We asked for some salt and the waitress completely forgot for another 10 minutes. No one checked to see if we needed anything else. Don't get the lomo saltado unless you like it really sweet. Food was 10/10, the popcorn chicken tasted just like my childhood. The Pho short-rib was so tender and just tasted so clean. Can't go wrong with spring rolls. The Bún thịt nướng is very refreshing, just wished it was more cold. Other than that the food is a fore sure recommend. read more

Went here for the second time on Friday 530pm. A little crowded because they have limited seating but we were able to be seated right away. The service has been very friendly and the food comes out pretty fast. The last time my daughter and I shared the Cajun Tiger Prawns with Garlic Noodles, Grilled Pork Vermicelli Noodles with added $ Tiger Prawns; and that was delicious. But I tell you what, my other daughter got the Lomo Saltado and her dish was amazing!!! It was so good that all 3 of us wanted the Lomo Saltado ;) Reasonable pricing and fresh tasting. Yummy food, full of flavor! We tried a few dishes, but my favorite of all was the tiger prawn fried rice. Full of flavor with each spoonful! The side of garlic noodles was shareable between 2-3 people, and it was also delicious. The Lomo saltado was also tasty. Each portion was generous and shareable. Service was decent; both workers were friendly with minimal interaction, and my sister had to call one over finally to get the check. The tables and floors were kinda sticky, so hopefully, they can improve on cleanliness. Other than that, I recommend trying their food! read more

This place usually has people waiting outside. Luckily we stopped by at a random time and they were able to sit our large party quickly. We were lucky enough to get to try lots of options, since there was so many of us. The winners were the braised pho and the spicy lobster noodles. It would've been five stars but I'm going to knock it down due to the issue that we had. Our party of 4 came in & were seated right away. We got fries, popcorn chicken, combo pho, ribeye garlic noodles & shaken beef garlic noodles. The fries & popcorn chicken came out first & the fries were bland. The popcorn chicken however was really good! Then the shaken beef garlic noodles came out -- this is where things got weird. The table next to us sat down after we ordered but they got their meals before we did. I finally get my combo pho & still no signs of the ribeye. We brought it to their attention & told them to cancel it since it was just taking too long & our party was practically almost done eating. They bring out the plate literally right after - saying that they were going to comp the meal due to the timing & that they didn't know why the plate didn't come out. At this point, my husband already lost his appetite because like i said, it was a ridiculous amount of time & the rest of our party was almost done with their food. The bill finally comes and the ribeye was on there so I asked the lady about it. She (older lady with blondeish hair) comes back to my table sort of rude, saying "why you want to take it out?" and so i explained to her & she made me feel like I was lying about it. So another girl comes (states that she's the assistant manager) and says that usually they don't comp meals unless its 30 mins late - ???? why would you let your guest wait around that long for food? So i told her that the other girl had already mentioned it & so she says she will do it for me this time but explained again that it shouldn't of been comped & that the previous worker shouldn't of told us that - as if it was a favor to me when THEY were clearly in the wrong. My combo pho was pretty good & i really did like the popcorn chicken. But they need to communicate with their team better. read more

Came here for lunch today & had really high hopes because of all the pictures and reviews. We ordered and then our orders were arriving at crazy different times. The table next to us sat way after us and got all their food before our table. They forgot my meal and my whole party was almost done before my plate got situated. I got the ribeye garlic noodles and to be honest, it was a little bland. I tried my brother's shaken beef garlic noodles & it was really good and flavorful. I also got the coconut coffee but was not a fan whatsoever. The fries also tasted like it came from a bag out the freezer. Service was okay, we did have a little situation at the end but were able to clear it up. New, Cutesy, Delicious!!! The server was so pleasant and kind. The decor has the extra touch adding ambiance. The Food - I ordered the cucumber salad well seasoned and dressed and super crunchy. The shrimp spring roll was refreshing, fresh and crisp. The Lobster Garlic noodle was Devine, generous serving of lobster and bowl full noodles. 10/10 Run don't walk, it's tucked in the corner of the strip mall but worth every bite. Finally got to try this place after seeing it advertised on IG. Came a little after opening and it wasn't crowded yet. By the time we left, the place was getting filled up. Cute nature decor and nice chill vibes, but the floors were really sticky every time I stepped and tables were also very sticky. Portions differ depending on what you get, but ours were perfect for our group of 4. We got the grilled tiger prawn fried rice, lomo saltado, and a side of plain garlic noodles. The food was 10/10! Super flavorful and delicious! My favorite was the definitely the lomo saltado. The fries were so nice and crispy! Will definitely be back to try other food or just for the lomo saltado again! Omeli Kitchen specializes in Vietnamese-Peruvian cuisine and it was honestly so delicious. I never knew this combination was a thing until I had it at Omeli. Omeli has a really nice casual atmosphere with really attentive service. I liked how restaurant had really cute decor and lighting; perfect for a casual lunch or dinner with friends. My friend and I got a couple things to shared between the two of us. We started with the Coconut Vietnamese Coffee which was so delicious. I liked how it was not overly sweet. The Shrimp Spring rolls were super refreshing, I loved how creamy and rich the peanut sauce was. My favorite dish from the night was definitely the Lomo Saltado. The filet mignon was so insanely tender, juicy and flavorful with the most delicious sauce ever. The Lobster Garlic Noodles and Shaken Salmon fried rice were also top contenders! The menu and food was definitely vox and sup dupe. They had unlimited pho refills & many dishes similar. Ordered the garlic shaken beef noodles, shaken beef friend rice, & the beef fry slatado thing. Surprisingly even though the "base" of beef was present in all dishes, the tenderness of the breed changed across all dishes. Service was good and they were pretty efficient at transitioning between ordering, filling water, and getting the check. They were reordering the tables midway through & it was super loud LOL w/ screeching sounds since they were being dragged. The decor is super cute and nicely decorated. The tables were a little close though. Maybe it's cause they were rearranging super quickly but I could reach my arm over to touch the next table & their food. A very cute place to eat. Love all the flower decorations, especially the lighting :) We got the calamari which was delish and it was nice that it came with lightly stir fried veggies. We also got the loma saltado and the French fries had this sweet and salty taste almost like sweet potato fries and the steak was tender. The Cajun tiger prawns were large crispy and full of flavor and I couldn't stop eating the garlic noodles lol. Omeli Kitchen popped up on the hot and new businesses, so we decided to try it. Another Asian fusion spot added to the neighborhood. It was a few months ago when we came in for dinner on a weeknight. The restaurant is located in a strip plaza off State College/Chapman. The interior is small and quaint. The rustic decor gives off farm vibes. We were seated right away since it was not that busy. The server was friendly and attentive. We had the cucumber salad for starters. The sauce was a bit off. For the entrees, we opted for the garlic noodles with ribeye. The meat was on the bland side and not tender. The aji sauce was weak and did not enhance the flavor. The giant prawn garlic noodles were ok but not much better than the meat option. The garlic noodles tasted so plain with very little garlic flavor. On our first visit here, it was just average. I feel this is a copycat of the Asian-Peruvian fusion chain of restaurants that also serve pho. I'm sure by now they have improved on their recipes, but we didn't feel like it suited our tastes. read more

The service was a bit disappointing. We entered first yet the group after us got their service first and boone came to our table for alomst 10 mins of waiting. Couldnt flag anyone down bc they weren't available. Was such a bummer. I love this place and I would actually want to go if not every week, at least every month. If it was closer to me it would be every week for sure. Their food and their drinks are so yummy, I always have a hard time deciding what I want to order. I tend to order a lot so that I can eat leftovers for the week. There were some new items I didn't remember last time and it was so good. I definitely want to go back and try even more stuff I haven't had. But at this visit, I enjoyed the Pacific cooler drink, popcorn chicken, garlic noodles with shrimp, vermicelli with grilled pork, and calamari. Delicioussss and solid portions to make up for non-Westminster pricing! Only downside: parking is horrendous. But worth it! Wow! We ate the food 30 mins after ordering due to takeout and drive home, but it was still amazing. The grilled pork bun was some of the best and on par with some Westminster spots for me, with flavorful and succulent pork pieces. The fish sauce, though expectedly pungent, enhanced the flavor in a fresh and less common non-offensive way. Even the eggroll was delightful, crispy, and not overfried. The lomo saltado was so tasty, with tender steak cubes--I'm impressed. It tasted how I dreamed this dish might taste, but caveat is that I don't think I have ever had this dish. The creamy cilantro was superb, though my bf did say it was not as spicy as another Peruvian place he likes. Paired with the chili cucumbers, however, I felt there was no need for extra spice. The cucumbers with chili sauce was perfect and medium+ spice level, so I appreciated the especially large chunks to keep it refreshing. My friend liked her pork spring rolls, which appeared to be a spring roll version of the bun. Service was very patient and friendly without taking a long time to decide/order. Parking: the worst parking situation I have ever seen outside of LA or Diamond Jamboree. It was a Wed at 6pm, so with the gym, 99cent store, and many food spots and mild construction occupying maybe 10 spots, we had to go down Every. Single. Aisle. And then back down three more at the opposite end of the shopping center to find parking. I would just bring your patience or come odd hours. Overall deliciously crafted and prepared Vietnamese and Peruvian staples from friendly staff, adequate portions for the price, and terrible parking. Came here on a rainy day with a couple of my friends. Upon arriving, we first missed it but it's in a little corner in the plaza. I would describe this restaurant as an "upscaled" (using it very lightly) pho restaurant. All three of us ordered pho, I opted for the Pho Oxtail. Honestly the broth was made perfectly and they were not shy with the meat portion either. At first glance, the bowl did look smaller than what most pho places would offer, but I found myself satisfied in the end and did get pretty full. The restaurant feels like you're eating at a family or friend's house, which makes the food even more comforting. I ordered the House Fried Rice, egg rolls, calamari, garlic noodles with salmon, and garlic noodles with shaken beef. Food was enough to feed 6 adults and 2 toddlers, but I was a little shocked that for $9, the egg rolls were 3 medium pieces. I guess I should've read the description more carefully. I think I really like Vietnamese-Peruvian fusion and I'm very glad to have finally tried this spot! Omeli Kitchen is located near CSUF so it's the perfect spot for a group dinner. The portions are huge and the food comes out so fast! My fiancé and I had a weeknight dinner here and it was still pretty busy overall. There were so many items to pick from so it was difficult to narrow it down, but we got the Shaken Salmon w/ Fried Rice (new item!), Lomo Saltado, Cajun Tiger Prawn Garlic Noodles and the Pho Short Rib. I really like that the pho comes with unlimited noodles so if you're starving, this is definitely the item to get! Everything came out so fast which is awesome because we were chowing down immediately. Our favorite was the Shaken Salmon w/ Fried Rice and Pho Short Rib, but everything was super delicious too. Service was amazing, they were super attentive the whole time. Unfortunately they ran out of the drink that I wanted so I will have to try that next time. The Pho broth was lacking the depth of flavor that a Pho should have. It tasted watery...maybe because we went past 7pm and they ran out and just added water??? Ordered a good amount of food to try with some friends and omg, my favorite was the wontons!! The shrimp noodle was also so good and I ended up having to ask for extra sauce to-go as well. Pho and another viet noodle dish was apparently a must get here so we got those too. The server told us the pho has no msg and is flavorful by the way they make it. Good to know!! Their lychee peach drink was so refreshing too. I definitely recommend that drink. Service was fast and efficient; everything came out fresh!
