I kept it simple with a basic mani and pedi. While I was happy with how my manicure turned out, I noticed once I got home that my pedicure polish looked a bit uneven and clumpy. My niece's nails came out beautifully--very pretty and well done. The salon has been open for about a year. The ambiance was bright, vibrant, dainty, and elegant. Neutral white and gray walls were accented with colorful floral décor, and Eiffel Tower touches welcomed guests at the front check-in counter. In addition to nails, the salon also offers waxing, facials, massages, and eyelash extensions. Overall, it's one of the nicer salons I've been to, with reasonable prices. Unfortunately aside from my pedicure polish not being smooth, a nail from my manicure chipped two days later after my appointment. That said, I am unlikely to return. When I arrived, the nail technician, Linda, was doing her own nails. I had builder gel on my nails longer than I should have (which I didn't realize, as I'm not the expert). I was told my nails were healthy, yet two nails broke the very next day. I posted a short review that simply said "builder gel fail." I did not mention any names or details at that time. When I later called to discuss the issue after the owner offered a refund or redo, the salon manager repeatedly said, "What do you want?" in a rude tone while on speaker. She then abruptly put Linda on the phone without telling me. Linda also repeatedly asked, "What do you want?" and told me I had called too much, which is not accurate. I calmly explained that I wanted a refund due to the poor outcome and service. Instead, I was told to pick up a gift card and "give it away." I do not want a gift card. I wanted the matter resolved professionally. This is not my first issue. On 1/18/2026, I received white polish that appeared old. I texted and called for nearly a week (1/18-1/23) trying to get it corrected. When I finally returned (Linda is off Sundays and Mondays), the manager insisted I would have to pay $30 for a polish change or accept the same old color again. That is unacceptable. Additionally: The manager's demeanor is hostile and unwelcoming. Customers are spoken about loudly within earshot. Linda's sister had started and during appointments, she caused delays, because Linda kept stopping to assist her. My mother also experienced rude treatment during her recent appointment. I was asked to remove my honest review, which I will not do. I believe in supporting businesses that show professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, this establishment has repeatedly demonstrated the opposite.

The staff here are generally very professional. I do recommend you give them a try for your spa service needs.

Once again I said "no thank you" she continues to do her work and she's so distracted at whoever walks through the door -- and then she goes "can you wait here for 5 minutes? My customer came in" -- like what excuse me?....finish what you started aka my nails. So whatever she leaves and comes back and only does two layers of dip powder. And then she kept filing down my nails. I told her to stop but she kept filing them down..nails look horrible. I got a light color and light colors require multiple dips NOT to where you basically see my nail. I should have NOT gone and just kept my natural nails. Btw: she asked me 2 other times if I wanted pedicure and my eyebrows. I said, "no thank you" I went in for dip powder and was TERRIBLE... -Length was too short -- didn't ask for this short. Remind you that I walked in with stiletto shaped nails and it's not what I walked out with. -Didn't ask for almond shape -Two dips = too thin I'm not going here there's no recovery so now I have to wait for my nails to grow. I understood exactly what your technician was saying. I've encountered this same attitude while traveling in Thailand. My tour guide openly explained that darker skin is viewed negatively in her culture because it has historically been associated with people who work outdoors, while lighter skin is preferred. She then told me that my skin tone was "fine." It was uncomfortable then, but I was a visitor in another country and chose to leave it there. That experience is precisely why I recognize what happened in your salon. Your technician did not simply use the words "dark skin" and leave room for me to misunderstand her meaning. She told me that she doesn't like dark skin, said that it was part of her culture, and then specifically distinguished my brown complexion by telling me that my skin was "fine" while darker skin was not. Explaining the cultural origin of a preference for lighter skin does not make that preference less colorist. Calling it a cultural or linguistic misunderstanding does not change what was said to me or what it meant. I also find the reference to your employees having "yellowish Asian skin tones" troubling. Being a person of color does not prevent someone from holding colorist attitudes toward people with darker complexions. What makes this explanation particularly concerning is that, from what I have observed, your salon serves a predominantly Black clientele. If you operate a business that welcomes and profits from Black customers across a range of complexions, then those customers should be able to sit in your chairs without hearing that an employee doesn't like skin that looks like theirs--or skin darker than theirs. Cultural context may explain where an attitude comes from; it does not excuse expressing it to a customer. I appreciate that you acknowledged the incorrect polish, the attempted charge for a service I did not request, and the unprofessional way my concerns were handled. But I will not allow the most disturbing part of my experience to be explained away as though I simply misunderstood what I heard. I didn't misunderstand. I heard her clearly. I understood the cultural context. And I still found it offensive. I see the distinction you're attempting to make, and I don't accept it.

This place decor was beautiful and the shop looks clean and sanitized but it was definitely empty which raised my antenna right away. She charged me $165 for services from $75 - $60 for an overlay full set and $15 for the French Design. Then she charged me $90 for a pedicure? $60 for a basic pedicure and $30 for the French and the callous removal. The $60 for a basic pedicure where there wasn't any extras like hot towels, foot scrub, stones, milk and honey, no wax or intense foot massage. Just a basic water with no jacuzzi, cuticle cut, callous removal $15 and a dry towel and French design. I will say I did get what I paid for but it was okay.
