    The last time I was here was over a year ago and I stopped in because they needed to repair a chipped nail they had just done for me the day before. I had just spent well over $100. For some reason the polish chipped. There were many technicians there this day, yet when I told him what I needed no one helped me, no one offered to put me on a waiting list, I was treated so poorly and literally dismissed to come back another day. I swore that I would never come back but yet here I am. Desperate for a fill. I stopped in today and was served immediately. Well this is good I thought. She finished the fill and I asked her to file the tip just a little bit. She said fine. I go to pay and she charges me five dollars more because she had to file the tip. None of the other salons I've ever been to have ever charged extra for this so I questioned it because she didn't tell me this upfront. Had she told me it was extra, I probably would've just left them alone or at least been able to make a decision. Then she got mad at me and told me to go somewhere else next time. The rude service here continues regardless of the quality of their work. This time I swear for good, I'll never return. She charged me the five dollars extra well, that was her tip. I guess they're so busy at this mall they don't really care anymore about Service,. They barely speak to you. They don't look at you. They just get their job done and speak amongst themselves in another language. While they have the right to do it, it just doubles down on a lousy experience.

    Writing this review after having my nails removed today (5/20/23). I've been to this salon before and experience was with the owner was excellent! This review is for the nail tech whose name I do not know, provided service before I went on vacation and today's service. She sits on the first row behind the cash register in the second station. Before vacation: (5/6/23) Had nails/pedi done for my vacation. Pedi was ok could've been better for what I paid for & it wasn't a "regular" pedi. Against my better judgment, I agreed to her suggestion of acrylic tips and gel polish (I wanted my nails to last). The completed job was just ok. I didn't have the time to really examine her work since my flight was the next day. While in the airport is when I had the time to examine. My nails weren't cleaned underneath, I spent time picking out the acrylic, the polish looked good from the top, the sides weren't smooth and the acrylic wasn't fully to the edge. Just not a good job. Post vacation: (5/20/23) Had their basic pedi today and my nails removed today. The way she took my nails off hurt; please continue reading.... she suggests gel nails...my nail beds were sore and are still sore. She wipes my nails down with alcohol; that's when I felt the burning in some of my nail beds from where she ripped part of my nails off! I tell her my nails are burning; she says, "It's probably because you work with your hands a lot". (Btw, I'm a PT not a construction worker). Blaming me for her mistake and not even apologizing. She then asks me, "same color for your your nail?" This tells me she has ZERO clue about how to care for the health nails and it's all about the money. I ask for a manicure, easy right? Nope. All she did was clip my nails and tells me the price. I had to ask her to do her job see pics below for reference. If choosing to use this salon's services, I suggest NOT using the nail tech I referenced in this post. BUYER BEWARE!

    I got a set of acrylic nails with regular polish (not gel). The nails were done so sloppily and shaped asymmetrically, which more or less defeated the point of getting acrylics. The nail tech seemed unconcerned by how poorly shaped they were and I had to ask her to file them done more several times - and even then, they still looked bad. She also painted them sloppily and got paint on my fingers and didn't even try to remove it. I almost never ask nail techs to correct anything with my nails, but they were so bad I had to ask multiple times. She "fixed" them each time I asked but they still were messed up. After a while, I finally gave up and went home with awful nails. I've gotten my nails done here before and had a good experiences, but this manicure was so bad that I would not go back.

    My daughter treated me to a mani/pedi for Mother's Day. Pretty good service, I love my nails and toes. Gel polish on my nails and special spa pedicure for my toes. I don't remember the cost of a gel manicure, the pedicure was $37. Not too bad. The total was $159 before tips for 2 special spa pedicures, 1 gel polish manicure and 1 dip manicure. My only complaint was it took 3 hours! There wasn't a wait, that's just how long it took. We were grateful they didn't rush but 3 hours for a manicure and pedicure! It seemed they were that slow with everyone. If you have the time then I do recommend.

    No buffing or polishing after extension removal.

    I do not recommend this place. Went in for a full set. I have tiny childlike fingers that require small tips. I asked the tech to use small tips and she ignored me. One week later I lost a nail. The acrylic peeled and because the tips were too large, they were not secure, and so I was down to 9 nails 7 days later. I decided to have the nails removed because I wasn't happy with the original job and didn't feel confident in getting a fill in just to have another nail pop off a few days later. The same woman who put the full set on took them off and never in my life have I experienced anything like what she did. Instead of allowing me to soak the nails off this woman removed each nail manually! She clipped them down and started peeling them off. These nails are being held on by glue and acrylic and this woman forced each one off with such force that she drew blood! She cracked whatever little nails I had left and then sent me home with my fingers looking like I tried to claw my way out of a well. Don't believe me? Just look at the photos.

    In my search of finding a nail salon closer to home I stumbled across this place in the mall and because my phone was dead I couldn't check reviews prior- big mistake! On the outer perimeter it didn't look as dirty and hoarder-ish as it is. This place was really messy, sadly I didn't start noticing this until I was ready in the pedicure water. The chairs are outdated and uncomfortable. If this place was not in Columbia mall you would've thought you were in a very trashy area! The nail tech was extremely nice - I can not fault her there. She moved me to a pedicure station where I could charge my phone with my charger and everything! However she can NOT polish! I'm a very particular about my polish being neat and it was not at all. It got to the point where I got tired of telling her what to fix because I really just wanted to get out of there. I still tipped her for her effort because she did everything I asked to try and make me happy but it just wasn't there. I did also tell her she needs more practice polishing and using gel polish because her skills are not up to par. Avoid this place at all cost.

    Shopping and running behind for an event. I stopped in for a quick fill and man was I screwed over. I wish I could remember the tech name because she was horrible. I could tell she was going to be an utter mess as she picked the drill up. So I asked her how long has she been doing nails. "10 years". No way in hell! She was looking and holding the drill as if it was a monster with 20 heads...Fast forward, one week later my gel fill-in is cracking and the polish is literally melting off; which began on day two. If I had the time to go back for a redo I would. I will never go back. The only reason this place got a second star was because another tech was so friendly and helpful with feeding my newborn daughter (while I was getting the worst nail job ever) and even burped her. Awwww! But the tech who was doing my nails, awful! I shall never return and neither should you! Darn it, jacked up!

    Reasonably priced and very good to my daughter (we took her for a finger and toenail polish as part of her 5th bday gift) The gentleman who did her nails was very nice. Only $10 for both nails and toes to be polished!

    I left the salon feeling bad I had never feel mistreated like I feel today the person did a really bad job and when I told her she keep saying was my toes who are ugly etc I almost cried. I will never go back here and I hope people don't visit this salon. The nail polish she did was a mess so I asked to take it off and nobody offered to do it for me any of the employes here seems to care about it. She keep telling me go anywhere else don't ask for me again and so.

My aesthetician was Ciara. I had my eyebrows, lips, under arms and Brazilian done. At soon as I walked in, I can smell weed on her, especially as her hands were close to my face, and I smelled it on her breathing on me. But that's not the worst. It felt like I was the first customer because the wax was really hot. I had mentioned it to her several times that it was hot and she even told me that she noticed it so when she did my eyebrows but she continued to do my eyebrows and upper lips. She even put more wax on top even after she said that she notice it. I did keep on letting her know that it was still too hot. She asked if this was the first time I've had wax done, and I told her - no. I've been getting waxed for the last 25 years. When I got to my car to check my face, I had large noticeable burnt spots under my eyebrows, both left and right and over my upper lip, both left and right. I went back to the store to show the manager, Francesca Moreira, to complain about the burn spots from Ciara. The manager told me that it looks a little red; and when I told her to look closer and that Ciara actually burnt skin off, she told me that she was not certified to say so or not. It does not take a genius to see that skin was taken from the hot wax. There's a huge difference. I'm not sure how she is the manager of a team of aestheticians, and not certified just to see that Ciara, or other aestheticians, actually took skin off when Ciara waxed my eyebrows and upper lip. I had to ask to talk to the Regional Manager, Tony Badolato, but she only offered to provide me an email. I had to call back several times because she provided two incorrect emails where it was undeliverable because it didn't exist. Finally, the front desk provided me with the correct one. It took 3x times to get a hold of the regional manager. I had to go to work with burnt scabs on my face. I cried upset over the whole experience. Bottom line, I will not be coming back to any European Wax location. This experience destroyed any expectation I might have with any other aesthetician they might have on staff or the managers they hire who don't have training or is certified in the service they provide. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I did get reimbursed but not until after I was asked to provide pictures for proof by the Regional Manager. It was a horrific experience. Never again.

The room is small with pretty purple walls and also very clean. She plays Zen type music so you remain relaxed and is full of light convo to keep your mind off things. Both front and back are included and believe me it's not as painful as you think. She is great and will make you want to make this a routine visit. I'm excited to go back and refer lol. Must be nice to sit in your palace funded by bad business practices and the labor of others. Speaking of the waxers, Christina is absolutely amazing and the best waxer I've ever had. She is efficient, minimizes pain, and produces clean and lasting results. She should be paid what the quality of her work deserves and she should be treated better.

If it very minimalistic, homey and comfortable. Most importantly, it is very clean! In fact, the kind gentlemen at the front desk was cleaning when I arrived. Cleanliness is definitely very important for a waxing business, so I appreciated that! The wax room was very spacious and clean. Madi was an absolute sweetheart. She was very professional and the wax experience was amazing! She had me in and out in no time, which I definitely appreciated on this specific Saturday, because it was snowing and I wanted to get off the roads ASAP. Amazing business, amazing staff, amazing experience! You should really patronize this business. I assure you, you will not be disappointed!
