Great place for a Saturday brunch! They have a nice shaded patio, large bar area, and nice sized dining room. They take reservations through Open Table. Service is friendly and quick, they work as a team so requests get taken care of quickly. Now for the food, for brunch you get a complimentary bowl of mini donuts. We started with the cheese curds to share and they were so good. Delicate batter, with a side of a sweet jam/ketchup and ranch. These were eaten up fast. We also shared the buffalo cauliflower which was nicely battered, firm cauliflower, and a good amount of buffalo sauce. I ordered the chicken wraps. These were nice and refreshing. Comes with 3 skewers of chicken, a peanut dressing, fresh Bibb lettuce, basil, mint, cucumber, and sliced radish. My husband had the huevos rancheros which he liked as well. I saw other tables get a mimosa flight which looked fun if we had a larger group. Highly recommend this place. Street parking only with a nearby pay lot. read more

I'm not a fan of Red Cow and I've been there many times over the years. I know it's a big name in the MPLS food scene but I always find that it's overpriced for what you're getting. I'm not a fan of the house made ketchup and I feel like there are never enough fries in that tiny tin carrier. The burgers are fine but nothing mind blowing especially for the price and the fact that there are some really amazing burger alternatives in the city. I'm a huge fan of Red Rabbit, the sister restaurant, so it's always surprising when I end up at Red Cow and have another pretty mid experience. read more

Cowgirl dinner is THE BEST! Price is unmatched and the speed it comes out in is crazy. We were in and out within an hour. Steak frites, a salad, fries, and a Paloma. Celebrated my friend and I's birthday here and ordered desserts. Our waiter comped both of them!! So kind and was totally unexpected for both of us. Best deal in the city! read more

Kids cheeseburger & Mac and cheese were good. They both came with fries, grapes, and a cookie. They preferred a drink over a cookie since they didn't like the cookie. I had the turkey burger which had one side burnt, but once I took that part off it was good. I also ordered a side of sweet potato fries which were one of the best. I would probably order everything again or maybe try something new. We couldn't find street parking so we ordered our food to go. The whole process was easy and we had excellent service. We stopped by Red Cow to watch the FIFA match and had a great meal overall. My only real complaint was that I wish they had turned the TV volume on for the game instead of playing music throughout the restaurant. It would've made the experience a lot more fun, especially for everyone who came to watch the match. The highlight of our visit was definitely our server, Hailey. She was so friendly, personable, and attentive from start to finish. She consistently checked in on us and really made us feel welcome. We started with the cheese curds and the guacamole, and both were really good. I also ordered the frosé, which was refreshing, although the lemon flavor with the lemon slice was a little overpowering for my taste. For my entrée, I had a 60/40 burger that was cooked perfectly with the bacon and was full of flavor. Overall, we had a really enjoyable experience thanks to the great food and even better service. My first time here since they remodeled! It is so cute and elevated in there, love the decor. Our table started out with Ahi Tuna bites and burrata and sourdough. My favorite was the burrata - SO delicious! The table loved the ahi tuna as well. Then I got my go-to: the patty melt. It is so cheesy and gooey and full of flavor. Update from the last time we ate here. I actually forgot I had an a raw burger last time. So I ordered the Ultimate burger again, and for $20 their burgers are just not worth it. It was the smallest patty I have ever seen and especially for being called the "Ultimate burger". I'll try and remember to not order from here again. read more

Red Cow is definitely a go to place for consistent burgers. I always get the 60/40 burger because who doesn't love bacon. This last time I went for their special Chophouse Burger. They did their own spin on the viral burger with melty hot cheese. This burger DID NOT MISS!! As always the burger was so juicy and the shoestring potatoes gave it great texture and the dijon sauce gave a nice acidic touch to balance the richness of the wagyu beef. Paired it with their crispy tower onion rings and truffle aioli. We went on a Tuesday night which was half off a bottle so that was a win. Our server highly recommended the creme brulee and as a creme brulee snob it was one of the best I've had. Being downtown the restaurant was packed but the service stayed consistent. Our food came out hot and the server did a great job of checking in on us. We also stayed past the time they closed talking and laughing and we never felt rushed to hurry up and leave. read more

Stopped here for dinner after work with a friend, and I'm glad we did! It was a Friday evening, and I am glad we made a reservation. It was a Twins Game night and beautiful weather, so this place was understandably busy. We arrived early and we able to be seated before our reservation, which was so sweet! The food was great, I ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup and my friend had the house salad with shrimp. I've been to other Red Cow locations, all have been so great. We stopped in for a late lunch on a gorgeous Saturday and were lucky enough to snag a table out on the patio (a must as we had our pup with us). The patio was very pretty and a relaxing area to sit. Service was great, and they even bring out a bowl of cold water for your canine companion. We ordered the Double Barrel Burger and the Baja Bowl, and both were well-prepared and tasty. Had a great experience at the North Loop location. The space has an elevated, modern feel, and the overall vibe is really well done. Definitely a great patio option in the warmer months. Food was solid across the board. I had the double barrel burger, which was good, pretty classic but well executed. The ahi tuna crisps were fine, but not something I'd order again. The standout for me was the gluten-free wings. I love that they offer them gluten free, and the sauce was amazing. Drinks were also great. The margarita was fantastic. No shortage of amazing cocktails here. The menu is impressively diverse with a lot of options, and everything feels a step above typical bar food. Service was amazing and really made the experience. It's my first time coming to this Red Cow location. I've been to a couple other ones, but this one had the best interior by far. Our server was training at the time, but he did wonderful. The food was good as usual, but the pickles tasted a bit different than the other locations. The fries were amazing, you've gotta get them. Great space. Private dining room, bar with tv's, clean bathrooms etc. The food was great, a burger and the chicken sandwich and the tots. A little kick but worth it. The food and drink are decent, but outrageously priced for the quality. The burgers are about $20 each and don't even include fries! I could name several places with much better burgers for way better prices. I got the Le Shroom burger and it was just okay. Everything was over-salted. The best part of the meal was the creme brulee, which was pretty tasty. We don't plan on returning, as we had a mediocre dining experience at a frankly prohibitive price. read more

This restaurant is so tasty! We got the ahi crisps as our appetizers and they were delicious. For entrees, we got the fish & chips, shrimp linguini, and a burger. They were all amazing. Wow! This place was amazing! We walked in without a reservation (if you're pondering going here make a reservation). Wait was 20-30 min. We wanted to get a drink at the bar but there wasn't space. A really attentive waitress recognized our thirsty party and brought us a round of drinks. The tab was transferred to our table. When seated we asked our waitress for a recommendation. Stopped into Red Cow North Loop for happy hour and ended up having a great time. The new remodel gives the place a modern, open feel and makes grabbing drinks feel a bit more elevated. Came here before a Timberwolves game for happy hour, and it did not disappoint! They have a ton of great options, and the atmosphere is lively and fun. The recent interior updates look fantastic and really fit the North Loop vibe. We sat in the bar area, and our bartender was super attentive. Even though it was busy, our glasses never went empty. For food, we tried the happy hour guacamole, which was topped with radicchio and jalapeños. It was very flavorful, though a bit spicy for me. For dinner, my boyfriend and I shared the Blues 2.0 burger. It was a unique take on a classic since it came on a French roll. I'd probably ask for a little extra blue cheese next time, as it tends to fall off when served hot, but otherwise it was delicious. Grabbed brunch at the newly revamped N Loop Red Cow location before the Vikes game on Sunday. The new space is gorgeous - the collab with MP3 is so sleek! It was a fun lively crowd of football fans And a great place to grab food before the game as it's walkable to the stadium. The individual portion mini donuts you get are always a hit. I had a spicy bloody to start and my husband had the old fashioned which is SUCH a unique design in a syrup dispenser with a yummy French toast stick. We stopped in for dinner when going to an event in downtown Minneapolis. The interior space is really attractive, and there is a pretty cool patio space that they hadn't setup for the season yet. Despite the patio not being open, they had floor to ceiling doors that slide open to overlook the patio space, and we were able to score a high top table in the bar next to that open door. It felt like sitting outside, which is such a treat in March + Minnesota (*jazz hands* for 70 degree weather). We got the patty melt, sliders, and truffle fries. The patty melt came with a double patty and had a good ratio of onions and cheese. Of the ones I've had in the Twin Cities, this was one of the better ones. The sliders were a happy hour special ($10), and you could add lettuce, tomato, onion. The truffle fries were hot and seasoned well. For happy hour drinks we tried an Odell draft beer ($7) and a lemon drop martini ($8). We were able to score street parking nearby. My only criticism is that I thought the price of the patty melt burger should have included a side of fries or coleslaw. read more

Ok. This is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. It is tailored to whatever you are feeling...casual, large group, semi casual it all fits the menu. The customer service was outstanding. The waiters, hostesses, manager. From the bottom up everything was phenomenal. We got a bunch of different stuff to try and being from the southwest we all agreed the guacamole and elote was the best we have ever had. The flavor was outstanding. What kept me from 5-stars were the very bland cheese curds (despite the dipping sauce) and the nearly no-taste ice cream in the middle of the otherwise good apple crisp.
