    Their take on a mojito!
    Melissa M.

The galley has, in my opinion, the best happy hour in the city! Their cocktails are half off and their menu is fun and creative. It also goes until 6:30, which for the Twin Cities is later than average, so you have more time to take advantage of it. You also get to enjoy foods from different vendors if you'd like, and it is all pretty tasty as they are reputable restaurant booths. The vibe here is laid back but still fun and lively and is a great place to stop by for drinks or meeting friends.

Went for lunch with coworkers and got a nice spread of yummy food. Parking was a bit tricky during the lunch hour, but we only had to walk a block. This is a smaller food hall with a ramen restaurant, Hawaiian food, a sandwich shop, and Wrecktangle Pizza. The ramen place was closed which was a bummer! We made due with the other options and ordered a caesar salad from Wrecktangle pizza (10/10!), old bay fries from the sandwich place (8/10), bruschetta (3/10), Hawaiian fried rice (7/10) and katsu chicken (6.5/10). The food came out fast and each of the staff members were helpful and friendly. The Galley is the perfect place if you want to grab a quick lunch or hang with a cocktail and play board games. It's so bright and open, such a lovely place.

The north loop gallery is a trendy food hall that offers a few cool options for food. In the same space you can try Hawaiian, American, ramen, pizza, and more. It offers plenty of seating and the ambience is lovely. If you are in the area definitely check this space out. Bonus points for being able to order online.

What an awesome place to eat with friends. Its kind of an upscale food court, seems like this is the new vibe, several variations of this type of eating are around the cities. Here at North Loop Galley its open seating and you can either order at your table and pay through their site or order at one of the restaurants inside. I ordered from Ono Hawaiian Plates and tried their Kalbi Short ribs. Very flavorful, however a little fatty.

Such a cool food hall in north loop! There are fewer vendors than others in the city, but there's plenty of seating and is a great place to meet up with friends. We tried the Ono Hawaiian plates and I now have a new favorite burger in the twin cities. The OHP burger is a must try-- unique flavors and the loaded fries it comes with are amazing. Wrecktangle pizza was good too, the staff was nice and helpful. You can order from the table or from the stalls and they bring the food out which is nice! It wasn't packed on a Wednesday at 6 with plenty of tables open. Only street parking which is super hard to find around the area.

The food options here have all been great (I've been twice), the ambiance is nice and lively, and the restaurant style/service (being sit, scan QR code, and they bring food to you) is convenient. This is a great option for a large group and has a really fun vibe. They also have trivia on Tuesdays which we played! But I can't reiterate enough that I've enjoyed the food a lot here. FOOD: I've had both the Hawaiian restaurant (Ono) and Ottimo. The Hawaiian restaurant is truly top notch with great portion sizes, incredible flavor, great value, and great selection. I got the vegetable curry with chicken Katsu and the savory flavor is unmatched! I also tried the fries at Ono and they were crispy and had great flavor with the added sauces. Ottimo was also very good and exceeded my expectations. I got the "Double A salad" with chicken and it comes with fried pita which is a unique and great accompaniment. The food choice here at North loop galley really stands out. AMBIANCE: great for a group. It's a bit loud but I think that's the vibe and design of the place. I'd definitely recommend coming here with a group of friends. SERVICE: this is a "sit, scan, order, and they bring it to you" establishment. You can also order at the restaurants/vendor stands.

    Burger w Volcano fries
    Deanie H.

Food: there are four different restaurants to choose from which creates a lot of options, including vegetarian and vegan-friendly choices. My burger with volcano fries were delicious. My friends ordered the poke bowl, veggie bowl, and chicken + rice plate and all of their plates looked equally delicious. This was my first time here and there are so many options I'm dying to try that I'll have to come back! Service: our group came for trivia and servers bring the food out to you after you order on your phone via QR code--you can also order food directly from the vendors. Service for basic things like napkins, cutlery, and water was lacking during our visits so we got most of those items ourselves from a cart placed inside the door. Ambiance: like I said, we came for trivia so this was a fun experience! we sat on the patio in June and the vibes were vibin. This food mall also had a bar right in the middle with a tap beer and cocktail menu. Would recommend the Snake Eye gin drink. Deals: They have 1/2 off happy hour every weekday 4:30-6:30; mimosa flight specials on weekends; Trivia on Tuesday (except on major holidays, like the 4th).

Perfect for groups or indecisive people. Truly has something for everyone. We like to order family style and share everything. We tried three out of the four restaurants + bar and they were all a hit! Wrecktangle Pizza: Ordered the Shredder, a delicious red sauce pizza with pepperoni, pickled jalapeño, and whipped Cry Baby Craig's hot honey. The pepperonis were crisp and curled and the jalapeños spicy. Bar: a classic margarita; I ordered through the QR code and was a little sad I didn't see an option for rim request because I usually like tajin over salt. It was strong but still tasty. Ottimo: Double A arugula salad & Pesto chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich came out warm and fresh with super buttery bread. These fries were crispy and so yummy, they only needed an aoli or special sauce. My family liked the salad, I would pass next time as I am not a big arugula fan just wanted to try it. One Hawaiian Plates: Got the chicken katsu and pork plate which came with macaroni salad and a scoop of white rice. Sadly, this is the only thing not pictured as we gobbled it down!! Macaroni salad needed some salt but the both meats were flavorful and moist. The sauce was so good I wish it came with two cups instead of one.

Their happy hour is the best in the area! $3 beers, $6 cocktails. I highly recommend their mojitos! Trivia is also fun on Tuesdays

Best happy hour in NoLo!! $3.50 gin and tonics? Half off adorable cocktails? Amazing. They have a select number of food vendors, but all of them have great menus. Tried Wrecktangle pizza (the best shareable option) when I went, and it was the perfect accompaniment to the drinks. The other options looked delicious, just not as shareable (need to try on my own next time). They also have games to help pass the time if you need, and a fire pit by their outdoor seating. Went on a Friday after work and stayed until 7:30ish, the place got really busy! Super fun crowd and nice ambiance. Plenty of seating too.

The Wendy Peppercorn and the Hibiscus Margarita.
    Charlie P.

Great spot for any occasion! Lots of seating, both indoor and outdoor. There are fire pits as well for cooler nights. They host trivia often which is so fun. TVs to watch your favorite game. There are about 4-5 different vendors to choose and a great variety. There is also a full bar with speciality cocktails available. It can get loud depending on when you go. It is stroller friendly. The parking is tricky in North Loop on the street especially on weekends.

    Casey E.

Stopped here yesterday for happy hour with friends. I had the old fashioned, which they do very well. My favorite thing about this place is that on HH, all drinks are half off. The old fashioned was $6! You can't get that anywhere else in the cities. I like the open concept of the food hall, however it does make for a noisy environment. Last night was jam packed and extremely loud, so we braved the heat to sit on the patio where we could actually hear each other. Fortunately their patio has ample seating. Overall, would recommend as a place to stop by for a HH drink and it's good for a group meal outing where everyone can order from a different food vendor if they want.

    Lana T.

OVERALL: A great spot for groups with a great happy hour! FOOD: my go-to here is always Ono Hawaiian plates, the prices are good and the portions are huge. There are other spots like wrecktangle pizza, ottimo, and Kawae. DRINKS: I love their cocktails. I'm genuinely impressed with the quality! They also have wine carafes too. PRICE: During happy hour the drinks are only $6! ATMOSPHERE: they have a fairly large patio and a lot of indoor seating.

The latte came garnished with rose petals and was not too sweet. It was a nice way to start my meal. Then came the sweet potatoes, and oh my God, I think they were the best sweet potatoes I've ever had. They were unbelievably, delectably sweet and cooked perfectly. They had an excellent char while being soft on the inside. And the sweetness was complemented nicely by the maple chili crisp, which had just a bit of a kick. The bison skirt steak tacos were also delicious. The bison was so tender and juicy. Full of flavor and cooked superbly. My server wasn't kidding when she said the tacos were big enough to share between a few people. I ate the tacos by myself, and I was beyond stuffed. Alas, I wasn't a big fan of the spoonbread. The flavor wasn't bad, but I didn't care for the texture, which was a little too coarse for me. The dessert was gluten-free, and I could REALLY tell. It was also too spicy for me. The spoonbread was drenched in hot honey. But the sweet potatoes, tacos, and attentive & friendly service more than made up for it. The restaurant isn't cheap (especially for a solo diner), but I've seen worse prices for worse food. And I'm eager to check out their new location the next time I'm in Minneapolis. We are not wine people, but I'd still recommend doing the wine pairings ,which is an extra add on. It was really fun to learn about the different wines and how they tasted with the plates. There is some down time in-between courses but nothing ever felt too long. It seemed like a perfect time to converse and enjoy watching the chefs do their thing. Every course and every pairing was explained in detail, and the staff clearly knew their craft. Service - they absolutely delivered. We chose The W.C. Whitney Menu. I had the Premium Wine Pairing, which was excellent and very well done. My wife chose the Temperance Pairing since she does not drink alcohol. This was one of the few disappointments of the evening. Many of the drinks were designed to mimic the taste of cocktails and wine, while my wife does not care for the taste of alcoholic drinks. When it came to the food, there was a range. Some dishes were truly outstanding and worthy of Demi's reputation. Some were good but not exactly great. And honestly, a few were mediocre. With a tasting menu, you expect some variation, but at this level and at this price, mediocre does not cut it. Here's what it really comes down to. I would rate the experience itself 5-stars. But the cost of the evening did not come close to matching what was delivered. I was not looking for, or expecting value! We spent over $700 for the evening. Demi is very good. The service is exceptional. The ambiance is awesome. Much of the food is outstanding. But in my opinion, the overall experience did not justify the extremely high cost.

We also appreciated the creativity of the uni spaghetti we were served. They do a no tipping/hospitality included model, which is nice to know what you're getting. But also, a lot was a bit off. Water took 10 minutes to get even when all the waiters were waiting for the kitchen to plate the next course. Cocktails were uninspired, basically just the flavors of the classics but with extra price. Dessert was additional, and honestly I think if you're going to do a prix fixe (which I love), do it as appetizer-main-dessert. Said uni spaghetti was creative, but lacking in balance, especially compared to the pear-nduja bruschetta (lovely) and said duck breast. I walked out feeling not unhappy, but not anywhere near one of my best experiences.
