It took me years to convince myself to stop shaving "down there" and have it professionally done. I did my research, came upon the Yelp reviews, got my guts up and decided that with so many great reviews now was the time and Erica Loren was the person to see. Upon meeting Erica , I knew that this nervous newbie to waxing, (a.k.a. -me), was at the right place. Erica's warm and welcoming personality quickly put me at ease, and made what I thought was going to be a very painful experience a breeze. I'll be the first to admit that after giving birth to 4 kids and some major abdominal surgeries and being overweight, my body type is very far from being that of a run-way model. Erica walked me though the entire process and made this very modest almost 50 year old feel so comfortable, What on earth took me so long to do this??? I'd give her more than 5 stars if I could. My husband and I just moved to Maryland from New York City and I've been searching for a new esthetician for facials and waxing. I've tried some local spas and was not thrilled. A co worker of mine has been seeing Erica at her DC location and told me she had a spa in Columbia as well. She seems to be extremely booked because it took two weeks for me to get in. My first time, Candis did an excellent job with my lash extensions! It took a bit over the recommended time (closer to 2.5 hours instead of 1.5) and my eyes were a bit irritated the next day, but nothing a few drops of Visine couldn't fix. I loved the final product and they lasted close to 3.5 weeks! I was also happy that she answered all of my questions and even gave me 4 lash brushes because I told her I was traveling and she didn't want me to lose them. The second time, I had Roxie do my lashes. I was a bit nervous to have someone different doing them, but my girl SLAYED it! It took less than an hour and a half, my eyes weren't irritated at all, and they look BOMB. I cannot tell you how many compliments I've gotten on my lashes. Also, the studio is extremely clean, both Candis and Roxie play great music while they work, and they are so nice and easy to talk to. One recommendation, save their phone numbers because each time I've come to the studio the door has been locked. Just give a quick call and they'll come let you in! For the price and quality, these ladies cannot be beat.

I went in for a brow waxing appointment ((that she was able to make happen VERY last minute)) and asked a ton of questions, which she happily and thoroughly answered. She explained every step of what she was doing, and we chatted through the appointment like old friends. I ended up asking about brow tinting, and because it was so affordable, I got that too.
