I took a chance on Zina's with a Groupon purchase. I was able to be scheduled for a MUCH NEEDED massage right away. Zina's co-shares a location with a hair salon and spa. I was unsure where to go so sat around for a while after I arrived - then finally asked a hair stylist to contact Zina's. Someone came to get me shortly thereafter. We went up to the 2nd floor where the massage rooms are. I needed to use the restroom and was amazed by how large the space was. My masseuse directed me to the massage room we would be in. He told me to take a seat and asked why I was there or what I needed, something to that effect. I told him I'd recently moved and all my joints ached. He left me to get undressed and on the table, then returned shortly for the massage. I'd say overall it was an excellent massage. I'd let him know during the session I liked a lot of pressure, which he mostly provided for the rest of the massage. After the massage, I felt like new person and my joints no longer ached. Overall, excellent visit. I've never had a male masseuse before and I do feel I was a little uncomfortable about that, BUT, I cannot deny how good my body felt afterward. Overall great experience. Particularly the massage from Travis and the pedicure. The massage used various techniques and even stretched me and was phenomenal. The mani/pedi was perfect and water temp was just right. The facial had all elements to be great but I prefer the esthetician to tell me each step and give me choices before just applying product to my face. But she was super sweet. Only other feedback is that estheticians shouldn't smoke right before a service because you're in such close proximity. Zina herself is amazing. I bought a Groupon with an expiration of February 2026. I called for an appointment on December 29 and the manager told me she would only accept the Groupon until December 31. She didn't care about the expiration date. When I asked for a refund she literally laughed at me. She said she "accepts no responsibility whatsoever" and told me to deal with Groupon. So I have gotten half-dozen Massages @ Zina Spa. While the massage therapist has been fair to good. It's the only spa in Baltimore where you can make an appointment on the same day. Hence why I keep going there. But Management is awful, one time I tipped the masseuse in cash upstairs and the owner insisted I add a tip when I paid w/ my Credit Card (see last review). Last couple of times Management wanted to collect more personal information than needed. This time when I came down to pay she added the tip to the services charge and added an additional $5 as some made-up charge. Today Management called and claimed I made an appointment for today, which I did not, and I am afraid they are going to try to charge me. I know Management keeps your Credit Card on file. UGH. Travis is hands down the best massage therapist in the world; like, for real! I cannot say enough about Travis, the man is truly an expert in his field. Today, we celebrated my grandmothers 75th birthday and what other way to start the day then going to the SPA! I researched and called Zina's Day Spa earlier in the week in hopes that they were able to accommodate my last minute request for a full pampering experience for my grandmother. When I called I had reference a package that was no longer available however, they made an exception for me and asked if I could bring my guest a little earlier so they could have adequate time to provide all requested services. I booked a 30 minute massage, mini facial, manicure and pedicure. The experience was about 2 1/2 hours. My grandmother stated her experience was amazing and like no others. She stated that the customer service and hospitality provided was top tier. This was her first massage and stated the staff was patient with her because she finds it hard to relax. She stated the facial was nice and refreshing. Overall, her experience was just what the doctor orders relaxing and refreshing. She was so excited to show me her hot pink nails lol. Going to Zina's Day Spa is like going to your favorite Auntie's house, and that Auntie's love language is: spoil, pamper, and make pretty. Like with every favorite Auntie, there were even baked goods and candy involved. My fiancé purchased a spa package for me for my birthday. It included a massage, a facial, manicure and pedicure. I have received spa treatments before at other places, so I was expecting more of the same. Not. At. Zina's. She and her team took care of me like I was in need of healing...I was. The service began at the door. Zina greeted me by name, took my coat, and introduced me to Kevin-my masseuse. He escorted me to the changing area, and I was given a soft fluffy robe and a pair of slides to change in to while Kevin waited to escort me to the suite. The room was peaceful and cozy. I believe Kevin was a gift from the Lord Himself. I sit at a desk for work, and I just started rowing and pilates (IFYKYK). Kevin, not only gives an amazing scalp massage, but he discovered and released knots in places I didn't know needed attention-. I can look over my shoulder again so...yeah. Next, he offered me water, gave me a spa towel to change into for my next service, and waited in the hall to escort me to Tanya who was waiting for me outside the suite where she would be doing my facial. Again, the room was clean, cozy and PEACEFUL. Tanya made sure I was comfortable before beginning the service. I received a gift certificate for my birthday to Zina's day spa, and opted to use it to get the Aveda body scrub and the European facial. OVERALL: I was a little turned off by the place for a few reasons. The bathrobe they gave me was damp, and the spa slippers they gave me were old and looked dirty. Secondly, the prices advertised on the website were $99 for a facial and $120 for the body scrub. Zina told me on the phone that they had raised the body scrub place by five dollars (fine no big deal) but when I went to check out she told me they had also raised the facial price by $21 so the facial was actually $120. It feels like this is something they should have clarified upfront. I would go back for the facial, not the body scrub. FACIAL: the facial was fantastic! The room felt clean and professional, the facial itself was gentle and included a fair amount of face massaging and facialist also gave me a shoulder massage. It is advertised as a 60 minute facial, but only lasted for 50 minutes. AVEDA BODY SCRUB: meh. It was 30 minutes of scrubbing on a table, followed by 25-30 minutes of private use of a shower and sauna. There was no body lotion applied after the scrub, so my body actually felt itchy the day after. The shower was pretty standard and there were random mostly empty toiletries scattered around. Didn't feel worth $125. read more

Very unorganized. I didn't feel like I was at a spa at all ! I was not offered a robe so I had to get dressed in between every service and then get undressed again. The guy who did my massage passed gas and didn't even acknowledge so I had just suffer in that small as room for the next 5 mins until the smell went away. The lady who did my facial smelt like cigarettes. She didn't tell me anything that she was doing or putting on my face. The steamer is janky. It was overwhelming and made horrible noises. I didn't get offered the wine or chocolate until I was checking out. Then the owner asked my friend what tip did she want to leave I said $20 despite wanting to say $0 but then she went on to say they usually take a tip of 18 %. WHAT DID YOU ASK FOR ??? I was planning something to celebrate my wedding anniversary and I called Zina's (last minute and when their office was closed) and she still answered and accommodated my request for two massages, two manicures and two pedicures with champagne! Zina has a repeat customer after today! I was terrified of going today to get a Brazilian wax after a horrific experience I had with a large chain spa 2 years ago. I will not name them but it was the worst wax experience of my life AND it was my first time! Zina gave me tips on how to prepare for the wax before I arrived and she helped ease my anxiety during the wax. She is extremely knowledgeable, caring, careful and so kind. Just moved to the area and picked Zina's since it was so conveniently located. I made an appointment online and they called to confirm the next day. Upon arrival I was warmly greeted by Zina herself, offered refreshments, as well as time in the sauna prior to my massage. I should have gone but I opted not to. I was shown to the treatment room shortly after which was clean and very comfortable. The massage itself was pretty amazing. I did the combo so there were some high pressure moments but I have a lot of knots so I always expect that. She was great though, sensing the extra tension and adjusting as needed. She also would check in to make sure it was the right amount of pressure for me. Not a fan. First, they gave me a damp robe. I requested a new one. Response I got was it was in the sauna.. well I wasn't in the sauna. Massage therapist should ask if you want glutes and face massaged instead of assuming. Well first off I should've been asked if a male therapist was ok for both massage and body scrub. When I asked who would be doing my scrub therapist replied me as if I was suppose to know. Then when I declined the scrub, therapist politely informed me he'd feel some type of way about that. Literally every customer i heard her speak with there was a difference in advertised price and what the actual price was. This is one of the best salon and spas in Baltimore. I get my hair done there, Brittany is the only person I trust to do my color because I know she won't mess it up or unnecessarily damage my hair. My first visit here was actually for a cut and color correction after a girl at another salon in canton fried my hair and turned it yellow. Since this first visit I've only come back to her to get my hair done. I also have gotten the best massage of my life from Jonathan and amazing manicures. This week is my first spray tan with them and I can't wait.
