The crew! Proud of these guys!

Went to dinner at Ohgane with my son and 2 grandsons. Never been to a Korean BBQ before. We went with the level B. Everything we ate was good. The one series ordering the shrimp, Jumbo shrimp and octopus was not good. Otherwise everyone got out fill. Nice place, clean and not to noisy. seated at our 5:00 reservation time for Sunday. All staff was helpful. We had several stupid questions they could have rolled in the floor about. But no, they were gracious and helpful. Watching others I could see there are some things we can do differently on our next visit. Everyone enjoyed our meals.

Worst customer service experience I've had in a while. No welcome in, no introduction or asking us if we've ever been there before or if we have any questions or how to order, etc. They just pointed to the table and never came back. We ordered the cheese corn which literally had 15 corn kernels in it. When we called to say there was no corn in our cheese corn the gentleman responded "that's just how we make it" and walked away. You can have the best food around but if you have horrible customer service, I will not return.

Yummy food with good portions and plenty of options. The service was great, quick, and the waiter checked on us often. The ambiance is good--it has an open layout with a decent amount of seating options. The only downside is there is no included dessert for the price.

The space itself is huge and there's a whole back section that they ended seating us in. It is a bit tight as they really stack the tables next to each other. Good AYCE Korean bbq option and they give you a wide variety of side dishes. Not the best I've had but still a good option for a good selection of different meats and appetizers

I wanted to try this place for my birthday with the fam. They don't take reservations so when we walked in around lunch time, there was no wait. Parking can be a handful since so many restaurants and shops around. They allowed 5 meats per round and we pulled the menu from scanning the bar code too. We ordered the ayce premium menu which was $55 per person. I wanted to try the wagyu brisket, galbi, and the scallop. My absolute favorite is the wagyu brisket and galbi. I really liked their huge portions (especially the wagyu brisket), but was difficult to cook on the small grill. It was better to cut the meat in small portions so they cook faster. We also tried the following: Pork shoulder (must order) Hawaiian pork belly (must order) Unagi Garlic pork belly Ohgane has plenty of options to choose from. Only downfall was the service. Our waitress did not checked on our table if we needed more meat, water refill or asked how was the food. Only time was changing the grill. Overall the food and portions were worth it.

We came here as a big family and we all got something we enjoyed. Ayce KBBQ is always my go-to option for large group hangout lol. Nice soju is a plus. A bit of waiting on food serving, but not too bad.

One of our favorite KBBQ spots. Very delicious and flavorful. Service is great, especially the food runners and bussers-- they're amazing! Plenty of seating and spacious enough.

Went here on a Monday and service was very fast and efficient. The food was so good ! Meat cuts are high quality and delicious. Restaurant was not too crowded and the server was very nice and polite.

Probably the best KBBQ here in the county. And very much thanks for having the thin pork belly and thin beef belly. They didnt have them on our last review from many years ago (and I just noticed I should've updated my review long time ago. sorry for the long delay).

We had a lovely experience from start to finish. We were warmly greeted at the door, and our food and drinks arrived very quickly. I really enjoyed using the new tablet--it made ordering simple and convenient. Everything was served promptly, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The ventilation for the barbecue was excellent, which made the dining experience even more comfortable. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family, and I highly recommend this location.

Came here with a friend for lunch as they have several EV chargers in this Park and Shop shopping center and my friend needed to charge her car. The place is similar to the Ohgane at Alameda South Shore. They had a lunch special with choice of soup, scrambled egg and bulgogi for only $20 so my friend got that and I got japchae. Both were tasty and hardy. We will come back again as the food, service and atmosphere is great for catching up

My friends and I came here on a Saturday night and had to wait about 10 minutes. We ordered on the tablet and the food came shortly. The portions for each dish is huge. It took a long time for the meats to cook. $40/person. Service was ok. They gave us the wrong food sometimes or forgot to give us food we ordered.

Ohgane Concord has stepped their game up big time! Tons of great new appetizers and meat options and I wish I had taken more pictures, but I was stuffing my face. $33.95 for dinner + $20 for premium, you can't really beat that. I think the Oakland spot is $68.99 and they didn't offer all of these cool upgrades. The premium got you unagi, waygu, beef tartar, marinated galbi, carne asada, SCALLOPS, a pork belly and a few other things I can't really remember. TheBEST appetizer they have going right now is HANDS DOWN, the Braised Short Ribs. Sooooo flavorful! I think we ordered like 4 and they give you a nice size portion! The gravy it's in is delicious and goes great with the rice. The meat was tender and not over cooked. I would go back strictly for that. They also added new appetizers and meats to the regular menu and I was loving those as well. Lamb cube steak, Tornado potatoes, butter baby baked potatoes, pizza corn cheese and so much more. I definitely got my moneys worth and will be back soon. Service was ok. I do think the service buttons should be on the outside of the table. Ours was hiding so we didn't see it until the end and we spent a great deal of time flagging down waiters. I am giving them 4 stars because of the cleanliness of the grills. All of them need a deep clean underneath the grill plate. So black and crusted over with soot and caked on food that it was very unappetizing to see when they changed the grill plates. As a place where grilling is all you do, that should be apart of the daily clean up.

Met up with family at this restaurant for a weekday lunch. I'm not well-versed on Korean cuisine,…read moreand there are only a few dishes I feel safe ordering with the short ribs being one of them. Our group ordered the 2 meat/2 soup special for 4 persons and it was definitely enough food for our group. The short ribs were excellent and I even enjoyed the soups (not sure what they're called, but one was pork and one was beef). Excellent service throughout and the place was very busy. Parking could be a challenge depending on the time of day as it's shared with other merchants.

Something against Filipinos? Or me? Did I do something wrong? I ordered bibimbap and so did my dad. My sister got tofu soup. My mom was sharing soup with her. It was obnoxiously loud because there was a birthday being celebrated at the table in the middle (not the staff's fault but maybe this got on the staff's nerves?) I asked for 1 refill of the side dishes. 1. Waitress gives us a refill. So that's the initial set of side dishes and 1 refill. As my dad goes up to the back portion of the restaurant to pay, I ask for another refill of side dishes. Lady with shorter hair says, "no." with a stern look of disgust. I go, "uhh..okay." Really weird, that's never happened before, ever. My sister and mom left a few minutes prior and got their tofu soup to go because of how loud it was--we weren't done with our meal they just wanted to get out of there. If the soup was still on the table and all 4 of us were sitting down, would she still have said no? We then left a $5 tip (I wanted to give $0 actually after what just happened). As I left the table and went out the door, I saw the waitress looking at our table from the back where you pay, she was checking to see if we even left a tip (because my dad didn't put a tip on the bill as we like to leave cash tips). Just all around bad vibes. I very rarely give 1 star reviews. Actually the food here is unfortunately phenomenal, so if you've never had a bad experience here go ahead and continue eating here it's great. Food portions are terribly small for the price you pay. It's a flat out rip off for the cost. Maybe if their service was good it would justify the cost, but their service as described above, despicable. I know my thoughts are all over the place but I'm a bit rattled still at what just happened. I finished eating there 7:48pm, it's 8:03pm as I'm typing this on my phone in the car while the memory is fresh. That's how irked I am. They did not refill our water or ask to refill our water until I asked, and I only asked once. I saw they asked other tables if they wanted refills of water. That, plus the side dish refill and the short haired lady who's probably the owner saying no? I never want to come back. I felt disrespected, unappreciated, and felt racially profiled like because I'm Filipino she didn't like our kind there or something. The vibes were really off. I'm never coming back here voluntarily. At least that's how I feel right now. My experience, 0/5. The food, unfortunately 4/5, Score: 1 star because that's the lowest I can give it. Expect to see this review on here, Google, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and TikTok. To the owner / waitress who didn't give me refills on the side dishes, if you're reading this: didn't think I'd go this far to share my experience did you? The angry side of me hopes you lose business. The more peaceful side of me hopes you read this, think about what you did and if it was right, and think about your customer service and making people that come to your establishment and paying you to eat your food, happy. Because the look you gave when you said, "no." When I asked for the refill of side dishes, you might as well have spit on my face. That's how it felt. If you feel no remorse over this incident, then I wish poorly on your business, but I doubt this review will affect your profits. Good bye. Never again.

Service was amazing here as the staff attentive. Tangerine Soju slush (5/5): Was going to get the strawberry one, but the staff recommended this one instead. I am so glad I took their advice. It wasn't too sweet and tasted fresh. Beef tartare (5/5): Definitely one of the best I've ever tried. A pile of raw beef pieces on top of slices of pears and topped with a raw egg. The creaminess from the runny egg really enhances the flavors of the beef. The pear was refreshing and added a hint of freshness Seafood pancake (5/5): This was also one of the best I've ever had. There was plenty of seafood and the outter batter was crunchy. Cold noodle (5/5): Was very refreshing on a hot day, but the mustard was very spicy. Over…read morethe years, though, so many K-bbq restaurants have opened up that unfortunately Gen kind of slipped off my radar. But this week, something came over me, and I decided to give it another shot. Lunch was about $22 per person as of June 2026. I remember going to the Concord location years ago and feeling like the portions were pretty small, even though you could order it as many times as you wanted. This time around though, our experience was completely different. Every order came out piled high like a mountain of meat. Everything was fresh, the marinades were on point. On top of that, our server was so friendly and attentive. Honestly, if I could give this place six or seven stars out of five, I would!!! Honey Soy Beef Belly: Absolutely amazing. The beef was sliced thin with the perfect ratio of meat to fat. The sweet and savory marinade complemented the richness of the beef belly oh so perfectly. I also loved the generous amount of green onions they sprinkled on top, which made this dish even more inviting. I'd order this again in a heartbeat. Beef Belly: This is basically the unseasoned version of the Honey Soy Beef Belly, so the quality of the meat was just as good. The nice thing is that you can customize each bite with the seasonings at the table, whether it's Green Tea Salt, Sesame Oil, or Sweet Soy Sauce. Simple but delicious. Bulgogi: Bulgogi has never been my favorite since I usually prefer savory over sweet, but this was still very good. The beef was tender, the marinade was flavorful, and everything was well balanced. That said, I'd still pick the Beef Belly dishes over this one. Chadol: This beef brisket used to be my go to order at Gen. Somewhere along the way, though, they switched to a leaner cut of meat. So now it wasn't quite as tender as I remembered. Still though, the meat was fresh and tasty. Honestly, it really comes down to your personal preference and whether you enjoy a leaner cut or a fattier cut. Pork Belly: Thick slices of unseasoned Pork Belly that you grill yourself and cut into smaller pieces then dip in Sesame Oil and Salt? Yes please! These were incredibly satisfying. Once cooked, the pork was even still tender and juicy. Easily my favorite pork option. Spicy Marinated Squid This dish had that classic Korean spicy sauce that balances sweet, savory, and spicy flavors super duper well. The squid stayed tender after grilling, it was amazing. I'd definitely order this again. Hotteok: A Korean style pancake filled with Brown Sugar and Peanuts. It's definitely a heavier dessert after a bbq meal than what I usually prefer, but it was still really good. The outside was pleasantly chewy (mochi like texture), while the filling was warm, sweet, and gooey. Kimchi Fried Rice: Don't sleep on this one because their Kimchi Fried Rice was fantastic. It had the perfect balance of tang and savory flavors, and it paired well with all the bbq meats. Super yummy.
