Not impressed at all!!! I had to check this place out because of all the 5 star reviews but left completely underwhelmed. A few of my friends come here as well so I figured I why not? The salon is very small and I wouldn't be able to bring all my girls here like the other salon which I frequent. But that wasn't the turn off, the girl who did my nails was so unfriendly, almost cold, she seemed really displeased to have to do my services and barely even looked at me. At the end of the service she said "you're done" and got up and left. Usually I'm asked if i like my color or if everything is okay? But not today. The service was just okay but not worth the 5 stars they have been getting, at least not for me. One thing is right, "I'm done Olivia", back to Athena I go! read more

My two problems with this salon, one no massage chairs which is not a huge deal, but was a disappointment. And two, the woman who did my nails worked on her own nails at the same time. Now for reasons I don't understand this review was originally taken down. It is very truthful though. And I would hope the salon's owners would focus on telling their staff about appropriate customer service instead of scolding me for writing a review. I wish I lived in Baltimore full time just so that I could keep going back to Olivias! This salon was recommended to me by two people who lived in the area so I took them up on their recommendation during the last week of my internship. I am SO disappointed that I only did this the last week I was there because the manicure I received here was by far the best manicure I have ever gotten. The attention to detail that my manicurist had was something I didn't existed. The entire salon was clean, light and airy. I felt so comfortable in this environment and everyone who worked here was so friendly. The price was incredibly reasonable ($30 for a gel). Just to know - they take so much time and care with your nails that my gel manicure did take one hour to complete. Make sure to plan accordingly! read more

I love this nail salon! I have such difficulties finding good nail salons, especially on the east coast. I was happy that Olivia opened a block away from my residence. The owners are fantastic: friendly, great customer service (they greet people by name...they remember!), and talented. I've tried several of the technicians and they are all good. Some are better than others with the massage portion and scrubbing portion of the pedicures, but the quality and outcome never disappoint. It is a smaller salon so less people so therefore, a more relaxing atmosphere. I really like that they use the large ceramic bowls for pedicures making it much more sanitary. They also offer organic gel colors, Bio seaweed. Their prices are reasonable and competitive. I'm there all the time. Love it! read more

Great experience. Love the interior. The pedicure chairs are actually more comfortable than the regular massaging chairs that you'd find in most nail places. (I've never been a fan of those chairs- for the record) Anna was very meticulous and gentle- yet gave me a great foot massage. Love that I'm not exposed to harsh chemicals. I really like that they use foot tubs instead of the jetted pedicure tubs. This really cuts down on transmission of germs and fungus that I imagine harbors in the other tubs.
