If you're looking for a classic American restaurant with a good drink deal, this is your place! The place is clean but a little dim inside. I went with a group of 12 people and the servers were nice and attentive to our needs and often came back to check up everyone to see if they wanted more drinks. All the food came out at once, which was nice so no one felt left out. I had ordered the dill pickle cheese curd burger and this was one of the more unique burgers I've had. The dill pickle flavor was very pronounced and the burger patty was thick and juicy. I opted for the tator tots as a side, and those were fried perfect golden and crispy (would definitely get this over the fries, and they don't cost extra!). An it what it is place. I don't mind going here at all, especially during the day, it's a fun day drinking spot! I love the double bubble (2 for 1) and it always flows pretty smooth. I actually have been here multiple times but the most recent time was on Memorial Day and it was perfect for that day. Drank a few rounds (x2 lol) and ordered some food that truly hit the spot! Got the flatbread and the steak bites to go along with that and it was absolutely perfect. The waitress was good and she deserved the tip we gave her. Do NOT get the pad Thai. I can't believe it's even on the menu. It was a very "American" pad Thai version, I wouldn't even call it pad Thai. The noodles were drenched with the nastiest sauce I've ever tried. It was so nutty and limey it created this odd sour, bitter taste I just couldn't get paste. This place always looks busy. I've been 2 times now and 1 time it was very packed but we were able to still walk up to the bar and grab drinks and then eventually grab a seat. They seem to have decent deals daily and 2-1s all day, everyday. The menu is kind of all over the place. They have a bit of everything as far as different cuisines. I usually just get edamame. Rooftop bar on a Sunday night, how does it get any better than this? The service was amazing, very friendly and fast. My boyfriend had the taco special, delightful. I looked no further than the pistachio crusted walleye, and it was cooked to perfection with nummy green beans on the side and rice (and only $20!) I was hungry and they had a wing special for $.95 which I misunderstood but I guess it's $.95 a wing with an eight wing minimum. But they were very good! One & Done with Willy's Upon suggestion I was asked to meet my brother who was in town for business for dinner at Willie McCoys in Bloomington MN. It really sucked from jump. Upon entering tha place the noise was defening. Hundreds of conversations. clanking dishes echoing in this hall of humans. I can't even do it justice how awful the sound levels are. I talked my brother into going upstairs on the roof top. Which was much better. The server there was cool. I have lived the carnivore lifestyle for sometime now. So I ordered a steak with sour cream & no sides. I recieved an 8oz steak. It was overcooked & mediocre quality meat. Just that piece of meat & small dollop of sour cream cost me $26.00 (incl tip). I did the math later....I just paid $52.00 per pound for mediocre beef!!!! And did so in a really crappy noisy environment with uncomfortable high top tables and chairs. And ice water that had an aftertaste like reclaimed water. This place is far from the Real McCoy when it comes to a decent dining experience. High prices, mediocre food & lousy environment. Went to the Champlin Mn location on 4/1. Seated and served quickly but the food was not up to temp nor was the taste there. It's like it was pulled directly from the freezer to the turbo chef and served. Sent back one appetizer and it was warmer but still the mouth feel wasn't right. Asked the manager and server if they had new people but was told it's the same Tuesday cooks. Our stomachs aren't the best today so won't be back k for a while- it's a shame as we go monthly and order the same food each time- never this bad. read more

We came in on the 4th of July when I drive us to our other restaurant but they were closed They were open and although we had a wait time, it wasn't more than 5-10 min before we got sat! For starters, they have a full bar and had 2 for 1 beers! I ordered a cider beer and it was great. We got the shrimp appetizer, and I was pretty impressed with how yummy it was!! Service has always been very consistently good, we love the online waitlist so we can hop on before we arrive and minimize our time waiting, and the addition of the weekly specials has been one of our favorite things as of late! These specials run for 3-4 weeks and feature a wide variety of food that you can try! We're always getting at a minimum the appetizer or entree but there's always a couple drinks and desserts too! Although we are usually too full to try the desserts. As others have mentioned it's your typical watering hole type of place but man do we love it. 10/10 great work all! read more

Fun bar in a "bar wasteland"! There aren't other places like this near here, so it's fun to have a place to watch the game, sit on a rooftop patio, and enjoy some beverages. They always have 2-4-1s, but they do have to bring both drinks out at the same time. Wasn't a huge deal. I also really enjoyed their seasonal mixed drink - in this case it was the Salty Dog. I got two! They also have rotating seasonal tap beers. The staff was super friendly, and as far as bar food goes, I really enjoyed my chicken strips. Stopped by to have a couple drinks...our waitress was totally checked out. She introduced herself at first and we ordered our drinks and that is when the niceties ended. From the point when we said we were there for drinks and not food, the attitude changed. It was as if we weren't worth her time. Kendra K. served us 2 rounds of drinks and the time in between drinks was filled with her stopping by a table full of friends where she was eating food and socializing instead of doing her job. Incredible food! The dill rub on the cheese curds were genuinely life changing, and my only regret was not having the room to finish my Mac and cheese. Our server was kind and checked on us often, clearing plates and filling up our waters. All the staff seemed happy to be there, and we even ended up sitting next to a table of employees who came in off the clock to visit their manager. Overhearing their banter made my night. Bathroom vibes were immaculate, which may seem wild to say, but when you have to do your business, it's comforting to know the stall could withstand a hurricane. 10/10, will definitely be coming back. read more

I have loved this place for years. Coming 3 almost 4x a month. But recently, owner/management has made changes for ' the masses' as their lady manager told me. (what was i?) The cole slaw is different, not great now & the best burger they had was the cream cheese jalapeño burger with this completely yummy jam. I drive almost 40 miles for this place. Sadly, now I'll be looking for a new x local'favorite'. None of their burgers are extra-more-then-ordinary now. It's such a number that a gem of a burger is so easily discarded. This place for me went from 4+ with great staff to no more than I could get a McDonald's burger and be just as satisfied and save myself 14 extra dollars even with burger Monday. I'm sad to go. My sister in law and I went to Willy McCoy's on a Sunday for lunch. When we got there, it was busy but not rockin' but when we left, the place was getting crowded. She had the Steak Queso flatbread and I had the Southwest Chicken Wrap. Both were generous servings and were quite tasty. We both had a Bloody Mary which was served with a full beefstick, lime wedge, cheese cube, and an olive. That could have been lunch all by itself! It was a good drink with, of course, the snit. With as crowded as it was, the noise level didn't seem to be an issue. We were able to have a conversation without shouting at each other. It's definitely family friendly - there were lots of children and great food choices for them as well. We'll be back to try out some other items on the menu. read more

One of my favorite places in the southern suburbs to visit on a nice summer day. Their rooftop is one of a kind (for Bloomington) and makes you feel like you're in a quiet but city like place. They have 2-for-1s all the time, which makes it a great place to grab a drink with friends after work or on the weekend. Their food is okay too, I haven't had much of it, but I've had some salads, waffle fries and other apps. I've also sat inside, lots and lots of tables and bar space, and I seem to always run into someone I know. This place is a hidden gem (I only found it this year)!! I've attended two rooftop events here. One of them was a birthday party where we just grabbed a bunch of tables and claimed them. The other was where they sectioned off the indoor part of the rooftop and had a small buffet of apps - super delicious! Both events were great and the staff made sure that the area was sectioned off and kept tabs to make sure only the people that were supposed to be in the area, were the only ones that were allowed.
