Welcoming pedicure area, comfy massage chairs, complimentary water and snacks

Pedicure (my 2nd one of my life) was amazing. Our eldest son took me for Father's Day so I took my wife for a Moms day pampering

Because of circumstances beyond my control (Covid) I have been forced to find a new nail spot. With open toe season right around the corner this is an important mission. The Coco Nail Bar is now there front runner. I had a 10am appointment and they got me right in. My tech's name is Julie, she did a good job on both my hands and feet. There atmosphere was very upbeat and friendly. I will be back.

Dip full set with tips!

Mom and I tried this place recently. The pedicure was a great price and included callus removal. They took their time and really ensured that we had the best experience. The price overall I thought was great and affordable where I got a full set of dip with tips pedicure and eyebrow wax for $100. I will come here again! Only negative is that I got a few cuts but I was probably moving too much lol.

I came here to get acrylics and my toes done for homecoming, safe to say I will not be returning. The staff is very kind and the salon itself has a comfortable feel, even offering you complementary snacks, however the nails themselves came out horrible. I asked for gel and they did not come out looking like gel whatsoever, they are extremely clumpy and I even have little chunks of the gel under my nails. The acrylic gel was put too far above my cuticle so my nails already looked grown out the day I got them. I was also cut multiple times as she was filing my nails. The toes did come out good though.

I don't typically get my nails done. It just tends to snowball into a constant money-suck to keep maintained. But I was feeling festive with the holiday season and decided to check them out to get a Christmas-themed gel polish manicure. Never before have I had someone work some meticulously on my cuticles and shaping my nails. Also, I watched her painting technique and it was much more detailed and attentive that any other place I've tried in the past. I was impressed. I'm even considering going back to get some sort of NYE-themed gel polish manicure in the next couple of weeks.

These were supposed to be the same color :(

My friend and I came in here a week ago, hoping for 2 pedis and a mani for myself. It was sort of last minute, and a Saturday, so we decided to call around to shops in the area to see if anyone could possibly squeeze us in any time that day. The lady who answered the phone at Coco said they could take us at 12:30, so we made appointments for then. When we showed up at 12:30, she had us pick a color and said it'd be a short wait. No problem, it's a Saturday, we can hang out for ten minutes. Thirty minutes later, my friend leans over to say that we should probably just head out. I agreed, but ask we shifted to put our coats back on, the same lady came back out and had us sit in the pedicure chairs. Alright. The chairs were quite nice, I'll give them that, but we then waited another 15 minutes for other technicians to show up and start the pedicure. The pedicure was good, though my friend noted there wasn't a massage at all, which is pretty standard I thought. Also, my technician was digging in the cuticle of my right big toe pretty intensely, but was covering it with her finger pretty much the whole time. I figured out about 30 mins in that she'd cut me, and was trying to cover it up; however, since it hurt, I obviously knew. After that, my friend and I split as I reluctantly went for the manicure. I should've just left, but I really wanted my nails and fingers to be the same color. The manicure was fine, but she did cut my pinky cuticle. The gel came out pretty lumpy; definitely not the greatest manicure I've ever had. The cuticles are kind of messy, though they haven't lifted yet (I'll give them that). Meanwhile, my friend was charged twice for her pedicure. She had to come back in to inform them, though she did get the refund the next day or Monday. Throughout the manicure, I watched as people walked in and asked if they could perform services, or called and asked. The owner never turned them away, just gave them a time to come back. All business is good, I get it, but after about the third call, I was very confused. They were clearly overwhelmed. At one point, some ladies who had scheduled an appointment walked in, and the owner seemed almost mad they had shown up. They then also had to wait 30 mins after their appointment time to be seen. It just seemed a little off the rails schedule-wise. Once I finally left, and was laughing with my friend via text about how that was a disastrous foray into a new nail salon, I got a glimpse of my finger and toenails in the sun...and they're completely different colors. The whole reason I paid to get my nails done in the first place. Anyway, I never have written a review for a place. I'm also not incredibly picky with service; I've worked in service, I know most oversights tend to be because someone's having a bad day. Like I said, I'm fine waiting 10-15 minutes after my appointment time. But this was just...so much. It's been over a week since this experience, and I've been debating whether or not to make a review, but I'm reminded every time I look at the scab on my cuticle. We won't be back.

I started going to Coco Nail Bar about a year ago and I've never looked back! My tech is Sophie and she is the absolute best! She is sweet and professional!

Very bumpy gel manicure and paint on my cuticles. NOT THE BEST JOB!

While visiting my friend in the Baltimore area, I wanted to get a mani/ pedi. The place is ok, a little crowded with tables too close to one another. Not as nice compare to other salons near by. My biggest complaint was the way they rushed their customer as if it was a factory. I know every salon does it when it's busy but this one is so obvious. Especially the owner, she was so rude and wanted the nail tech to put me to the next table so she could finish my gel manicure so they can push another customer. Overall, not the greatest since my nails didn't even turn out all that nice. I went there just to relax after a long stressful day. NOT TO BE TREATED THAT WAY. PLEASE TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO FOR A PLACE TO RELAX.

Have you ever paid for something, with tip, and then kicked yourself about it? Yeah. This was way overpriced especially considering the poor quality and skipped steps. I've had enough salon visits to know what happens when you get a pretty straightforward service. Cons: Didn't use lotion or massage hands until asked and this was after the polish was applied (and still wet). No cuticle oil. No opportunity to wash hands after trimming. Didn't clean nails at all (not under or without a brush). So much red polish on my fingers and cuticles that my fingers look like they're bleeding. One nail is darker than all of the others because there was some kind of dust on my nail (maybe because they weren't buffed) and rather than remove it nail tech kept painting over it. Didn't pluck strays after eyebrow wax. Didn't trim eyebrows at all. Literally rushed me from manicure table to drying table then within seconds (with still wet nails obviously) back to have eyebrow wax. Didn't let me pay before nails were painted. Pros: Nice facilities. No wait. Lots of color options. They may offer you a drink of water. Maybe. Cost with tip: $35. Not worth it when I had to go home and finish everything myself--especially since my hands looked worse coming out than when I walked in!

I asked for the green nail design & ended up with this. It is beyond awful & a sloppy job. She even added some random silver to my one hand. On top of that, they had none of the colors I asked for, took multiple tries to finally find one they had. I shouldn't have had to pay. Never going here again. They had no nail color options in stock that I wanted. The inside is very messy and looks very old.

Update 2/27/19 (new pics taken by Leslie added!): I just wanna be best friends with Leslie and be as cool and kind and talented as she. You know how in Legally Blonde, the beauty salon is hallowed ground of positivity and allthethings where you go to feel fabulous and awesome and ready to face the world? Coco Nail Bar is one of those places. Go ye fourth to Coco immediately and feel the fab.

Proof of how the polish is falling off
Kristy M.

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of my gel manicure. I got my nails done on Thursday and exactly 7 days later the polish literally is falling off of my nails. This is unacceptable, Gel nail polish should last at least two weeks. If you would like your polish to stay on do not go to this nail bar. I am very very disappointed

I have moved on to another salon. Several months ago I got my nails done, two days later 2 of my nails were coming off at the edges. I came in after work to get my nails fixed, but they were "busy". Mimi was on vacation, and Leslie was there. She told me to come back the next day. (Which was fine) I asked if I could make an appt for 6pm. And she said "No, come in at 1000" I told her I couldn't because I work full time. She then said to just wait for Mimi. This salon is good, but you have to get Mimi or Leslie. I don't know if they have more techs now (because I haven't been back) but at that time, only 2 or 3 people could do acrylics.

When we got there, we were greeted by the receptionist, and it was relatively empty in there. We had both booked for gel nails and then picked out our colors. Their prices were more than what was indicated online, so it was $40 for gel and then an additional $15 for catseye polish (note they do not have the magnets for designs, so it's just plain catseye). This was done on our natural nails. My experience went relatively smoothly and very quickly. I had Tina, who completed within 20 minutes of starting, but I'm thinking that may not have been a good thing. My gel nails usually last for 2 weeks or so without chipping or peeling off, but these were chipping by day 5 and about a week in, one had peeled so badly that my nail snapped in half. My friend was not started on til i was almost done. Her nail tech switched halfway through as well, and another nail tech came by and made rude remarks about her hands twice, saying that the nail design she wanted would look ugly on her. The nail polish needed another color to help it show up the way it looked on the display/bottle, and there was a lot of back and forth trying to get that right. In the end, they were able to figure out a way to get it to look right, but that added an extra 40 minutes to her nails. The receptionist was great and helped advocate for her to get the correct shade. I like the convenience of having a nail salon within walking distance, but I think I'll stick with my usual unless these things change. It's not worth the money for early chipping and rude remarks.
