I absolutely love this nail salon. They're friendly and Michael and Anna are my go to nail techs! My favorite nail salon in the area!

I really held off on leaving this review because I felt bad. Lyly did my nails and she was so nice and she's going to be an amazing nail tech I'm sure, but she just isn't ready to be doing nails yet. She damaged my nails so badly. The acrylic application was very thick and messy all around the cuticle bed. When she attempted to file and clean down the acrylic, the electric file was pressed too aggressively into the natural nail surface, creating deep grooves and severe unevenness that thinned out my nail beds. The filing technique also caused painful irritation to the skin around my nails. It's been 3 days and my hands are still extremely sore and sensitive. I had not gotten my nails done in months and they were very healthy, so this was not previous damage at all. I also got a pedicure and noticed she used a worn nail file and retrieved tools out of a generic container rather than a freshly sanitized set. read more

I discovered Nail Spa while browsing Yelp for a nail salon. I initially went in for a pedicure and a new nail dip. As the nail tech was prepping my nails, I noticed all the sample nail designs and thought, Oh, she knows how to do designs. With that in mind, I decided to get acrylic tips instead. I shared a video with her showing a cat-eye French tip design I wanted. As she started working, I felt the nails looked too dark, but I tried to trust the process. She finished one nail and asked for my opinion. I asked if it was the final product, but due to a language barrier, she called over a man I believe is the owner. He explained that the nail wasn't finished and there were more layers to add, so I said okay. When everything was done, she executed the design perfectly, but it was much darker than I wanted. I had hoped for a pink design but left with a dark pink and greenish-looking nail. I tried to love it but couldn't, so I returned the next day to request a color change. Initially, the owner implied I would need to pay for the redesign, but when I explained that I had expressed my dissatisfaction the day before, he agreed to fix it at no charge. Because of this good customer service, I decided to give them another chance, but I opted for a different nail tech this time and requested Michael. During my fill, I had to point out areas where the nails weren't shaped correctly. Even during polishing, I had to ask him to go over spots he missed. I asked for blue chrome nails with glitter, and he initially said it was possible. However, after prepping my nails, he called over a coworker, showed him the picture, and then told me he couldn't execute the design. As a result, I left with plain nail polish. Michael was apologetic and said they'd have the chrome powder next time, but by then, the experience left me disappointed. The staff is nice, and I appreciate that they allow both appointments and walk-ins. However, there's something about the vibe of the salon that feels off, so I won't be returning. That said, if you're in a pinch and need something affordable, they might be worth a try. read more

I do not recommend coming to this place. Since I moved to the city I have only came a few times and the experiences have been hit or miss. For starters my daughter (10) got a pedicure and it was all of 10 minutes before her feet were out of the water. Not only did they not provide the proper service but her feet were completely dry! The manager wanted to be rude and refused to even coordinate with me on how to return the process. I ended up calling the cops as he refused to provide any services to recruit the issue. I will also be calling the Board of Health on them for sanitary concerns. read more

Tim made me very uncomfortable both times I visited. The first time I visited he did my pedicure but would not stop staring at me seductively and asking me personal questions. Every step of the pedicure he would make it awkward by staring directly in my face. I went back a second time thinking there was no way I would get the same person again, WRONG. He did both my feet and nails and this time was more weird than the first. He was tickling my feet, groping my hands, rubbing my feet and legs while staring at me, uncomfortably close to my face (I was getting a soak off at the same time.) Then was still in my face the entire time still questioning me. He asked questions like "How old are you" "Do you like that" all whilst giving me dirty looks and talking to the other employees. Getting your nails && feet done is supposed to be relaxing I was more on edge than anything! Because I am so very uncomfortable I will not be returning to this nail salon. read more

I asked for a clean up of my nails just cuticles and a file and he let me nails soak for 30 sec cut my cuticles in 1 minute and didnt even filling clean up my cuticles and then tells me to wash my hands and charges me 15$ read more

Nails are ok. I said no to cutting them down but with the noise it no shocker he didn't hear me so he proceeded to cut them down anyway. But part of the reason people go to get a manicure if the ability to relax and unwind and get pampered. This place is not the place to relax. There was chaos everywhere. Every employee had either FaceTime time or watching their baby from a monitor on their phone on full speaker phone !!!! Then midway through my time a group of young people came in. ( I assume employees) then they proceeded to sit next to me and have a conversation with someone on FaceTime again no headphones !! Then they proceeded to take their shoes off and have them all over the chair that clients sit, he has his toes all over the area where u hang your purse. And I mean his toes were so close to me I almost threw up!!!! On the other side a. Employee was getting her nails done. She had her shoes off and was in tick tock or watching some reels on full blast!!!! It was chaotic noisy dirty everyone was scattered. Shoeless employees everywhere. I'm trying to do more reviews of nail salons because I use other people's reviews all the time - especially for SNS. I was in from out of town trying to find a place for dip nails when I came across some promising reviews for Nail Spa. When I got there, they used a different technique than my past experiences - but I'm open to that because it seems every technician does it a little differently. They did the clear base last and topped it with gel. Unfortunately, by day 4 I already have a chipped nail. Usually, my dip manicures last a month plus. I wouldn't recommend this salon for dip manicures. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would. The best nail tech they said they had was mediocre. I brought a a picture for a simple acrylic pedicure. I specifically told her I needed it to be laid on clean and the polish to be clean . She applied the acrylic too close to my cuticle and tit was uneven on the length. She told me she couldn't give me 100 percent of what I asked it could only be about 80%. I was shocked. And she said I can't do your hands as if I would let her. read more

Friendly, clean, affordable, and quick! Despite there being a customer with every employee when I walked in, I was seen quickly. I was there for a wax, and it was virtually painless. I say virtually, because it was actually more thorough than where I used to go, so that skin had not been waxed before. They do powder/dip here too so I can recommend them to my coworkers who get that done. Looking forward to coming back for a pedicure. read more

After reading reviews and really loving Monica's work in a review that was recommending her. I want to head and made an appointment quickly with Monica and I'm so glad that I did. She's quick she's officiant's she's fun and she's friendly. I went into get coffin style nails which is totally out of my Comfort zone, but I'm glad that I chose Monica as my nail artist. I came in with a jacked up SNS polish job, chipping, peeling, uneven filing, you name it! And came out with BLISS. Winnie worked magic on my nails and was super honest with me about what would be best to keep my nails healthy. She did a fantastic job and even recommended a few colors for me. This Nail Salon is very unprofessional some of the nail technicians are rude and do rush jobs. I had red polish on my nails prior I came in for a fill in and the technician at table 16 was trying to put fresh acrylic over my red stained nails. When i mentioned this and asked her could she get the polish off first. She became rude started talking in her language and asking me "what you wanna do then" miss i want my nails done correctly! She then became rough with grabbing my hand. When i told her to stop grabbing my hand roughly she calls the owner. The owner then tells me she will do them. Worst manicure I have ever had the displeasure of getting. I went on a Friday for a mani/pedi. Pedicure was below average because the water was cold even asking twice to warm it up, the glove she used had been sitting on the footbath drying to be used again, and when I left my feet were still rough. The gel manicure I recieved was lumpy on some nails, the edges were not painted, and within two days I had 3 fingers peel off completely. When I returned to ask for a refund I was denied a refund and the person talking to me had a bad attitude and clearly wasn't concerned with how upset I was. read more

There is nothing less than 1 star if so that would have been my rating. I had a gel manicure on Monday. By Wednesday two nails had chipped. I called the salon explaining I was calling today because I may not be able to get there for a couple days. I got there Saturday and by this day four nails were chipped. I requested all nails be done again because something was obviously wrong with this manicure. He refused to redo the entire manicure. He redid two nails and brushed polish on the tips of the other nails. Well it has only been five hours since he added polish to the tips of eight nails and what I told him would happen has happened. A third nail has now chipped! I go on vacation Monday morning, have no time to go back to salon a third time and already have one chipped nail. Way to go Nail Spa!
