The nail tech was detailed and took the time to fix a few minor things I pointed out, which I really appreciated. My nails came out looking great in the end! I was told they're currently working out of a temporary location while renovations are being done, but it didn't affect the service. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because my cuticles weren't trimmed and no cuticle oil was used--just a small detail that makes a difference in the finish. read more

I got a spa pedicure here- basically as a walkin; I called 15 minutes ahead and they said come on over! Sadly I was the only one there- you're missing out! Helen was great, and gave me a really nice spa pedicure ($45) and foot massage. She did try a LOT of upselling when I first got there but thankfully desisted after I told her I didn't have a ton of time. This was my first visit, and I plan to return whenever I'm in the area. This place is impressive and seems to be a hidden gym. It was spotless, and the service was accommodating! You can walk in and make an appointment in person or online. MiMi was so professional and attentive! Sometimes, I didn't have to tell her what I wanted on my nails. She already knew! Hannah and others made my feet brand new! They took time to remove dead skin and ingrown nails, ensuring I was comfortable. I haven't had service like this in almost 2 1/2 years!! I received a complete acrylic gel set, a deluxe pedicure, and eyebrows. They had different people work with me, but it was a smooth transition, and the quality of care was top-tier. Massage was amazing by Mimi. The callus removal was amazing. The price was reasonable. Salon was not the cleanest. It was very old and outdated. There was alot of dirt and grim on the walls. The pedicure chair was ok however. Only 2 other workers. They did speak alot in there native language. It did make me feel uncomfortable. However the French pedicure was not good. It was not even. I asked her to fix it and she grunted a bit. She tried her best to fix it. The nail polish did not last, however. My big toe was chipped the next day. I had to run to cvs the next day got white polish and fixed it myself. The nail salon is 25+ from my house. I was also going out of town soon so I didn't want to deal with the hassle. Of course 3 days in one of my ring finger toe ripped off completely the white French part. I am giving 3 stars for the massage. Mimi has a mean massage. I may come back and give her a try again. Maybe get full color and not French. I'll continue to ignore the grim on the walls. read more

Worst nail experience of my life!!!!. I just moved to the area and was in search for a new nail technician. I was in the salon for 4 hours and my nails look horrendous. I asked for dip and she gave me acrylic, I asked for an almond shape and I don't know what I have right now, I asked for them to be cut down many times and they are still too long, my cuticles are throbbing because she cut my cuticles so many times. I did not know what to do because I needed my nails done and was heading out of town for the holidays and did not have time to get them fixed or did I have money to get them fixed. I made an appointment two weeks ago 12/24 with BB (I believe that was her name), anyway as I arrived on time 11:00 am the staff looked at me crazy when I said I had an appointment. They said ten minutes someone would be right with me. I picked out my color and waited. 11:20 MiMi said I was ready to go to start my pedicure. I went and began to soak. 11:34 AM I stated if someone make an appointment that should honor it. I asked for a towel dried off and left. No-one there apologized or tried to accommodate me. Sad very unprofessional. I realize the nail salons are busy and that's why I waited. but the appointment was made two weeks in advance, per there encouragement due to the holidays. I will never go anywhere else!!! Never crowded, although you should really make a reservation. They spend so much time on you and really make sure every nail is perfect. Mimi and Lily are amazing!! The salon is small but they take such good care of you, they ask if you want water, what you want on the tv, carry your coat and bag to the drying area, when you pick your nail color they come over with the bottle (they keep them in the nice packaging they come in and put them back when done) to ensure it is the right color and that you are happy with your decision. I used to come here all the time to get my eyebrows done by the same person, lily. She was the best and always did a nice job. The last two time I've been a new person has only been there for eyebrows and nails. Both time as she was doing them, a second person was watching over her. It was very awkward having two people starting at me while speaking amongst each other as I'm not sure what they were saying. Both times, it took 25 minutes for her to finish,my eyebrows look uneven, bushy, and there is a lot of wax still left on my face. It looks as if my eyebrows were not even touched and that she barley did anything besides make them uneven. There are new people working. This is sad as I used to love coming here to get my eyebrows done. I had a coupon that said expires on nov 13th ( I came on the 2nd) and they refused to let me use it. I will not be back. read more

This is a hidden little gem in a shopping center I went today on my day off around 3:30pm and it was quiet and mostly empty which I enjoy better than a loud salon. Moving on I generally think that you can judge a salon by the manicures that they give. If I get a bad manicure 9/10 I won't get anything else done there ever. I had a wonderful experience here though the tech was super nice and gentle, but most of all she listened to how I wanted my nails shaped rounded and not square most places you end up with a rounded square which doesn't look good with my smaller fingers. I picked out a wonderful shade of sparkly red for the holidays and she made sure that the polish was not opaque as some can be. It was also my first gel manicure and she walked me thought how it works and the benefits which was great. This place made me so relaxed I was ready to sleep when she was half way through the shaping part of my nails. They didn't have specials toy knowledge but my manicure was rather affordable at $30 before tip. The name is not the same as well I believe it is called LUX nails now not what is on here. If you want a nice quiet place to get your nails done without being pressured for other services this is the place! read more
