It felt pretty dry and we ended up dipping it in the leftover sauce from the shrimp and scallop fritters Shrimp and scallop fritters: 5/5 Would order these again! Kind of like a leveled up hush puppy. Super good and the mix of sauces on top was a perfect compliment to these crispy fritters. Lost travelers noodles: 2/5 I tend to stray away from ordering Asian inspired food from non-asian eateries but my fiancé really wanted to try these. We ordered these at the recommendation of the waiter and added the shrimp like he mentioned. Maybe I have a high standard for noodles but I did not like this. My fiancé said it was good, but he left a lot of food in the bowl and didn't want to take it home so I think that says something too. Not sure what it was about it, maybe one of the herbs in it was throwing me off? Tri-tip plate: 4/5 Solid tri-tip, cooked nicely and came with a side of slightly dressed arugula which paired nicely. Best tri-tip I've ever had? Nope, but it was tasty. It was definitely a good size serving to share with about 10 slices. General: 4/5 Bathrooms are super clean, place is spacious, good for groups and seating outside on a warm day is so beautiful overlooking the duck pond. Such a nice spot to get dinner with friends or family! We put our names down on a list were called no more than 15 minutes later. The staff is attentive and friendly. We ordered the OBC burger, the tri tip sandwich and an order of wings for an appetizer! The OBC burger tasted pretty good but was very messy to eat. The tri tip sandwich had wonderful flavors as well but was also falling apart. I think its the bread they use, its very flimsy and soaks up all the sauces/juices and quickly gets soggy. OBC is on our list of go-to restaurants. The location is nice (I prefer to sit outside when the weather is nice), the ambiance is pleasant, and the service is friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable and the drinks are tasty ( I like the Pat''s, the Coconut Margarita, and the sangria) . The food is consistently good. They offer seasonal items on the menu that are great ( such as the elote pizza) and their regular menu items are also very good. Some of our favorites are the truffle fries, the roasted cauliflower, the maitake mushroom pizza, and the tri tip. I went to Oscar's brewing company this week. I ordered the ahi poke bowl with a side of truffle oil french fries. My friend ordered the almost 40 dollar plate of salmon. I was super excited for the food to come. I had stopped by the bar and ordered an extra dirty martini. The drink was pretty smooth. The staff and team they have are actually ALL really great. The service was amazing. The ambience at the bar was really lovley. I really like it. But when the food came I was a little underwhelmed. My fish was raw so I was expecting it to be a nice cold and very refreshing dinner but unfortunately it wasn't. It was almost room temepture in a way and the portion size was not worth the price on their menu. Same for the fabians salmon. It came on a normal serving plate and the whole meal fit right in the middle of it. That alone was enough to ruin the experience I had at the bar and made me feel bad for the staff. I was a server and know exactly what it feels like to serve something I'm not proud of. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone that is looking for good meals and good drinks. But if you're just going to sit at the bar after you have dinned somewhere else, I would say this is the spot. read more

This restaurant is away from Downtown Temecula, so you'll feel like you have more breathing room, especially with the duck pond right in front of you if you choose to be seated outdoors. There's endless beers but no cider, unfortunately. The desert rose cocktail was just okay. The carnitas fries is a must. The fish taco was tasty but would have been nice with the option to get it beer-battered instead of just grilled. To begin the Thanksgiving holiday weekend my wife and I decided to venture into the OBC located adjacent to the Temecula Duck Pond to see what they have to offer. To our surprise the establishment was very well designed, and the decor was extremely appealing. Aside from the bar area they boast a huge outdoor terrace and wraps around the complete side of the brewery along the park with excellent sun-setting views. In addition there are a couple of indoor dining areas that are also quite large. I would estimate the capacity to be around 1,000 people. The customer service level is very good, and they employ several waiters, waitresses and bartenders to insure swift service. Great selection of craft brews and cocktails. The food that we sampled was quite delicious and the selections that others choose looked very appetizing as well. Great atmosphere, and noise level somewhat low. Great service great views and great food. I have been here 5 years and just tried them for the first time. Glad we decided to go and glad they had mimosas. Pizza was really good straight from the brick over, wings had good sauce and the roasted cauliflower was just right. Went with my wife and the in-laws that were visiting in town. They loved everything as well. We sat outside and enjoyed the view of the pond while we caught up. Great place to have a drink or get beer wasted if that's your thing. It was our first time trying out the place views are nice but like someone else said on a review it didn't live up to the setting , to begin with right away there was a red flag , went to bathroom to wash hands and there was no hand soap , then when we ordered our food my blackened fish tacos where cold, husband ordered a burger medium well and it was actually more raw , service was a bit odd waiters looked all confused with the orders ( to expensive for the food quality we got ) we were very disappointed would bot recommend it. A group of coworkers and I decided to come out to OBC to celebrate one last outing before I start my new job! OBC couldn't have been a more perfect location for a group of about 20. The AMAZING host Jadyn was kind enough to seat us outdoors in a beautiful space where we could all spread out and enjoy ourselves. Over the phone Jadyn was attentive, patient and professional as I inquired information about OBC! Our SKILLED waitress Jocelyn made it really easy for our group by keeping all of our tabs organized by name and she flawlessly made sure that all of my guests were accounted for and satisfied with their drinks and food. Speaking about the food and drinks; everything was superb and came out extremely quick! I had their delicious and a bit spicy Grown-Up Mac & Cheese with tri-tip for food. As for drinks I kept ordering the Pitaya Punch which was sooo good and came out with the most beautiful garnishes! I really enjoy our visits to OBC. The last time we went, we had the crab fritters, fish & chips, and the Margherita pizza. The crab fritters were pretty good. If you order this, they drizzle spicy mayo and some other sauce over them, and you have to make sure each bite has a good amount on it! Pizza sauce can totally make or break a pizza, and the sauce --on this pizza, at least-- reminds me of a true Napoletano pizza. The crust is also thinner, like a Napoletano. The fish and chips is NOT your traditional style of fish and chips. If you have an open mind for flavor and love fish and chips, I'd say to order it! They have their own take the entire dish. The fish fish is fried extra crispy, and it comes with their own rendition of a tartar sauce. I'm not typically a fish and chips type of person, but my taste of this was enough to make me want to steal the plate! They have a good selection of beer, wine, and cocktails, also. We always opt to sit outside, because the view of the pond below is nice. They have shade cloth above you, also, so you're not out there being beaten on by the sun. Other reviews subtract stars for the pricing, but I honestly felt like it was pretty on par with other breweries/gastropubs. We had a company event here last week and everything was amazing, from the venue, to the food to the service. And of course the weather was just perfect, so icing on the cake! Tonya, their events manager helped us set everything up.. she was very informative and patient with us from start til finish. Our waitress/server, Isabel killed it. We had a group of about 50 people and she made it look so easy. She was so sweet and attentive and made sure everyone had what they needed. Couldn't thank her and the whole staff enough.
