. Fast-forward to October 13, 2024 when I was in Temecula California visiting my mother. I discovered that Pat&Oscar's changed names to Oscars Brewing Company at the corner of Ynez Road and Rancho California Road. I Decided to see if things were still as they were back and then 90s. I met a young man, unfortunately I did not get his name, and asked if the breadsticks and dressing were still the same as the original recipe. He indicated to me that they were. I told him my story of how I was introduced to Pat&Oscar and he told me that he was a grandsons of the original owners. I bought dressing and in the most incredible gesture, he gave me some breadsticks to take home. When I share this with my family, it took us all back to a day when we were younger, and the breadsticks and dressing were still amazing. I do wish they still had their Lemon Chicken on the menu though. When customer service seems to be lacking in the hospitality industry. this young man, grandson of Pat&Oscar, definitely proved it was still alive and his grandfather would be proud of him. The Mac and cheese... needs cheese. Not enough cheese and it was like eating plain pasta shells. The cheese it does have was watery and not thick. Absolutely no flavor at all. Got it with tri tip, yeah no flavor to that either. The bread pudding was dry and not enough sauce. The bread was actually kind of hard. The only thing good, was the chocolate wasted dessert and the soda I got. My daughter did enjoy her burger. Definitely needs some improvement. read more

We recently moved to Temecula about four months ago to be closer to family and friends who have lived here for years. Oscar's Brewing Company has always caught our eye with its beautiful lakeside setting and glowing lights--it truly gives off a welcoming vibe from the road. We were excited to finally visit with our family, including three kids, and experience it firsthand. When we arrived, we asked to sit outside and requested the heaters be turned on since it was a bit chilly. The staff hesitated and mentioned that the owners don't allow the heaters to be turned on near the lights, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. There were only two tables inside and one other outside. Once seated, our server approached without introducing himself and simply asked what we wanted to drink as he placed metal cups of water in front of us. None of us were comfortable drinking directly from the metal cups, so we asked for straws. He gave us only two straws for nine people. We could clearly see more straws in his pocket, but when we asked again, he said he'd go get more. He returned with only two more. At that point, some of us just skipped the water altogether. Later, another server brought out the sodas and apple juices we had ordered, and thankfully, he was polite and brought enough straws for everyone. That small interaction was appreciated. The experience continued to decline from there. When our original server finally returned to take our order, he walked away halfway through and then came back to finish it. Our food came out at three different times, and ironically, my husband--the one paying--got his food last. It was overcooked. We also never received our appetizers until after most meals had arrived. The calamari we ordered came out as one solid clump, like it hadn't been separated during frying. The dipping sauce served with it was cold and oddly chunky. When I asked for it to be warmed up, a different server brought us a marinara-type sauce, which was better. Throughout the meal, our server seemed distracted or perhaps exhausted--we weren't sure. We asked for ketchup for the kids, and he never returned. Another staff member finally brought it... 20 minutes later. By then, the kids' food was cold, and they were understandably restless. It was strange that with such few patrons, service was still this poor. Despite all this, when he returned to check in, we simply told him everything was "okay," because honestly, it seemed like he wasn't having a good day, and we didn't want to be confrontational. Our total bill was around $250. Not outrageous, and we still left a tip. We just didn't feel like it was worth making a scene. Sadly, we won't be returning anytime soon. The food was mediocre at best, and while the atmosphere is lovely, the service left a lot to be desired. read more

I really enjoy our visits to OBC. The last time we went, we had the crab fritters, fish & chips, and the Margherita pizza. The crab fritters were pretty good. If you order this, they drizzle spicy mayo and some other sauce over them, and you have to make sure each bite has a good amount on it! Pizza sauce can totally make or break a pizza, and the sauce --on this pizza, at least-- reminds me of a true Napoletano pizza. The crust is also thinner, like a Napoletano. The fish and chips is NOT your traditional style of fish and chips. If you have an open mind for flavor and love fish and chips, I'd say to order it! They have their own take the entire dish. The fish fish is fried extra crispy, and it comes with their own rendition of a tartar sauce. I'm not typically a fish and chips type of person, but my taste of this was enough to make me want to steal the plate! They have a good selection of beer, wine, and cocktails, also. We always opt to sit outside, because the view of the pond below is nice. They have shade cloth above you, also, so you're not out there being beaten on by the sun. Other reviews subtract stars for the pricing, but I honestly felt like it was pretty on par with other breweries/gastropubs. If you go to their site, you can see the whole menu with pricing before you go. read more

The food is always good here. But you have a bartender there that also works at Texas roadhouse that is absolutely unprofessional and rude. There's some bartenders that enjoy their job or some bartenders that just go there for a paycheck and treat their guests like shit and she's one of them. My lady and I will not go into that bar anymore if she's on the clock. You also have a new manager there that thinks he runs the shit. He needs to learn how to speak to people. read more

OBC is on our list of go-to restaurants. The location is nice (I prefer to sit outside when the weather is nice), the ambiance is pleasant, and the service is friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable and the drinks are tasty ( I like the Pat''s, the Coconut Margarita, and the sangria) . The food is consistently good. They offer seasonal items on the menu that are great ( such as the elote pizza) and their regular menu items are also very good. Some of our favorites are the truffle fries, the roasted cauliflower, the maitake mushroom pizza, and the tri tip. The food here was really good. I grew up going to the chain Pat & oscars and their family meals were unreal. So when I was tipped that this place still serves up the breadsticks from Pat and oscars I knew I had to stop by. We ordered the breadsticks (duh, a must) 10/10 A Caesar salad 7/10 Adult mac and cheese 8/10 Fish taco 7/10 Lemon seasoning wings 8/10. Great food. The service was pretty slow, that's the only reason for me not giving 5 stars. The food was the star and luckily made up for the slow service today. read more

This restaurant is away from Downtown Temecula, so you'll feel like you have more breathing room, especially with the duck pond right in front of you if you choose to be seated outdoors. There's endless beers but no cider, unfortunately. The desert rose cocktail was just okay. The carnitas fries is a must. The fish taco was tasty but would have been nice with the option to get it beer-battered instead of just grilled. The salad that comes as a side with the tri-tip sandwich was seasoned simply with olive oil and salt and was refreshing. Highly recommend this place read more

This place has one of the best locations! My husband got the tri tip sandwich and he loved it. Kids were happy with their pizza and cheese burger. If you like your pizza crispy do not order the mushroom pizza. I let my waiter know about how it felt too wet and doughy he quickly changed my order and I got the burger instead with fries.
