Plentiful free garage parking after 5 PM

This was my first visit to the Reston location, though I recently ate at Open Road in Arlington. Bottom line: it's pretty much the same experience. The free popcorn still isn't good or all that enjoyable, service can be hit or miss, drinks are expensive, and the food is very good. The Reston location does have plenty of large TVs, making it a solid place to catch a game. This was a guys' night out for food and drinks, but it's probably not going to become a regular meetup spot when a couple of easy changes could make a big difference. First, get rid of the popcorn, it's honestly laughable. Second, bring the drink prices down. A Wild Turkey and Coke shouldn't cost $14. We started with something to share. My biggest concern was value for the price, and the menu only had a few appetizers that felt both shareable and reasonably priced. The Bavarian Pretzel was good, although I wasn't a fan of the mustard dip. At $10, it's a decent value for two or three people. The chili nachos were tasty, but $18 is just too much for what you get. Even if they doubled the chips and chili, I'd still think they were overpriced by a couple of dollars. I'll definitely give them credit for the entrées. On my last visit I had the jambalaya, which was excellent. This time I ordered the Peruvian-spiced half chicken, and it was fantastic. I ended up spending almost $100. I had a good time and enjoyed the food, but Open Road has moved into my "splurge" category rather than my monthly hangout spot. Our server may have been new because service was slow, and the kitchen was also taking a long time to get food out, especially for a Friday night. I'm giving the Reston location four stars, just like Arlington. The food was tasty, I had a good time, and I'd come back, ... but.... the little things, especially the drink prices, lopsided menu pricing, and inconsistent service, keep it from being one of my spontaneous go-to spots.

Open Road in Reston is part of the Metropolitan Hospitality Group that has restaurants such as Trio, Circa, Salt. We certainly enjoy the food at all their restaurants and always had great service at all locations. Open Road serve American cuisine and have brunch items on their menu. Popcorn is served free when you sit and they're generous on refilling if you want. Good food at reasonable prices as well as one of the best burgers in the DMV area. This chain of restaurants is on our regular rotation for dining out.

Visited on 12/26/25. Overall positive experience. Enjoyed my mocktail and wings as an appetizer. We split a pizza and it was just okay. My friend got the Caesar salad and said she blackened chicken was good. My husband loved the complimentary popcorn.

We hosted a small brunch gathering on Saturday morning and everything went so perfectly! Our guests raved about the food and cocktails, and the indoor "patio" space is open and airy. Bailey and Gabby were very attentive and kind. The ideal location to celebrate!

My biggest regret about dinner here was that I did not have the opportunity to go into the tasting room to sample some of their liquors. That said, everything else about my group's dinner was just about perfect. The atmosphere was fun, including great music. Service was on point. Their crafted cocktails, using their own products, were delicious. The food came out quickly and was quite tasty. The spice combo on my Peruvian chicken dinner was amazing, and the dressing on the salad which accompanied it complemented those flavors well. Everyone else at the table raved equally about their dinners and appetizers. It's great when a distillery can produce both exceptional foods and drinks. Open road certainly knows what they are doing, and I'm glad to have had the chance to visit. I'm looking forward to coming back.

Stopped for a quick bite while out shopping. Server was busy but we never waited for anything. We had chicken nachos and drinks. They were supposed to be on special but we didn't get the happy hour price so check the bill before you pay. It was midday Saturday but I am sure the place is hopping on a Saturday night.

Great atmosphere (5 ): High ceiling, open concept with an industrial look. All wooden tables with a combination of high tops and regular 4-person tables, plus a few luxurious looking booths on one side. Bar towards the back with multiple TV with sports channels playing. There is a whiskey tasting room, a game room, and another standing room only bar. We were just there on a Friday night and there was a solo live performance. Not too loud as the place is large enough to absorb the sound, and I was still able to carry a conversation. Great vibes! Food (4 ) Regular bar menu items. Good selection of local beers. Everything is delicious, portion on the small side - We had the Jambalaya and Steak Frites; an old fashioned and a couple beers. Service (4 ) The place was very busy, we don't see our waitstaff often but he's friendly, took our orders and everything came fine. We did ask for the water.

Landed up in this restaurant by chance. It is a distillery I suppose. So was surprised that the inside is family friendly with nice decor and a large dining area. The menu is quite elaborate. The food was decent. I had the blacked salmon and bread pudding. The complimentary popcorn was a nice touch.

Large indoor space, very clean

The staff was friendly front to back, hostess, waitress, bar tender- friendly and knew the menu and had solid recommendations and knowledge of the menu. The food was great, we had rangoons for an appetizer, followed by their famous General Tso's and the Mongolian Combination, all delicious! Highly recommend this place if you're in the area! However things went downhill pretty quickly. I ordered one of their specialty cocktails, which is more expensive than most of their meals, which was just ok. The drink was pretty strong which I didn't mind but most of it was just ice and the gummy was a little stale. Overall it looked cool but didn't really justify the price. The service is really where I felt let down. The 2 friends that I came with got their food in a normal timespan but it took 20-30 minutes for me to get my food. When I asked about it (because clearly they forgot) they lied and said their kitchen was backed up and the order is being prepared. The restaurant was half empty at that point so it was a little hard to believe. Also another waiter came out 10 minutes later and said my food just started to get cooked and will be out soon. Both my friends were pretty much done with their meals by the time I got mine and I didn't get anything from the staff aside from an insincere apology and a bad excuse. For the price we paid I expected much better service and for the staff to go above and beyond when they make a mistake, which didn't happen. The food was good when it eventually did come out though so I I'll give it an extra star for that.

When the rain started becoming an issue, he actually moved the umbrellas together to make sure Onyx had a dry spot. Really appreciated that. We started with a Bourbon Club and the Nitro Espresso Martini, then got the buffalo wings and she-crab soup. The wings can be grilled or fried and we went grilled, which was definitely the right call. Good char on them and I'd get them the same way again. The she-crab soup was also really good and perfect for a rainy afternoon. For lunch we had the French dip and the Reuben, and subbed the mac and cheese for one of the sides. Both sandwiches were solid, but the mac and cheese deserves a mention of its own. Definitely worth the substitution. Good food, good drinks, and especially good service from Kenny. Being able to hang out on the patio with our dog without the rain ruining lunch made the whole experience even better.

We had Mackenzie as our server and immediately connected because she's a foodie like me. At her suggestion, I got the Grilled Chicken Sandwich but swapped the grilled chicken for fried. She had me at bacon. I mean, what doesn't go well with bacon? The chicken was crispy without being greasy and all the flavors just worked. My son had the chicken and waffles. Chicken was perfectly crispy, although the batter was a little sweeter than I prefer. I'm more of a Southern, savory fried chicken person. We asked for hot sauce to add to the maple syrup and Mackenzie upped it by bringing us hot honey instead. YES! Makers Union, add that to the menu. Promise you, it'll be a hit. You can thank Mackenzie for that one! Hubby had the fish and chips. His first reaction was, "Is that all?" Turns out, it was more than enough and really flavorful. The food was great, but honestly, Mackenzie made the experience. When your server understands food AND is a great people person, that's a winning combination. Great first visit and we'll definitely be back!

One thing I really love about Masti is how thoughtfully the menu is put together. The dishes and even the cocktails feel carefully selected, which makes the experience feel a little more personal than your typical restaurant. The service is phenomenal, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is one of my favorite things about this place. It has a lively vibe without being so loud that you can't hear yourself speak. I love being able to sit down, enjoy good food, and actually hold a conversation. On my most recent visit, our server recommended the Kale Chaat, and it was an excellent choice! We also had the Chili Paneer as an appetizer. For my main course, I had my favorite: butter chicken with basmati rice and garlic naan. I paired it with the Cheeni Espresso cocktail, which is TO DIE FOR. It surprisingly reminds me of a piña colada, and I absolutely love it. The interior is also beautiful, from the lighting to the colors and overall design. Everything comes together to create such a warm and inviting atmosphere. I may be a little biased because I'm a HUGE Masti fan, but this is genuinely one of my favorite restaurants. I will travel across the DMV for their food without hesitation. If butter chicken, great cocktails, beautiful interiors, and a relaxed atmosphere are your thing, Masti is definitely worth trying!

It's great that parking is free in the nearby ramps on the weekend. The restrooms aren't far but you do need to exit the restaurants. The server was attentive and friendly. Portions were generous and drinks were delicious. My toddler was still a little bit picky and honestly I'm not used to all of the traditional Indian spices but I'm glad we tried it. Also it was a bit on the pricey side but to be expected given the location and more elevated ambiance. We were able to bring home some leftovers which was nice not having to stress out about another meal afterwards.
