A Brazilian is when they wax it all off and she did so phenomenally! Erica is super gentle yet quick and efficient. She is a petite and friendly young lady and she makes you feel very welcome. It is located in the M&T building by Columbia mall. It is elegant and calming when with it's decorations. And very clean! The room is small with pretty purple walls and also very clean. She plays Zen type music so you remain relaxed and is full of light convo to keep your mind off things. Both front and back are included and believe me it's not as painful as you think. She is great and will make you want to make this a routine visit. I'm excited to go back and refer lol. If you call and get voicemail leave a message she is sure to callback and is uber polite. And that $15 you pay for the membership, better do it in January only because it's not for a year from when you started, it's due every January. So my membership that started in September still has to be renewed in January for another $15. I am not renewing just to find out all the other ways they plan on screwing me over. The worst is the managers/owners are completely absentee and make the waxers do double duty at the front desk and take on the brunt of frustrated customers. Must be nice to sit in your palace funded by bad business practices and the labor of others. Speaking of the waxers, Christina is absolutely amazing and the best waxer I've ever had. She is efficient, minimizes pain, and produces clean and lasting results. She should be paid what the quality of her work deserves and she should be treated better.

I scheduled my appointment online and snagged a last minute appointment for a Saturday morning with Madi. I arrived about 15 minutes early for my appointment and she was able to take me right away. I paid for my services prior, which I appreciate. Nothing like a bottle neck at the front desk, with all your patrons trying to pay at the same time. The decor in the Beauty Lab is beautiful. If it very minimalistic, homey and comfortable. Most importantly, it is very clean! In fact, the kind gentlemen at the front desk was cleaning when I arrived. Cleanliness is definitely very important for a waxing business, so I appreciated that! The wax room was very spacious and clean. Madi was an absolute sweetheart. She was very professional and the wax experience was amazing! She had me in and out in no time, which I definitely appreciated on this specific Saturday, because it was snowing and I wanted to get off the roads ASAP. I made a last-minute appointment for a quick manicure, and I got stuck with Vivian, who gave me one of the worst manicures ever. It felt like she didn't want to be there at all. All I wanted was my cuticles trimmed and nails shaped--no gel, dip, tips, just my natural nails. That wasn't her vibe. She skipped the buffing block and did a lousy job filing and shaping. I even had to remind her to make my nails the same length, which she huffed about. When I washed my hands, she asked if I wanted clear nail polish. I said no, and she said, "You're done." I had to ask about the warm towel and hand lotion, and she brought those out all begrudgingly. I paid in cash, and she just walked off when I asked for change to leave a tip. i really try not to leave one star reviews. But this, was BAD.... It's a long one, so here goes…read more this location isn't far from me, and my normal person that I normally go to at a different location didn't have the time that I needed. So I decided to go to a different location, which is this one, which is a little bit closer to my house. and I click any "Sugarista"- and the time I needed didn't pop up. Then I proceeded to click the individual to see the time that I needed. I finally clicked on Liv (I think that was her name) for 525pm. I made an appointment at 5:25pm, because that is when I can make it after work. A couple minutes later I get an email saying my appointment has been rescheduled to 5:20 PM. OK... so I leave work and I rushed there from Timonium to Ellicott city, in traffic. I called the store to let them know that I'm gonna be five minutes late... Which would be 525, my original booking appointment... and a man answers the phone. He tells me no problem, but I can be taken whenever. I actually get there at exactly 5:20 PM. I get into the store and I don't hear or see anybody. I decided to wait a couple minutes and nothing. I decided to call out into the store for somebody, and I finally got an answer. This is 530pm. The owner of the store calls me, Toshi, telling me that my Sugarista is on her way. I go to the bathroom, I come out, and another Sugarista is at the front desk, who I thought was my Sugarista. But it wasn't. It was somebody else. I was informed that my Sugarista was not coming. This is 540ish-pm at this point. I'm still waiting. I've been waiting for 20mins. Then the Sugarista tells me that she's completely booked and she can take me at 6:30pm if I don't mind waiting. So I drove 45 minutes from Timonium in traffic, waited 25 minutes, and then I would've had to wait another 45 minutes to get serviced?!? Heck no. I walked out. On top of that, the owner, Toshi, calls me from the store phone, apologizing. In that message, she gives me her personal phone number. She proceeds to tell me how sorry she is for the inconvenience, and that she will give me a gift card for the full balance of the service. I tell her I normally go to the location in Perry Hall, but the girl I normally go to didn't have the time that I needed. She said that's totally understandable and Once she figures out how to send me a gift card, she would. She sent me a gift card for $25. My service costs $65. When I spoke to her today, she said that she wasn't going to send me the full amount for the service for another store, but cover the cost if I decided to come to her store.. after this experience, I don't think so. Even though Ellicott city is closer to me, I will be going to the one in Perry Hall, which is roughly 45 minutes away. I do think it is a little untrustworthy that she would tell me all of this on her personal phone and not the work phone so that it doesn't show up on my account. 0/10, will not be going back. But will 1000% be going to Perry Hall which is 40 mins away from me.

Complementary tea and water is available upon check-in and freshwater is also available in the actual healing waters space. There is staff to give you cold towels, and tend to any questions that you have during your session. There's also an option to extend past the 90mins which I recommend. I also recommend that you arrive 15 minutes earlier that is not a suggestion. Your session time starts once you book so you can factor in undressing and getting ready for the healing waters space which is also coed.
