This Columbia Mall massage place is great! It's a tad noisy and you can hear the Mall noise - but that's ok! I've seen several different massage therapists here and they've all been good - but of course have differing techniques. I finally found "my guy" and I won't tell you what his name is because I don't want to share. (He seems to be very popular!) The reason this place seems to have good reviews is that the good reviews are from years ago before the management changed. It used to be pretty good, but absolutely everything has changed, for the worse. 1) The new tables are cheap cheap cheap -- little more than vinyl wrapped around plywood. I've bought massage tables, and when you order them you can order anywhere from 1"- 4" of foam padding. I don't know where they even got these from. The guy was pounding my spine into the table so hard and I left in so much pain, that I was in pain for months. 2) THEY DO NOT LISTEN, THEY DO NOT CARE, AND THEY BARELY UNDERSTAND ENGLISH. I told him several times he was hurting me and he did not stop. THIS PLACE SHOULD HAVE THEIR LICENSE TAKEN AWAY. 3) The tables were crammed so close together that it was not sanitary. People were coughing so close to my face it was a miracle I didn't catch Covid. Anything to make an extra buck. 4) People who have the power to hurt and injure you through negligence, any type of health worker, should be required to speak and understand basic English. The tables they use are not even actually massage tables; they could be used for maybe energy work if you put a thick blanket or quilt over them but nothing else. The people who are being injured here (most of them deleted) need to get together for a class action lawsuit and/or to have this place's license taken away. I will not got back, ever, because after management changed, it is awful, and potentially dangerous. read more

My buddy and I came here after stopping by the Starbucks within the mall. This place is located on the second floor, and it is staffed by friendly people. We decided to check out what they had to offer. We opted for the 20 minute massage. There was no wait for the masseuse, which was great. There was a bit of a communication problem due to the language barrier. However, I was able to communicate that I wanted a deep tissue massage. She understood, and we gtbthe massage started. It was a relaxing massage indeed. She did a very good job, and I left the place feeling like a noodle. After a long week working at the hospital, this was the highlight of my Saturday. This is the place if you're looking for a strong massage. I'm always somewhat injuring myself when playing tennis and sometimes I just need a strong massage to put me back in place. Although, it was a great massage there's just too many distractions. First, I could hear one of the masseuses telling the customer that she required a minimum 30% tip, and then when that was over, I heard some sort of argument between the workers that proceeded to last for about 5 mins. I received a hour long massage for $60 What a great deal As for the environment it's inside the mall so it's a bit loud. Bring headphones if you want to completely zone out. There are about eight massage beds in one room, no dividers because you keep all your clothes sans shoes. When I first arrived he said come back in fifteen minutes. I honestly don't understand how this place has 4.5 stars (as of 10/3/2021). They were not receptive as to what we wanted. We asked for foot massage and wound up getting a body massage... they didn't ask if we had any tender spots or if we felt there was a spot we needed work on. They applied entirely too much pressure and they even had headphones on so they couldn't hear us when we told them to lighten the pressure. It was torture! I have rug burns on my back and the person I had applied entirely too much pressure to my neck muscles, so much that I was extremely dizzy when he was done... I'm never going back! read more

I did a 5k two days ago and didn't prepare for it. I have been unbelievably sore so I tried to schedule a last minute appointment with my masseuse but she was booked. So I went to Columbia Mall to Natural Relaxations because I knew they accepted walk ins. Lee met me at the desk. I told him that I wanted a 30 min session ($32). Here you leave your clothes on and place your shoes, purse, and jewelry in a bin. The bin then is slid under your bed. Also know that it's an open room with about 7 massage tables. There were two other people currently being worked on when I came. I told Lee that I prefer medium pressure. He said okay and that he would check in throughout the massage. The 30 min massage includes body and reflexology. The massage was feeling so great, after about 8 minutes, I lifted up and said, "Brother, you're doing great. Is it too late to make it an hour?" He said no. I had no idea how much it would cost but I didn't care. When I tell you Lee worked.....Lee worked. From the base of my skull, to my neck, and every back muscle, he did it. He paid special attention to my spine from top to bottom. The pressure was excellent. He also gives a good butt massage with his forearms. My glutes really needed it. For the feet, he must have a fetish cause he was in there. Great foot massage. I literally got my feet done right before I came here so I think I got special treatment cause my feet were smooooooth. Lol. Overall, I was completely satisfied. I felt so relaxed and loose. I did not have the tension that I had walking in. If you are looking for something hassle free come here. Remember that this is in the mall. Although they have their own inside space, if people are loud walking pass, you will hear. Also, although two other people were in the room, it really was quiet. Lastly, this place is fairly inexpensive in comparison to your Massage Envy, Hand and Stone, etc. My 1 hour massage was $60 including tax. Lee definitely earned his tip. So stop on by. Well worth the money! Sandy got into my tight muscles and coaxed them to relax and release tightness. Amazing! I am used to my weekly chiropractor visits and spa massages. This was my first time getting a mall massage and it was great! Sandy worked on the same spots that my chiro and LMT focus on and even had some same techniques for like half the price! Today was my 2nd time here. I forgot the name of the therapist today but I told him I wanted a deep tissue massage and that's exactly what I got. It was a nice massage...average, nothing spectacular but nice. If that was all I had to say, they would have gotten 4 or 5 stars from me today but unfortunately my therapist ruined the visit at check out. For a 90 min massage, the fee was a reasonable $90 plus a couple of dollars for tax. I paid by credit card and left an 18% cash tip for my average but not spectacular massage. This is a no frills place where there are rows of tables, no privacy between tables, no water offered after the massage, no relaxing spa music, no candles or soft, relaxing lighting. Additionally, the therapists carried on multiple and full conversations with each other the entire time. It's a basic mall spa, not the Four Seasons Hotel. As such, an 18% tip is very generous. 15% would have been adequate. But this fool, I mean therapist, had the nerve to tell me it wasn't enough! He pointed to a classless sign that indicates they expect a 15-20% tip. Well, I told him I gave him 18% but he said he wanted more, he wanted 20. I should have just left but I gave him a couple more dollars and said that's your 20%. He then said he wanted $20 which is a 22.5% tip by my calculation. I think he got up from his bed this morning and left his brain and manners at home. I will not return. read more

Being harassed by all the staff at the end to tip more money was not a pleasant experience nor was the lady who was rude to my minor sister who gave her what she could for her tip. And who continued to be rude after I gave her additional money for the tip. They were still not happy with that amount we ended up just leaving at that point. Best bang for buck massage around. No appointment needed so you can just walk in whenever you feel. They offer chair and table massages, and customers keep their clothes on. Location is inside the mall which can be louder than what I want, but the therapists are very accommodating and skilled so it's fine. For the money, you won't find better. read more

A very decent massage parlor inside the mall. It is located on upper level, near Sears. It is clean, neat, uses tables to lay down (my personal preference is reclining chair, but oh well!), good choice of music. The outside noise didn't disturb me at all. I had an older lady named Cici (might spelle something esle). Personality I love Chinese places such as this because you get a decent massage that goes beyond having elbows drilled into your joints for a very good price, and excellent feet massage. You are going to have your language barriers as most people working there speak very basic English. Be prepared to use your body language to communicate your preferences. At least I suggest you do so you can get what you want. I am certainly not shy when it comes down to my massages. After all they are not cheap, and I want to enjoy them. My advice to the business would be - use larger pillows for leg support. Consider using towels for the face instead of the napkins. All in all, it is def. going to be the place where I go at least one a month! P.S. Hubby approved as well, and he is a picky one! read more

This place must have changed owners and has really gone down hill. I was in recently and got the worst massage of my life. The guy kept working the same neck muscle for half hour and even though I asked him several times to massage somewhere else, any where else, he would not. I was in extreme pain for days. They do not speak English here and also have no idea how to give a massage. It was very crowded and the guy was huffing and puffing in my face and it was a miracle I didn't catch Covid. They also put in new cheap massage tables, so many crammed together, and they have no padding on them, just hardwood covered in vinyl. When he crushed my back into the table it was so painful because the cheap tables had no padding whatsoever. Good way to damage someone's spine. Cheap, yes, if you don't mind a damaged neck and back. Not sure if they're run by the same company. I like how you can just walk in and get a reasonable price for a message.
