I once had a stiff shoulder. The masseur helped me a lot by concentrate his massage on my stiff shoulder and neck. I remember that I gave him a $20 tips! read more

No frills, no vibes but when getting a foot massage you can easily fall asleep b cause they are good at the massage!! didn't necessarily feel a trigger points activated in my body as I normally would during a foot reflexology massage, but I did enjoy the massage. $45 minutes for 45 bucks! Can't beat it! read more

I really wanted to enjoy this, but the service was poor. The massage was extremely light with no pressure, almost like just rubbing the surface of the skin. When attempting to ask for more pressure multiple times, a rude glare was the only response. The masseuse also burped multiple times including on my feet. This was not reflexology as advertised, I wouldn't even call it a massage. Left feeling like time and money were wasted. Would not return or recommend. read more

Massage was okay but sometimes they start off with the woman and end up with the man they should tell you if they're going to do that

Happy Feet Asian Reflexology Center is a little gem in the historic Catonsville. These folks offer soothing reflexology massages that help your mind and body find balance. They're open Monday-Saturday from 10AM to 9PM, and Sundays until 7PM--perfect for unwinding after work. This is my third of fourth time visiting Happy Feet! Just say I left feeling better than I came! I highly recommend! I urge you to call or make an appointment before you go. read more

This is a hidden gem and everyone needs to patronize! I was gifted a trip here and OMG they didn't DISAPPOINT! You're greeted as soon as you walk in the door, offered a light snack and water. Once they start your feet are placed in a foot soak for about 10 minutes(loved this). They will adjust the pressure according to your liking but to have someone work on your feet for a while 30 minutes is Devine! Afterwards I felt like I was walking on air as I didn't realize how much stress could be released by a great reflexology session. I can't thank my friend enough for this much needed treat! read more

Came here for a 30 minute foot massage. Atmosphere: big room with 3 stations, then a second back room. Considering the price, I wasn't expecting anything more. so that's fine. I also wasn't expecting my masseur to take phone calls while giving me my massage. Quality: For reference, I've had numerous foot massages, including one in Vietnam, so I know what to expect. Without fail, all prior foot massages have had me ask the masseur to reduce pressure. Not this time. This was actually 30 minutes of someone rubbing lotion into my feet. Zero attention to any pressure points (ironic, considering there was a pressure point poster on the wall). Now, having someone rub lotion into your feet for 30 minutes feels "nice" enough, but I am confident that there was zero therapeutic benefit to this experience. read more

When I say RUN don't walk to get a happy feet massage. This place isn't luxury at all, but you know what it is? Effective. If you have knots in your back I assure you that the employees at happy feet will work on them tirelessly until your time is up. I have always called ~10 min in advance and been able to get an appointment which is great because this is normally a spontaneous decision. But $50 for 45 minutes of work? You can't deny that it's a great deal. One recommendation is if your back is full of tension (like mine) be prepared to guzzle water afterwards or have flu like symptoms for the next day as the toxins move out of your body. read more

OMG! These folks "go to work on Myra feet". I have no problem treating myself to pricey "luxury" massages but sometimes you just need to get the job done and Happy Feet is my go to for maintenance. I've incorporated bi-weekly visits to Happy Feet into my "self-care" regiment. It's just something about having your feet rubbed and they do a helluva job! After leaving, I feel like my feet are too good to walk on, and I want to put them up on a shelf! Long story short, treat yourself! Love on your feet and most importantly, love on yourself! read more

I get we're all in hard times, but there's absolutely no reason to demand tips from your customers. If you need to adjust your prices, fine. But don't complain to your coworkers in your native language in presence of customers once you are mad about no tips. You were paid in full. This tipping culture is getting out of hand. Also PLEASE wash your massage towels that you apparently reuse. EWWW. read more

Let's start with the pros. Came here with my sister and mother for a Mother's Day treat from my father. All three of us were able to get our massages in the same room at the same time. You have the option to spend more time on your feet or back. I opted for 15 minutes of foot massage and 45 minutes of back massage. My masseuse did what she had to do on my back/neck, the area where there was a lot of knots and tension. She put her whole body in applying the right amount of pressure, and focused in on those tight places. I didn't have to pay, but the price list is affordable. Cons: it is a storefront massage parlor facing Frederick Road. Our massage was done out in the front entrance when you walk in with very little privacy, and you can hear the street traffic. There were a few people who walked in to inquire about appointments and gift cards that interrupted the experience. My masseuse also took a few calls while giving me my massage, but she gave me some extra time to make up for the inconvenience. When you are done they don't offer any water or give you time to relax before jumping to the next appointment. For the quality of the massage and price, I would come again. read more

Happy Feet Asian Foot Therapy has two locations. This review is for the Catonsville, Frederick Road location. Happy Feet Catonsville has been a staple for over 10 years at this location. With that said, they have quite the following and you WILL need to make an appointment ahead of time. I randomly came in on a whim after a friend told me that it was the best foot massage she had ever received--she's Asian and literally has been everywhere for all things massage so I got in the car first thing on a Saturday morning and headed straight there for their 10:00 AM door opening. The parking lot is small and was already filled! I was so surprised but walked in and was placed on a waiting list. Since they don't have much room inside, I waited in my car, and they came out to get me when it was my turn. I am SO GLAD I waited. It was intense yet calming. Harsh yet relaxing. Overall, I felt relieved. Since then, reflexology has been one of my favorite services to try out in different areas but honestly, Happy Feet is the BEST. In addition to foot reflexology, they also have hot stones and acupressure point massages for head and back. If you reeeealy like rough, they offer deep tissue too. read more

Wow! Been getting messages at high-end places for a decade or so, and forgot how much better places like this truly are for our bodies and health. My husband booked me a suprise Mother's Day 20min foot message and a 40min back message. So glad he did! Wow, I felt like I went to a true healer! She found problem areas and worked very hard. Best message I've ever had! You must try them if you are serious about the power of message. The set up is a little odd and simple. You walk into the foot message room, there are private rooms in the back for body messages. So glad I didn't let the interior/exterior or set up deter me! The prices are unbeatable! Will be back for sure! read more

Best most relaxing experience I've ever had I go bi weekly sometimes weekly I'd highly recommend this place

Called 30 minutes in advance and welcomed in- only had 30 minutes, had best shoulder/neck massage, Peter was so kind and modified pressure immediately to optimize. Highly recommend. read more

My spine really hurts and it's been 4 hours. The massage was agony. Never going there again. He beat me up and it really hurt the whole time. I asked several times for him to be more gentle and he did not speak English. His female partner told him (or so I thought) in Chinese to be more gentle but he never eased up. He did not do my arms or anything just my actual spine and butt (lots of butt!) and feet. Pain getting worse despite using Aleve and ice packs. NEXT DAY still in agony. He pushed hard on my spine and beat up my back. Crying in pain. Have to go to the doctor tomorrow. read more

OMG...This was Fabulous!!! I will definitely be a return client..Prices are amazing...my back n foot massage was the best I ever had

No boughie high priced massage can touch these guys at Happy Feet ! Wow just had the best massage of my life and I've had a lot .... Peter at Happy feet is - if you haven't gone yet - do yourselfa favor and make an appt - the one in Catonsville is way better than EC - and ask to go in the private room . The poor guy worked so hard on my pretzel ass knotted up hurt back n arms- he felt so bad for me too - he could feel the level of pain I'm in. Highly recommended 5 stars Thank you I'll be back soon read more

Honestly was disappointed in my massage here. It was extremely painful and I'm actually in more pain now than when I arrived! I get massages very frequently, 2-3 times a month for sports injuries. The massage was also unbalanced with too much pressure on my legs and spine, one-sided, not enough on the neck. The man was also sick while massaging me and I'm really hoping I don't catch whatever he had. read more

I honestly don't know how the ratings for this place is so high. I got the couples back massage for 60 minutes, and I'd say they only really massaged my back for half the time. The other half they were doing my legs and arms. I am confused since I asked for a back massage. The massage itself was mediocre and felt like they weren't putting much effort. They didn't apply an lotion to me but they did for my partner. The massages seemed inconsistent and weren't the same at all even though we were right next to each other. I could also feel the worker's leg hair on me and I just felt uncomfortable the whole time. I wish I didn't even go because I didn't feel relaxed at all. I wasted $120, and I will not be recommending this place to anyone. read more

If you're looking for a basic foot massage, you'll be just fine here. I will say, i am pretty disappointed. As a massage therapist a few door down, i thought i found a nice to relax between clients but i was mistaken. I expected reflexology with hot stones as advertised but instead, it was just a basic foot massage with hot towels that felt rushed. I enjoyed the 3min foot soak, aside from that, I am disappointed considering i practice reflexology with my clients so i know the difference. read more

I've been to both the Catonsville and Ellicott City locations so am familiar with both. Both facilities offer outstanding service. The employees are super friendly and helpful, and you really get your money's worth.  If you haven't tried acupressure/reflexology before you're in for a treat.  I can recommend both locations without reservation. read more

I mean who doesn't love getting their feet massaged and especially at a decent price? They have many options for you to choose from 30-60-90 minute massages. All massages start with your feet soaking in a wooden bucket and then the massage commences. They do a through massage of both feet and then they flip you over and massage your back. Two things to note. 1. You do not need to disrobe for this massage so it's no fuss, no muss! 2. Make sure you call in advance to schedule an appointment even if you call an hour before because they do get busy and only have 1 or 2 people on staff at a given time. read more

This place is fantastic. You will feel so good afterwards and so relaxed. You will wonder how you survived before coming and and promise yourself to now wait so long before coming back again. An hour long massage is an unbelievable bargain. It starts with a foot soak and while your feet are soaking they massage your arms and shoulders. Once your feet have soaked they work on your feet, ankles, and calfs for a fantastically long time (approx 40 minutes). As the work on one foot/leg and it begins to feel great, I'm always amazed at how the other leg begins to feel "not great" in comparison. It makes you realize that you've been living and dealing with pain/discomfort that has been building up slowly over time.... And you realize that all you had to do is come to Happy Feet and let it all melt away!!!! After they have worked over your feet you lay down and they work on your back for about 10-15 minutes. This includes some pretty deep tissue massage on the back, glutes, I-band and hamstrings. As a person who loves my regular visits to my chiropractor, I find the back massage almost as satisfying as my chiropractic adjustments. One of these days I want to schedule Happy Feet and the Chiropractor on the same day. I might die of relaxation and contented feelings of well being. The ambiance is calm and humble and makes everyone feel at ease and welcome. There's no need to remove any clothes other than your shoes and socks, so this is a fantastic option for people who feel uncomfortable stripping down to underwear for a traditional massage. Try it. You won't be disappointed. read more

Big time AGREE with the other reviews! A few comments to add: 1. Very sweet "mom and pop" shop in the heart of downtown Catonsville 2. Perfect setup for two clients -- there are two big amazingly comfy massage chairs in the main room, so it's really ideal for couples massage or a couple of girlfriends...not sure where they would put you if there were more people! 3. Excellent neighborhood to enjoy walking around before or after the bliss treatment! Ideal for a "day out". Happy Feet hit all the marks for me -- a sweet local place run by two professionals who treat you with kindness. Nothing fancy, just straight up MASSAGE in a unpretentious setting -- you pay for the service without funding someone's decorating budget or high end admin! Happy Feet, I *will* be back! read more

They advertise on their website reflexology. I went for a half hour foot massage expecting some reflexology, but all I got was a foot massage. It was disappointing. read more

Looks like the LA trend of foot massages have found its way into Catonsville via Happy Feet Massage. LA boasts of $15, hour long foot massages, but you'll never find that anywhere on the east coast. However, $39 for a 45 min foot massage and 15 minute back rub is better than any deal you'll find in the area. Note that credit cards are accepted, but there'll be a $2-4 surcharge depending on the base price of your massage. At Happy Feet, the masseuses are able to accommodate whatever pressure you are comfortable with. I believe it's run by a Chinese family; they provide information on Chinese pressure points and what each area on the feet signify. The foot massages here put licensed massage therapy establishments to shame. read more

I'd been traveling for business for a few weeks back to back and so was pretty fatigued. I was searching for massage places near my hotel and this was the closest one. It's your standard no-frills Chinese massage place. There was nothing fancy about this place though it was clean overall. It was cheap and full of customers. I got an hour-long massage and honestly, I felt like a new person afterward. The masseuse was male and I explicitly asked for a "strong" (deep tissue) message as I have a pretty high tolerance. Some of my muscles were extremely tense (namely the neck) but he was terrific in working them to the point of relaxation. I was definitely sore the next day but it was worth it. I have been to a few places that are somewhat nicer in look and aroma for the price (in other cities) and that's the only thing keeping this place from getting a 5-star. read more

Visiting the west coast a few times and receiving the best 20.00 foot massages had me looking on yelp for something local. I think I found it, it's just not as cheap. For 40.00 you can get a wonderful foot massage. I opted for 30 mins for foot and 30 mins for back. I didn't want the foot massage to end. I will be returning strictly for the foot massage. The back was a little too rough for my taste and not focused. Thanks Happy Feet. My feet are happy! read more

Had a fantastic experience here! Felt way longer than an hour and they let you customize how much time is spent on feet vs back (and "back" ends up truly being a full body massage). Highly recommend Jerry! Would definitely go back. read more

Great price, but they beat me up. Hardest massage ever. Woke up to MASSIVE back bruise. Be careful if you cannot tolerate pain. Bright side, they gave a nice cold water bottle after. read more

Not your typical massage. Wayyyy better!! You stay in your clothes and they put a towel on you. It's reflexology and they're amazing. Each masseuse has their own way and all are great. I always leave in a state of bliss! read more

I have gone back here a good amount of times now and have grown to love this place! I simply had to find the therapist that fit more with my preferred style.
