    Lomo Saltado

Came here for dinner. There's plenty of parking since it's located in the spacious plaza. There isna bit of a wait during peak times but it wasn't too bad when we were there. Staff is nice and helpful. I got the lomo saltado. Lomo Saltado- Beef is tender. The sauce is savory and there's a good amount to cover everything plus the rice. Potatoes have a nice crisp to them. Flavors and textures are on point. Great experience overall!

We ordered pick up and it was ready upon arrival. Pho broth tasted pretty good, shrimp spring rolls were fat and yummy, the filet mignon Mac n cheese was suprisingly good and smokey flavored. We also got the deja vu lemonade that was really good!

I heard lots of great things about Omeli so when I was in the area I had to stop by. It's a Vietnamese-Peruvian fusion restaurant so I was excited to give it a go. We got there right when it opened so we were able to get any table we wanted. I loved the decor in here, very modern and organic vibes. We ordered: Omeli's Spicy Wonton Chicken Saltado Pho chicken (free additional pho noodles upon request - yay!) Shaken Beef Garlic Noodles Wow...with the exception of the super dry chicken in the pho, everything was great! My kids especially LOVED the shaken beef garlic noodles and the chicken Saltado. Like I said, the chicken in the pho was dry and not good, but the pho broth was great. The noodles were hard when I first got the bowl, but if you let it soak in the broth for a bit, it will eventually soften up. I liked that you get extra noodles if you want more. Service was a bit lacking, our server never came to check on us, we had to wave him down every time we needed something. I give this place a solid 4.5!

Vietnamese-Peruvian fusion done right. Loved everything we ate here! Omeli's Spicy Wonton: I could eat this all day and call it a perfect meal. Super tasty chili oil. Lomo Saltado: Tender beef and well-seasoned. An easy crowd-pleaser. The space is gorgeous, filled with warm aromas and a bustling atmosphere. Friendly, sociable staff made the experience even better. A memorable meal from start to finish.

I was in the area and was looking for something to eat and glad i stopped by here, a Vietnamese and Peruvian fusion which is a perfect combination. I ordered the chicken saltado and the salmon garlic noodles were great dishes! The chicken saltado: chicken, veggies, fries were all well season and all the flavors were bold and absolutely delicious. I think it's worth the price and to try, the plate was full and presentation looks stunning. Salmon Garlic Noodles: Salmon was crispy and tender and has a little weight to it, garlic noodles was good. Adding hoisin sauce and chili oil gave it more pop in flavor. I'd say dinner was a success and definitely need to come back to this location for sure.

Found this spot after my boyfriend and I finished working out late and wanted real food ASAP. OMeLi Kitchen in Fullerton just so happens to be super close to the gym AND open late til 1 AM. I've already been here twice this month lol because it's genuinely so good, and now I've been bringing my family too. My favorite is their bún thịt nướng...the sauce is so good, and I love their spring crunch slaw. Honestly, everything we've tried has been solid. Good serving sizes, super satisfying, and I'm just happy they're open late.

The food here is amazing! I ordered the ribeye garlic noodles and the portion you get is big and it comes with a whole steak! The flavor is amazing and I love the green sauce that they pair with this dish. I also ordered a Taro coffee and it was really good too. Omeli is really cute inside I love the way it's decorated and it gives a nice calming vibe to enjoy a good meal. The staff here are friendly and quick.

Definitely a great spot to eat Vietnamese cuisine. Ordered Shaken Beef Rice Bowl- Vietnamese stir-fried tender filet mignon with red onion, bell pepper, jalapeño, mushroom, & green onion. Served w/home-made green sauce. This is one of my favorite dish. The beef was well seasoned, flavorful, juicy, and mouthwatering. I loved the special house green dipping sauce. I enjoyed my meal. The service was awesome and the staff always checking on me to make sure everything was good. Ambiance is really nice. Parking -plenty in the lot.

Took our family here and everyone loved it for the most part. Portion sizes on the popcorn chicken and calamari appetizers were very generous. We got the chicken saltado, beef macaroni stir fry (nui xao bo), lobster garlic noodles, and shaken salmon fried rice. Mixed reviews from the group on the lobster garlic noodles and shaken salmon fried rice. I liked the lobster noodles, but my in laws said the noodles were dry for their taste. We all liked the shaken salmon fried rice, but it was a bit skimpy on the salmon. The cucumber salad was meh, no one liked it. Overall, we got 3 apps & 4 mains for 6 people. Finished everything and the bill was $150. For the cost of everything these days, we were all surprised by how affordable the meal was. Since we live within walking distance, I'd be happy to come back here!

My friend and I visited again on a Thursday night. While there wasn't a wait when we had arrived, there were big groups that already had reservations later into the night to celebrate graduations. It was my reminder that this restaurant is a popular establishment for late-night Vietnamese and Peruvian food. The ambience is great for casual conversations and catching up with someone. Firstly, we shared the barbecue pork spring rolls ($7.95). These were two spring rolls, split in half, with grilled pork, vermicelli, and refreshing vegetables inside. I then decided to get the pho filet mignon ($16.95). The broth is noticeably sweet but still savory. I really enjoyed the filet mignon as it was lean; the portion size was also good. After trying the pho here, I'd rather order a rice dish next time as I don't prefer my broth to have prominent sweetness.

Grilled pork vermicelli salad. I transferred it to a bowl when we got home.

Ordered their buon thit nuong (lemon grass grilled pork, vermicelli noodles, lettuce, bean sprouts, pickle, daikon and carrot, cucumber, roasted peanuts and diced shallots served with sweet and spicy fish sauce) to go. It is still so good! I was pleasantly surprised that the container was packed with so many ingredients. My hubby and I were able to share one order.

We found this popular Vietnamese/Fusion restaurant while visiting Fullerton. We ordered the Shaken beef Garlic noodles, Spicy wontons, and Beef short rib Pho. The Shaken beef was savory and delicious. The noodles had that nice chewy texture I like and the garlic flavor was not overpowering. The beef cubes were very tender & flavorful, and the sautéed bell peppers, onions and mushrooms were cooked perfectly. The Beef Short rib pho was massive. They give extra noodles upon request, but the portion it starts off with is more than enough. The beef is tender and falls off the bone. The noodles were cooked perfect and the broth is very tasty. I feel the only sauce you need to add to your liking is Sriracha for spiciness. The Spicy wontons were okay and had a spicy sauce, but nothing special to it. The restaurant had a good number of tables, and nicely decorated. The service and staff were friendly and attentive, but they were also short staffed. The restaurant gets busy towards lunch time, but turn over seems fast. Can't wait to come back and try some other dishes. Next time you're in town, check this place out. Happy Nom Nom!

I was apprehensive to try the spot, but was very pleased with the quality of food I received. To me it's giving the same vibe as Vox with the very similar menu. I do like that this menu though has more than just a saltado and even has authentic pho and thit nuong. all the food we got was great. The filet mignon Lomo Salado have a lot of flavor and the fries were crispy. The pho was full of flavor and had a fair amount of meat. The prawn with garlic noodles had big prawns and portions felt fair. We also got the crispy calamari as an appetizer and it was good, but it was a bit on the chewy your side and especially after you bring it home to reheat. It's pretty chewy. Overall, great experience, quick service and quick seating and I will definitely come back. Parking can be a bit tight in the plaza, but there's lots of parking available.

Fifteen courses that are surprises because even tho there's a "template" of types of dishes, each one is ultimately the chef's choice. As each course was brought out, our waiter did an excellent job of describing what each item was and it's place of origin. Fifteen courses is alot to try to remember each specific dish so I decided to stay in the moment (after I snapped a pic) and enjoyed each one as we had them and talked about the flavor profiles and what we liked best about it. When my son had made the reservation he must have told them we were celebrating my birthday because in addition to the regular dessert course, our server brought me a birthday dessert which included green tea ice cream and a slice of matcha cheesecake. The full omakase experience was delicious and so fun! I told my son that it was like an advent calendar ~ each course we "opened" had us saying "ooo, how yummy" and left us with almost giddy anticipation of what we'd discover next. If you're looking for something fun and unique for a special occasion, I highly recommend the full omakase experience at Akashiro!

So we found this place and it was in the same vicinity and yay, they took reservations. Made reservations same day for a 18:30 seating. Service is impeccable. We were welcomed with hot towels, and this impressed me: when our server asked if we wanted cold or hot water. Love it! We opted for hot, better for digestion :) Our libation: Kubota sake - semi dry, rich, clean Our dishes: Assorted sashimi (16 pcs) - omakase. No soy sauce needed. Chef prepared with delicious flavors in mind. Tiger scallops - served in a what appears to resemble petrified wood, carved into a long boatlike dish. Hokkaido shrimp, cilantro oil, chilaquita (Peruvian onion relish), sweet potato crisp, smoke aji Amarillo (Peruvian yellow chili) Leche de tigre (rich emulsion of limes, Peruvian spices and chilis) - A complexity of flavors that comes together so completely. Eat with spoon. The delicate potato crisp finishes the bite with a little crunch. Udon picante - bell peppers, quinoa and 2 jumbo shrimp. Love the heat level. Comfort food at its best. Salmon parmesan - Nikkei sushi - seared salmon, parmesan bitter, eel sauce , arare, lime. Amazing. O toro sushi - the fattiest cut of tuna. Eat as is. Again chef prepared. No added seasoning required. Parri maki - fried shrimp, cream cheese, seared tuna topped with chimichurri, aji amarillo, chalaquita, ponzu. Food experience was enhanced by their impeccable taste in music. Super chill, soft beats stream the restaurant. With its perfect lighting too sets all the good moods for us. Don't wait for this fine dining experience of Japanese and Peruvian fusion. Note: when they ask if you want soy sauce, say No, thank you. It would be a shame to kill the taste of a beautiful dish with any added sauce. Kampai! Salud!

I was recommended this restaurant by a relative and they brought us here for dinner on Sunday! They have their own parking lot but there's very limited spaces if it does get busy. Walking in, we were instantly greeted and asked how many were in our party. We were instantly seated but there were quite a few occupied big tables around us. I couldn't catch our waitress's name but she was so attentive and nice to us! She would come ask if we needed refills, napkins, extra utensils, or extra bread and butter. After you order, you get complimentary bread and butter! They also have this green spicy sauce that you can dip your bread in. Between the 8 of us, we ordered 1 soup, 1 appetizer, and 4 main dishes! Everything came out so fast and was so tasty! You can even see the chefs preparing the food through the transparent glass. Food: Lomo Saltado (9/10): I absolutely loved this dish! The only thing I will say is that it was on a little salty for me but that's not something a little water couldn't help with. The beef was cooked so nicely, it was tender and the portioned nicely so it could be chewed with each bite. The grilled onions were for sure my favorite part. The onions soaked in all the sauce but were still crunchy which adds a nice texture to the soggy french fries. The french fries also soaked in all the sauce! There's also a side of rice to help make you more full! Tallarines Salteo de Carne (9/10): This dish was identical to the lomo saltado but instead of french fries, it was noodles! I equally loved this dish since they used the same sauce but with noodles instead! I had no complaints except it was on the saltier side but didn't mind it at all. Everything's the same as my lomo saltado review, perfectly cooked meat and onions! Jalea de Mariscos (9/10): This was our appetizer! It comes with a few fried items (fish fillet, shrimp, and squid). I think there are also Yukon potatoes but I could be mistaking it for another form of potato. The squids are fried in bite sized and they're so easy to eat! It also comes with an onion salsa that's so delicious! The salsa is sour so definitely be careful when dunking your food in there. I believe that this one comes in a half or full size!

I checked online for the amount it would be $59.27 for the 3 plates, when i tried to call in the order i was quoted 64, i asked why the difference as it should have been cheeper as i had an addition Convenience Fee: $2.49. Unfortunately just by the outside looks a little rundown lol...... Plus I have never tried Peruvian food or had any interest in it. Aji Limon is a popular Peruvian restaurant. (I didn't know about) Omg it was great..... excellent experience and service. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. (Looks nice inside) Our food was delicious Thank you... we need to come back for more. The place was packed after we left, line out the door.

We came in with our daughter, who is on the autism spectrum and has very specific food preferences and sensory needs. As we have done on previous visits, we brought food from McDonald's for her so that she could comfortably eat while we enjoyed our meal. We explained this to our waiter and let him know that we have always been allowed to do this in the past because of our daughter's special needs. Unfortunately, the waiter refused to allow our daughter to eat her food and repeatedly stated that his manager, Angel, made the rules. Despite explaining our situation and our long history as customers, there was no effort to accommodate us or show any understanding. What makes this even more disappointing is that we have been coming here for years and have spent a significant amount of money supporting this restaurant. Our family meals would often total close to $200, and we were regular customers who genuinely enjoyed dining here. It was upsetting to see that our loyalty seemed to mean nothing and that no consideration was given to our daughter's circumstances. Rather than make our daughter uncomfortable or cause a scene, we chose to leave. As parents of a child on the spectrum, we expected a little compassion and understanding. Instead, we felt unwelcome and dismissed. We are extremely disappointed by how this situation was handled and, sadly, after years of being loyal customers, we will not be coming back.

Review specific to waiter- Not food…read more Local place, for us at work, we often call and place orders for food, but there is 1 male waiter there that isn't friendly. So we deal with it and order and eat from there any way... Today, was a different story, we came in got greeted by the cook as we walked in, sat down, 10 mins later the waiter finally acknowledged us siting, after passing by us multiple times. We place our order, Thankfully the food came out, and was good (thanks Mr cook). 1 one of us at the table asked for the salsa, they normally give you with the food, He doesn't seemed to please and come back with 1 small salsa for 2 adults with large plates, non the less we didn't say anything we ate our food, and did not anything, at this whole time we finished out meal and our amazing waiter had yet to come see if we perhaps needed water or something, 10 mins later we stand up and go pay at the counter, with him because he was now cooking. . After terrible service from him we close the check, and he tells my brother "you don't know how to say thank you?" My brother hadn't really heard him so he softly said thank you and waived goodbye, he starts walking to the door and says "hey! " you don't know how to say thank you or what? For the second time... Again my brother just smiles and waives it off, no avoid any issues. We get in our car, and we see him walk outside, clearly hot and bothered, So now I get out the car to see what the deal is.... After watching my demeanor change... he changes his and with his attitude says ohh there's no problem here.... And we end it there... horrible horrible horrible service from that man.... IF YOU ARE HAVING A BAD day!! IF YOU HAVE the wrong attitude than your in the wrong business, don't be in the customer service area!! Most definitely not return... Food is great.... This particular waiter... not even close... Sorry higo.. this review is strictly for that.

We decided on ceviche mixto and seafood fried rice. Also cookies and ice cream to go. Inca kola and Perrier sparkling water as beverages. I don't drink regular soda but I drink inca kola occasionally cause it tastes too good! The food was very delicious in big portions. I prefer Peruvian ceviche over Mexican ceviche because of the less acidity in it. The service wasn't exactly the friendliest but very fast. I see this restaurant on DoorDash all the time. I will just order delivery next time!

Anniversary dinner last night was great as usual. Saw many one or two star reviews. Wondering…read morewhether owners have shifted their attentions to their new Seafood bar in Huntington Beach? Been a customer for over 25 yrs. Gotta say the aji green salsa is still good. But not as good as it used to be. Same yummy rolls. Ordered my usual since we're only here a few times a year now. Back when I was working in Bellflower, I was here every Monday for lunch. Tried most things in the menu. Ordered: Ceviche mixto- tangy, not spicy unless you bite into the yellow habanero. Which was so large I thought it was a bell pepper! A mix of shrimp, scallop, squid, mussel & white fish. It's still a fav. Tallarin mariscos- pasta with mixed seafood in a soy sauce based sauce. Off menu and still very good. Lomo saltado- hubby ordered this. Said it was good as usual. Unsure about other comments regarding toughness of meats. Decor has changed a bit. Half wall divides length of restaurant. Possibly to create a sense of intimacy in this one large room. We will still come back. Not for nostalgia but because we still enjoy the food here. There's a possibility previous reviewers have a misconception about restaurant life. Not sure they've notice the price of groceries in general have increased. Most entrees $20 +. Similar to other restaurants. Gone are the days of $12-15 entrees. Realistically need to consider prices of gas too. Cuz foods arrive in trucks. Also finding and keeping good chefs/staff is hella difficult. Hopefully the owners can balance their skills amount three restaurants.
