The male technician who did my pedicure was excellent. He was professional, thorough, and did a great job. I have absolutely no complaints about the service he provided. Unfortunately, the condition of the salon during this visit made it difficult to relax. I saw roaches crawling on the seating area, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. There was also a spider in the salon that several employees were loudly talking about and trying to kill, which made for an uncomfortable atmosphere while clients were trying to enjoy their services. The biggest issue for me was watching a scrub product spill onto the workstation. Instead of discarding it, one of the technicians scooped it up with his bare hand and put it back into the bottle. Seeing a product that is used on clients' skin handled that way was very concerning and made me question the salon's sanitation practices. This experience was surprising because it wasn't like this during my previous visits. I hope this was just an off day and that management takes these concerns seriously. The technicians are talented, but cleanliness and proper sanitation are just as important as good customer service. At this point, I'm not sure if I'll return, which is unfortunate because I've had good experiences here in the past.

I ended up finding Bernadette, an independent nail tech who works there--and she's been an absolute gem. While she does use a drill (contrary to what I originally searched for), she's incredibly skilled, gentle, and precise--so much so that it never damages my nails. Her technique is both efficient and mindful, striking the perfect balance between machine and hand filing. Initially, I was getting regular gel manicures, but Bernadette truly cares about nail health, and she suggested switching to builder gel (BIAB). It was a game-changer. Builder gel doesn't require soaking off and allows for continuous fills--meaning you can build on top of your last set without compromising nail integrity. Since switching, my nails have grown so long, strong, and healthy, and a single BIAB manicure can last me up to 6 weeks! Beyond nails, Bernadette is a wonderful person--easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and deeply caring. She also specializes in pedicures for clients with diabetes or other health conditions, which speaks volumes about her expertise and sensitivity to clients' unique needs. It took my technician TWO hours for the services and it was really just polish as I asked for no cuticle services and didn't have any polish to remove. I didn't even distract her by talking to her as I could tell she was trying very hard on the nails and I had family there anyway. Everyone ended up waiting for me and we didn't get to go to dinner with how long it took. The next day I called and asked for a refund. The lady on the phone knew we were leaving for Hawaii so told me she'd write in a redo required on the date we got them done. flash forward to me calling for the redo, scheduling, calling the night before to confirm (because it was an hour away from me), showing the current technician the previous pictures, and then her yelling at me when it comes time to pay because I informed her it was a re-do. it left me speechless and out of $100 (for the two terrible visits). luckily no one has ever spoken to me like that before so I didn't know what to do. No one in my group will be going back and everyone from my group will be advising others not to.

She uses a cane for mobility and arrived during a heavy rainstorm. The salon manager watched her struggle to enter the salon with her umbrella but made no attempt to help. When she politely expressed her disappointment, he responded that he was not her "doorman" or her "slave" and told her to leave. Her technician, Ann, kindly apologized and helped her to the pedicure chair, but the manager continued shouting that she had to leave. He then came into the pedicure area, pointed at her, and stated, "This is your last time here." No customer--especially a long-time patron with mobility challenges--should be treated with such disrespect and lack of compassion. I paid approximately $70 for a builder gel overlay manicure. Within just two days, one nail broke. I returned to the salon and they repaired it, explaining that it may have happened because my nails were short. Unfortunately, the problem didn't stop there. By day 12, several nails were lifting and flaking off. In my experience, a builder gel overlay should last significantly longer than that, especially at this price point. I returned to the salon before the two-week mark. Because they were busy, I told them I was fine with receiving a regular gel manicure instead of having the builder gel completely redone. I fully expected to pay something for the service, but I was surprised when I was charged full price despite the original builder gel overlay failing in less than two weeks. I didn't want to make a scene or put staff in an uncomfortable position, so I paid and tipped as usual. However, after I got home, I submitted a message through the salon's online contact form. I explained my disappointment, acknowledged that I had otherwise been happy with the salon, and stated that I wanted to continue as a customer. I simply felt that charging full price after a premium service failed so quickly was not a fair resolution. The salon never responded. To me, the lack of response was the most disappointing part of the experience. Nail services can occasionally have issues, and I would have been understanding if someone had simply acknowledged my concerns and attempted to make things right. Instead, I paid for a failed builder gel service, paid again for a replacement manicure, and received no follow-up whatsoever. I appreciated that there was no loud music or Televisions running everywhere. Peaceful. Cindy was friendly and very engaging. She listened to my concerns (recurring ingrown nails) and took the time to make sure they were gone. They are tucked in an area that doesn't get a lot of shopping traffic, so I think they may be unappreciated. It's not fancy, but it met my needs nicely. I'll be back for Cindy! Thank you.
