The host was so kind! We wanted to sit outside but when we got there it was too windy. She let us move indoors. Just stopped in for drinks and apps but everything came out fast and hot. Our server Sydney was super nice! Had a great after work happy hour.

Overall, we were unimpressed by Red Cow. It's a nice enough space, but it feels rather soulless and the contrast between the more intimate, sophisticated dining space and the sports bar area is a bit jarring. The service was fine. The food and drink are decent, but outrageously priced for the quality. The burgers are about $20 each and don't even include fries! I could name several places with much better burgers for way better prices. I got the Le Shroom burger and it was just okay. Everything was over-salted. The best part of the meal was the creme brulee, which was pretty tasty. We don't plan on returning, as we had a mediocre dining experience at a frankly prohibitive price.

This restaurant is so tasty! We got the ahi crisps as our appetizers and they were delicious. For entrees, we got the fish & chips, shrimp linguini, and a burger. They were all amazing. Our server was great and friendly. Also, she had great lashes! The restaurant wasn't too loud and it was sleek inside. The parking is street since it's in the North Loop area. Definitely a place we will go back and make a staple in our rotation!

Best burger I've had in a while. I ordered the Ultimate with lettuce/tomato/onion. Sooo good, definitely hit the spot. My partner ordered the Blues 2.0 which he liked as well but didn't realize it was on a French roll and not a regular burger bun (our fault!). The tater tots were also bomb. Mac n cheese was mediocre. I ordered the "Everything Nice Dirty Soda" which is probably my favorite drink I've ordered at a restaurant ever. Service was wonderful, our waiter was very attentive and charismatic.

Tuna poke bowl A+ If you're underwhelmed by this photo. It's deceiving, this was excellent.

Wow! This place was amazing! We walked in without a reservation (if you're pondering going here make a reservation). Wait was 20-30 min. We wanted to get a drink at the bar but there wasn't space. A really attentive waitress recognized our thirsty party and brought us a round of drinks. The tab was transferred to our table. When seated we asked our waitress for a recommendation. She recommended the fondue burger special (A+), the tuna poke bowl (if there's a picture posted here and you're underwhelemd, don't be deceived it was excellent! ) the GoudaHash was equally as excellent as well, and the steak bowl had bursts of flavor. Atmosphere A+ Service A+ Food A++

Stopped into Red Cow North Loop for happy hour and ended up having a great time. The new remodel gives the place a modern, open feel and makes grabbing drinks feel a bit more elevated. We ordered an appetizer, split the Blues 2.0 burger, and tried a couple of drinks. Everything hit the spot, but the standout for me was the guacamole paired with their strawberry margarita. That combo alone is worth coming back for. Huge shoutout to Abby M, who took amazing care of us. She was attentive, friendly, and made the whole visit even better. Overall, great food, great drinks, and great service. I'll definitely be back for happy hour.

Came here before a Timberwolves game for happy hour, and it did not disappoint! They have a ton of great options, and the atmosphere is lively and fun. The recent interior updates look fantastic and really fit the North Loop vibe. We sat in the bar area, and our bartender was super attentive. Even though it was busy, our glasses never went empty. For food, we tried the happy hour guacamole, which was topped with radicchio and jalapeños. It was very flavorful, though a bit spicy for me. For dinner, my boyfriend and I shared the Blues 2.0 burger. It was a unique take on a classic since it came on a French roll. I'd probably ask for a little extra blue cheese next time, as it tends to fall off when served hot, but otherwise it was delicious. There's a lot to choose from on the menu, so there's something for everyone. I'll definitely be back!

We stopped in for dinner when going to an event in downtown Minneapolis. The interior space is really attractive, and there is a pretty cool patio space that they hadn't setup for the season yet. Despite the patio not being open, they had floor to ceiling doors that slide open to overlook the patio space, and we were able to score a high top table in the bar next to that open door. It felt like sitting outside, which is such a treat in March + Minnesota (*jazz hands* for 70 degree weather). We got the patty melt, sliders, and truffle fries. The patty melt came with a double patty and had a good ratio of onions and cheese. Of the ones I've had in the Twin Cities, this was one of the better ones. The sliders were a happy hour special ($10), and you could add lettuce, tomato, onion. The truffle fries were hot and seasoned well. For happy hour drinks we tried an Odell draft beer ($7) and a lemon drop martini ($8). We were able to score street parking nearby. My only criticism is that I thought the price of the patty melt burger should have included a side of fries or coleslaw.

What a festive place to really get into the holiday spirit. Red Cow decked the halls and brought a festive drink and appetizer menu, special treats for the season. It's a special menu for the holiday, so highly recommend. We tried the Swedish Meatballs, Cheese Fondue, Gingerbread pancakes as well as the chips and dip. All were delicious and a very nice touch for the season.

Came here because of the hype I read when exploring downtown Minneapolis Yelp reviews. Thought it could easily be overrated, but the hype and ratings are well deserved! My partner and I shared the Ultimate Burger ($13) and some cheese curds ($12.25) before the Twins game. The burger was fantastic! Loved it! The cheese curds were more of a "when in Rome" type of order. They were good but inherently heavy and greasy. Service was fast and friendly! Place was all abuzz and lively ahead of the Twins game, but comfortable and more refined casual atmosphere than expected.

Grabbed brunch at the newly revamped N Loop Red Cow location before the Vikes game on Sunday. The new space is gorgeous - the collab with MP3 is so sleek! It was a fun lively crowd of football fans And a great place to grab food before the game as it's walkable to the stadium. The individual portion mini donuts you get are always a hit. I had a spicy bloody to start and my husband had the old fashioned which is SUCH a unique design in a syrup dispenser with a yummy French toast stick. I had the breakfast fried rice and he had the burrito - both were delicious! Our service was quick and attentive especially for a busy game day.

We went for Happy hour. Had the best time after a long day at work. The drinks were great Strawberry Fresca Margaritas and tried soo many apps from the HH menu. Server was so helpful and attentive. We also had the ahi tuna crisps that were phenomenal and the lettuce wraps.

Red Cow has an amazing selection of burgers, sides and drinks. Tried the special burger of the month, the Alpine Burger and it was amazing! The service there is always top notch, kind wait staff and very friendly and knowledgeable. Whole place has been renovated, with better seating and plenty of room. The bar is great, plenty of high top seats and tvs to watch the game. Red Cow is a fantastic place to go if you're looking for a top notch burger!

The decor is fun, it's like a fever dream of a newspaper themed pirate cove with downtown holiday sparkle. Walking in, there's a news-themed entry, then you see a mermaid reading a newspaper at a pirate ship bar playing sports games on the TVs. It's wild, but it's so fun. We had great seats at a table by the window looking out to downtown, which was great for people watching while we waited for our food. We were also entertained by the football and hockey games on the TVs. Our waitress was swift, but we waited a while for her to come back to cash us out after we ate. I ordered their burger with fries and a Pinot noir on the side. The burger was cooked nicely at medium well. There were several cocktails that sounded great, but a nice burger and dry red was calling to me that night. My husband got the Korean bbq fried chicken sandwich and we split that and the burger halfsies. I liked the chicken sandwich, but not as much as I enjoyed the burger. A fun choice for a meal in downtown Minneapolis, don't let the reviews steer you away. Hopefully you can catch the bartender climbing the rope stairs for a bottle!

The restaurant was understaffed - the bartender was not only running the bar but also serving the entire dining area. We sat at the bar and waited about 10 minutes before being greeted. We also overheard a nearby table voice frustration about the slow service. We're pretty patient, so it wasn't the end of the world, but it was noticeably slow. That said, once we were helped, our server was friendly and attentive. I ordered a Spicy Margarita and my husband went with an Old Fashioned. My margarita was on the weaker side; not bad, just forgettable. My husband enjoyed his Old Fashioned. For food, we tried the Bang Bang Shrimp, Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and the Crab-Stuffed Portabella. The standout was definitely the Bang Bang Shrimp; we both really liked it. The lettuce wraps and stuffed mushroom were fine, just not dishes we'd return specifically for. The overall vibe was calm and low-key, and the staff was kind despite being stretched thin. I'm glad we gave it a try, but it's probably not a place we'll be rushing back to.

Centro is in a nice location that's near the Rosedale Mall but not all the traffic. I haven't been to this restaurant since it's been remodeled (previously Good Earth) and it's very trendy, IG worthy. Bright colors, murals on the inside/outside. It was seat yourself dining. And "scan the QR code to order". However, we did have the waiter take everyone's order because it was going to be ONE BIG BILL. Drinks came out, then we ordered food (apps for some, entrees for the rest). Great happy hour deals on drinks, and chips w/ dips. I ordered a Guava Margarita. It came in a lowball glass, garnished with a lime and spicy tajin rim. It was strong enough for me. Tattersall.... say no more! Tasted like a normal Marg, guava didn't stand out. Apps were shared. Chips were warm and salty. Guac was above average. Salsa and queso stood out more. Cool Ranch wings with ranch dip. Others loved them. I didn't taste much "Cool Ranch". Dirty Yuka fries. I got to try 1 but grabbed lots of its toppings and sauce. Don't know what a YUKA is but that was good. I would have had another if there were some left. Now my entree.. the Elote Carnitas Crunch wrap. Didn't come with any sides (rice, beans) or dipping sauce. Although I did steal some leftover Ranch from the wings. I cut it in half for easier eating and it looked beautiful. Due to the Carnitas, it was very drippy/messy/wet. I rolled up my sleeves, and made sure I had it over the plate vs my lap. It really didn't need a dipping sauce. It had some heat to it, and it built with each bite. But it was a good heat; tingly lips. Nothing on fire that made you pant or required milk. My coworker got the Cool Ranch Crunch wrap and hers was dry... and needed a dipping sauce for moisture. She used leftover queso and it was much better. Food came out in waves. Many staff helping out at the table with both bringing food out and clearing used dishes, empty glasses/ bottles. And no errors in the order. Great to see teamwork. To-go boxes were given to those in need and they looked like recycled paper/cardboard vs Styrofoam. And paper bags were given to the people with more than 1 to-go box. I would definitely return to try more items on the menu.
