Decided to treat myself to a full day here and had an amazing time. First, I have to say that pretty much all of the workers were so friendly and welcoming. The place was spotless and felt very inviting--with plenty of room in the locker room (the sauna being an added bonus). I started with the 90 minute healing waters (and while I do think $50 is kind of pricey for this, and I wish there was a way to include like a 30 minute session if you're getting treatments done) I will say that the experience was nice! It does feel a bit warehouse-y due to the ceiling and the back window view of a parking garage, but it was spacious and the eucalyptus steam room was amazing. It wasn't too crowded because I was there mid day on a Tuesday, but I could expect it being a bit crowded on the weekends. I also do like the fact the healing waters is co-ed so you could make it a date with your partner! Then I had a back to back 60 min massage and 60 min facial with Falon, and it was excellent! Perfect pressure, so relaxing, towards the end I felt like I was floating. The perfect relaxing experience. After, Falon grabbed me some hot tea and I relaxed in the post-treatment relaxation room for a bit. I absolutely LOVE they give you a heated neck pillow for the relaxation room and also a brownie when you leave! Have been looking for an alternative luxury spa experience since the Four Seasons in Baltimore is SO expensive, and this place honestly blew FS out of the water in terms of overall price, amenities, and hospitality. Will 100% be back!

My sister, niece, daughter and I had appointments at The Pearl Spa for an afternoon of services. I'm not sure if they tell you when you make your appointment, but you should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your start time, for time to check in & get changed. You get assigned a locker in the locker room. There are bathrooms, showers and a sauna. The locker room leads to the healing waters area. Our first service was the salt cave. Since there were 4 of us and there are 5 chairs, we had the salt cave to ourselves. They give you a cold eye mask to put over your eyes while you relax for the time period. It smelled wonderful inside and was peaceful for the most part. There was a loud sound that could be considered like white noise, but I think it was a mechanical noise. There's also like a ding that sounds every so often. Once our time in the salt cave was over, we had 90 minutes to utilize the healing waters. We started with the hot tub, which also has a waterfall which is great to sit under and loosen up the stress in your shoulders. We then sat in the Eucalyptus Stem Bath and followed that with the cold plunge. You get out feeling so revived and amazing. We didn't get into the restorative water pool, we sat in the lounge chairs and just relaxed. Lastly, inside the locker room, there was a sauna. We sat there for the last 15 minutes to end a great time of relaxation. Donte, who is an employee in the water area was absolutely amazing. Donte exemplifies customer service. He also congratulated each of us after we got out of the cold plunge. He made sure we whatever we needed, from water to the blanket/towels. There is a lounge area in the lobby with very comfortable couches and chairs, along with teas and cucumber water. We enjoyed our experience. There is also a spa with massages, manicures, pedicures and other spa services that we plan to check out the next time.

I've been to the Pearl Spa once, for my nephew's birthday. He turned 19, and I wanted to treat him to some self care. It was decently priced to access the healing waters, and the staff was highly accommodating. I loved the lavender scented sauna. You can pay an additional fee for a robe and slippers.

The ambiance is great (as far as I could see on a Friday morning). The place felt calm, and there was music playing all around. I loved the water/tea stations. I went for a manicure and pedicure. What I liked: the music, my actual nails ended up looking good, the front desk staff were super friendly, I got a small tour of the healing waters area and a brownie at the end. What could improve: the place, especially the nail area could be cleaner (some of the pillows were stained, the trays rusty, and there was dust on the lamp shades; it just didn't feel super clean). The person doing my nails was friendly overall, but was very particular about the way my hands were placed and kept moving them with an annoyed demeanor. Her body language just made it seem like she was a bit annoyed, but her voice never showed it. I am returning to try the healing waters, but I will not be doing my nails here again (also it is super expensive compared to other nail places that are cleaner).

Ooo chile, I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. If you want a pampering experience where you leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, The Pearl is the Place. They give you a plush terry cloth robe and guide you to a locker room with showers and sauna where you can leave your belongings. You're then guided to your room. My masseuse was the best ( I wish I could remember his name:( ) and his hands were absolute magic. The massage with the hot stones was an experience that I must repeat. The essential oils used are not only fragrant but add to a relaxing feeling. It was my first hot stone massage and I found myself dozing off and before I knew it the massage was over but not the experience. I got my robe back on and was guided to a dimly lit room with lounge chairs. Here I was offered cool glass of water flavored with mint and lime and allowed to relax as long as I wanted. I was so relaxed I dozed off again. 30 minutes later I woke up and finally prepared to leave. This is a great place to have a girlfriend day. The place is set up so you can go to common areas chat, eat, and just continue to chill, be still , and enjoy your day. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. You feel like they're really invested in you having the best experience you've ever had. I need a do over real soon;)

The Pearl is a gorgeous facility. No, not just because they utilize my favorite colors and smells like a spa that I cannot emulate at home but because I can tell they are trying. I did not like their version of Healing Waters and was completely taken back when I saw it was a small room that consisted of a hot tub and a pool. There were also a salt room which requires you to reserve prior as well as two different types of showers that were in the open and a plunge pool. There was also a hot sauna I believe in that area as well. It doesn't seem very personal to me and I was uncomfortable so I did not stay to partake in those activities. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. My masseuse was elated to be working there and informed me when she first did her walk through, she was on board. I don't believe I would return to The Pearl for their spa services because it isn't very personal. The windows surrounding the Healing Water look out upon unfinished grounds and which reminds me of a motel.

This is a beautiful facility with full day spa services. While they are pricey, it's the only place I will go in this area for a pedicure.

Save your money. This used to be a first class spa. Poor management, staffing, and unsanitary conditions. Very disappointing and sad.

There is a magic within at a place called the Asian Healing Spa and his name is Tom. Tom is a…read more massage therapist whose literally helped me regain control of my life again where I am no longer totally debilitated by pain. I am being 100% honest when I tell you that as therapeutic healer, Tom is a true gift to this world . A uniquely-gifted practitioner, he has this rare (almost unworldly!) and extraordinary ability to intuitively discern the areas in the body where physical pain exists and HEALS it! I started seeing Tom once a week for a 1-hour massage several months ago upon the sudden onset of debilitating [muscular] pain in my back and my neck. It was destroying my life and my quality of life, and I was helpless to it ; Unable to find relief, l was at its mercy every single day . My sister (who is an acupuncturist) referred me to Tom and encouraged me to schedule an appointment with him. She said "He can help you. You have got to experience a massage with Tom at least once, Emily!," and so that's what a did. Initially, when she told me the business name, my first thought was "is this a legit?!"(feeling a little apprehensive). But she, similarly to Tom, also has "IT" when it comes to the ability to heal and I knew she wouldn't steer me in the wrong direction. And so, with an open mind and a hopeful heart ,off I went for my first massage with him. And she was right. He DID help me, and he continues to help me manage my pain every time i leave from an appointment with him. The part that Tom has played in my healing has been enormous and I give him a LOT of credit for helping me regain control of my life again ; A life where I am no longer controlled by my pain. A massage with Tom IS that "little magic pill" for a PAIN RELIEF (and the "pill" that we always hear doesn't exist!) Only it DOES exist for muscular pain relief and perhaps in one of the most unlikely places you'd expect to find it. I have wanted to write this review for such a long time now,..and I should have done it sooner....I struggled to find the words to verbalize my experience and the huge GAINS I've come away with from weekly appointments with Tom. I've achieved relief so powerful it has literally changed my life and afforded me with QUALITY of life once again. I was a little taken aback and disheartened to see ANY negative reviews posted about this business and I felt defensive for Asian Healing Spa upon first reading some of those comments . But, I realize now,... Not everyone is going to be capable of appreciating the gift that is in this place and it's healers. If you're looking for a run-of-then-mill bougie, ordinarily upscale spa where you will pay a fortune in exchange for minimal therapeutic gain,....and, if you cant hold space in your heart and have an open mind (without preset expectations) of what you think a "massage" or a spa SHOULD BE,...and, if you're going to go in there judging the structure of the massage rooms, the decor and the fixtures,....Then, it is highly unlikely you'll be able to appreciate the magic and the uniqueness this place has to offer us. You go on girl and head to that bougie spa down the road and rob yourself of the chance to experience the miracle. We are SO blessed to have this place (and it's insanely talented practitioners!) available to us locally within an arm's reach. On the contrary, If you are spiritual in nature, you will love this place. If you CAN be open to the unique Asian massage techniques utilized here, for the sake of healing and understand that whichever technique the practitioner utilizes with done so bearing your best interests at heart (walking on your back for deep lactic acid buildup- is AMAZING!) , you are going to fall in love with this place (as I have) and will think you stumbled upon one of the seven wonders of the world.

I took my mother here for a Mother's Day massage. She got the combo package (30-minute body massage…read more+ 30-minute foot massage) for $90, which we paid for upfront. Before the session, they gave us a form where we could choose the pressure level, mark areas to focus on, and note any areas to avoid, which I appreciated because it made the experience feel more personalized. When we entered the massage room, the therapist did not want me to stay in the room with my mother, even though there were clearly two seats available inside. At first, they said, "Someone is sitting there," which made no sense because it was only me and my mom in the room. I asked who would be sitting there, and they went quiet before repeating that I couldn't stay. I explained that my mother does not speak English and that I needed to remain there to help translate if necessary. Instead of showing understanding, the situation became awkward and uncomfortable right from the beginning. As a customer, especially when bringing a parent who cannot communicate easily, I expected a little more patience and professionalism. Despite that interaction, my mother did enjoy the massage overall. It was her first professional massage, so she did not have many expectations going in. The therapist did pay attention to the areas she marked on the form and seemed attentive to the pressure and focus points she requested. My mother said she felt relaxed afterward, and I was happy that she at least enjoyed that part of the experience. Unfortunately, the ending completely ruined it for me. After the massage ended, as we were walking out the door, the therapist stood in front of the door and blocked me from exiting to ask for a tip. I understand tipping culture and I normally do tip for good service, but making customers feel pressured or physically stopped before they can leave is extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. It left a very bad final impression on me, especially after the earlier issue about me staying in the room to help my mother communicate. Overall, while the massage itself was decent and my mother enjoyed it, the customer service and handling of the situation made the experience feel uncomfortable and stressful rather than relaxing. For a place that provides services meant to help people unwind, I think they should work on making customers feel respected and at ease from start to finish. We will not be returning. I would only come here if I spoke Chinese, came alone, and don't mind tipping bad service. ‍

I'm shocked to see Yelp publishing only a handful of the all FIVE STAR reviews that this spa has…read morereceived. I aim to change that with this review. As a long time Yelp member and previous Yelp Elite, I only review establishments that I feel are worth reviewing. First and foremost, this is my go-to spa for massage therapy work and relaxation. While there are lots of fancy spas in the area, none of them deliver the personal experience that I've been fortunate enough to enjoy at Breathe Spa. The lobby is comfortable and cozy, with products available for purchase on display. You truly feel at home. When you enter the massage rooms at Breathe Spa you are greeted with a truly soothing ambience, complete with comfortable tables (they are kept warm, which is heavenly), tranquil music, and subtle mood lighting - it's easy to get lost in the experience. The Spa's owner, Rachel, is very caring and strives to make every clients experience a good one. You can tell how much she cares for her clients by the kindness she displays and the thoughtfulness she exhibits in every interaction. As far as massage therapists go, she's hands down one of the best I've ever encountered. As someone who exercises 6-7 days per week, my muscles get truly sore and stiff. If Rachel (or another of her therapists) are able to provide relief for me and work the wonders that she does, then I can almost 100% assure you that she'll be able to help with whatever ails you. So how much does it cost? In my opinion, prices are reasonable for what you get. While not the cheapest spa in town you can expect to get great value for any service or product you purchase. When it comes to services such as these I find it's worth it to spend a little extra money in order to receive a significantly better overall experience from someone who is an expert at their trade. I don't frequent anywhere but Breathe Spa for this reason. The CBD products that are available are top notch quality and ideal for people with muscle inflammation. I personally recommend trying their CBD oils if you get the chance. So what are you waiting for? Book an appointment now! You won't be disappointed.

I'm so disappointed and really upset that my appointment I scheduled intentionally on my birthday…read more(I get a long massage every year as a little treat for myself) was cancelled a couple of hours prior to the appointment by text from the therapist. I've never messaged this woman so I didn't even see the text right away because it was from an unknown sender. I planned my day around this appointment and also chose this spa over two I have already been to that had better appointment times in order to try this one out. I'll make sure to pick a reliable massage spa moving forward. Posting proof of this happening from another customer so I know this isn't just a one time happenstance.
