Located only 10 minutes from my home, they were able to accomodate me as a walk in first thing during a weekday. However, due to the intimate size of the shop they recommend (and I do too) a prior appointment. Located on the corner lot of a residential neighborhood, you can blink and miss it driving by. After talking with one of gals there my sense is that they have quite a few regulars with standing weekly appointments. Although it wasn't busy for me that morning, the feeling here is definitely that of the neighborhood salon where everybody knows everybody after coming here for awhile. What drew me here versus your traditional strip mall nail shop was an experience I was seeking: relaxing and not rushed, professional and with high quality results. I was very happy with my first visit, received a manicure only, but will definitely plan to experience the pedicure soon (the pedi spa chairs looked amazingly comfortable). The classic (not Spa) manicure was $17 without tip. Slightly more expensive than your strip mall shop, but please trust that the experience is well worth it. All of the employees were super friendly and welcoming to a first-time visitor to their shop, I'm hopeful this will be the end of the road in my search for a quality nail salon for some weekly pampering.

This was my first time ever visiting this shop. I was I interested in finding a nail salon nearby that didn't grind the nail bed. The vibe there was friendly and I was happy with my service - even scheduled my next appointment before I left. That was on Thursday and less than five days later I notice green coloring under each nails in the corners of both sides close to the cuticle! I have never in all the many many years of getting my nails done has a nail fungus and that includes me doing my own nails using Shellac and acrylic. I don't know if the tools used were sanitized, which I hoped they were. Unfortunately, I have no clue because this is a first for me. $85 nails, that I'm currently popping off and hands full of nail funguses! This has been the worst nail salon experience ever! Don't trust the hype - something is seriously flawed here. I'm disgusted and furious!

As the nail tech was prepping my nails, I noticed all the sample nail designs and thought, Oh, she knows how to do designs. With that in mind, I decided to get acrylic tips instead. I shared a video with her showing a cat-eye French tip design I wanted. As she started working, I felt the nails looked too dark, but I tried to trust the process. She finished one nail and asked for my opinion. I asked if it was the final product, but due to a language barrier, she called over a man I believe is the owner. He explained that the nail wasn't finished and there were more layers to add, so I said okay. When everything was done, she executed the design perfectly, but it was much darker than I wanted. I had hoped for a pink design but left with a dark pink and greenish-looking nail. I tried to love it but couldn't, so I returned the next day to request a color change. Initially, the owner implied I would need to pay for the redesign, but when I explained that I had expressed my dissatisfaction the day before, he agreed to fix it at no charge. Because of this good customer service, I decided to give them another chance, but I opted for a different nail tech this time and requested Michael. During my fill, I had to point out areas where the nails weren't shaped correctly. Even during polishing, I had to ask him to go over spots he missed. I asked for blue chrome nails with glitter, and he initially said it was possible. However, after prepping my nails, he called over a coworker, showed him the picture, and then told me he couldn't execute the design. As a result, I left with plain nail polish. Michael was apologetic and said they'd have the chrome powder next time, but by then, the experience left me disappointed. The staff is nice, and I appreciate that they allow both appointments and walk-ins. However, there's something about the vibe of the salon that feels off, so I won't be returning. That said, if you're in a pinch and need something affordable, they might be worth a try.

I was asked if I wanted my eyebrows done or if I wanted a manicure so it feels like the up-charge to a gel pedi was by design. I replied that I did not have time for any extra services and that I only wanted a regular pedicure. I was never given the price book and actually had to ask another pedicurist to see the book so that I had an idea of the prices (they range from $35 - $60). The service I wanted (and that I thought that I was getting) was the $35 classic pedicure. What I got was a $50 gel pedicure! I've never had a gel pedicure before. No bueno. I know the issues that nails go through with gel manicures and I have no idea what my pedicure will look like as time goes by which does worry me. I may go back. If I do, I will be absolutely clear about what I want.
