The boyfriend and I came here for some late night food after working at home and doing yard stuff and we were looking for something that was open a little later with a full kitchen. AND I AM SO HAPPY WE DID! First off - let me tell you - there is nothing bad on this menu. We got cheese curds which were perfectly crisp but still soft enough and had ooey gooey cheese in the middle! The marinara on the side was so good! It must be home made! Delicious with excellent flavor! Next - get the wings! The table next to us ordered them so we did too - and we were so happy we did! The flavor was strong - but in a good way, savory with no spice. Stopped in around lunch time on a weekday and enjoyed lunch on the patio... it was a gorgeous sunny day. Jan the hostess was a sweetheart and delightful. She does her job well! Thank you for making for a wonderful experience. Our waitress came out shortly after being seated and had two waters ready for us. I loved that gesture. She asked us right away if we wanted anything else to drink and/or if we wanted to put in an appetizer. We passed on that, but took a few minutes to review the menu. When she returned, I ordered the crispy buffalo chicken sandwich with fries and my friend ordered the baby bleu salad. Food came out hot with 15 minutes ish. Everything was delishhhhh! I was blown away at how great the chicken sandwich was. I'm not huge on bleu cheese and thought about it asking for none, but thought just try it. It probably enhances the sandwich and I'm glad I did. It was SO good. Probably one of my favorite Buffalo chicken sandwiches ever. It was huge (enough for two meals), served hot, and I loved the amount of Buffalo sauce on it. My friend finished her salad and said it was delicious as well. I always seem to forget about Lucky's but will definitely be adding my rotation especially because of the patio. Also, if you're a popcorn fan, they have the BEST. We were all disappointed in our food. My friend ordered shrimp tacos and the shrimp was not cooked completely. My husband had a house salad with a half a sandwich and the salad was very boring. A friend and I met at Lucky's on August 26. I ordered my usual patty melt and fresh fruit. Within 25 minutes after eating, I had the worst stomach pain of my life. Fortunately I only lived about 15 minutes away. Within a few short minutes after arriving home, I started vomiting. Every 10 to 15 minutes I was vomiting. By night time I was so weak I fell trying to get in bed. At 10:30 a.m. on the 27th I got ahold of 9-1-1. I ended up in the hospital with a diagnosis of FOOD POISONING. I was hospitalized until September 8 when I was transferred to a transitional care facility. I will most likely be here until September 17. read more

My friend and I stopped in for a quick drink! Prices were reasonable for a mid range bar and grill. We didn't sample the food this visit but the menu was plentiful with sandwiches, appetizers, and entrees available for a reasonable price. The place was huge with a giant bar and lots of tables throughout, definitely suited for large crowds. It as quite busy when we were there and the noise level was medium to high with people talking, TVs going, and music available to be played as well. A good place to watch the game as there was lots of seating where TVs were viewable but maybe not the place for an intimate date or anyone hard of hearing. We found the service to be as expected and while we weren't blown away, there was nothing we found to be a con either. We will be back for the food! read more

Stopped by here on a quick weekend visit to Minnesota and I've been missing it ever since! The service was excellent and I can see why this place is always packed! I highly recommend getting a reservation, the first Lucky 13 we tried was packed so we drove over to a second location and got seated right away, there was a line to be seated after that. The atmosphere is loud but so much fun! We sat at the bar and our bartender was awesome! Very attentive and could hold a conversation. We only had time to order appetizers, we had Walleye Fingers & Bang Bang Shrimp. We don't have walleye in California, it's a must when I visit the Midwest. Both were so good! I tried out this new happy hour spot with my coworkers and wasn't disappointed. It was quick to get a table. They had live music and the staff was all very friendly. Service was a little slow and it seemed like our waitress forgot about us. Our food came out really fast though once we ordered. I went on a Tuesday and they have a happy hour special of two tacos for $8 during happy hour. I believe you could choose chicken, shrimp or Birria. I got the birria tacos and they were delicious. The meat was flavorful and tender. The dipping sauce was flavor and not overpoweringly spicy. They also had a fun creama on the tacos which was a nice addition. The sour cherry mule was really good. The cheese curds are to die for here! Free popcorn which feels good yet never ending haha. The service is great, the staff is super busy but seems to work well together meaning if one person needs to switch to help the other they are great team players= great service and good vibes. The atmosphere/theme is cool yet a bit interesting but I like it haha it's like cowboy/medial theme with top 40 or random music you would enjoy haha and its reasonably priced for a table to get things to share which is always fun. We went to Lucky 13's often and spent a lot of money there over the months and years. Today we had the absolute worst customer service we've ever experienced. The waitress rang up 3 drinks but never delivered the middle drink. We mentioned this to the waitress who immediately got defensive and said she delivered the drinks even though we had to ask for her to bring the second twice, she was short, rude, and unwilling to speak to us. The manager also had to clear our table earlier since our waitress did not clear a single item from our table all night. She immediately went to her manager and spoke to him. He then ate a bowl of soup and sat around while we were ignored by the waitress and sat for over an hour waiting for someone to come speak to us. We flagged the waitress down when she came near us waiting on the tables near us. She said, "the manager is watching the video in the back" and walked away. Incredibly rude. Eventually after about 20 minutes more waiting, the manager went and spoke to the waitress and was looking at the computer where orders are placed. He then walked over to us and told us that he watched the tapes and we were given the 3 drinks. We asked to see the proof whether on the tape or have him take pictures of the tape he watched to prove to us that those were delivered (because the 3rd never was). He said he was not going to do that but instead would comp us our drinks as he didn't want to fight about it. Nevermind we'd sat there waiting for him to "review tapes" for over an hour but it wasn't something he was worried about. It was a $6.50 drink. The principle was more meaningful to us than the $6.50. We ended up leaving with paying the full tab because he wanted to comp all our drinks which we weren't asking for, just for us to pay for the drinks we received only. Absolutely AWFUL customer service and it's making us contemplate ever going back. Pretty disappointing. Do better waitress and manager. Do better. read more

Lucky's is a cute bar with lots of seating and space. This is definitely a bar to hang out in for the older crew though (no offense people!). They've got great popcorn and pull tabs to start off with! But, I wasn't too impressed with the drinks or food. The French dip is tasteless. The roast beef doesn't have any taste. The hoagie it was on could've been better too. The wild rice soup isn't bad though! I was also disappointed in the Cajun wings. The wings themselves were good but they tasted like plain wings. You ever try Cajun fries from five guys? Yeah amazing and bursting with flavor. I didn't taste any Cajun whatsoever on the wings. They took them back and put extra Cajun on them. I had the chopped salad and it was bland and unexciting. I really would have expected more toppings and meat on the small salad for almost $5 The tots were ok but overly expensive. I liked the dipping sauce and the cheese-filled center was something interesting that not a lot of places offer. I had my water filled 1 time in 2 hours. This is while all of the people I was with who were getting beer were constantly getting refilled. You should not get poor treatment just because you don't drink. I will not be back again. read more

Bingo night! I frequent Lucky 13's quite a bit for bingo nights. It's a fun way to spend a Wednesday evening! Although it can be quite busy, I've always been able to get a table before the start of bingo. I recommend getting there 15 minutes early. Note: it does get loud on Wednesday evenings, so if you're looking for a relaxed dinner spot, this might not be it. I typically just order a beverage while I'm there, but have previously enjoyed the nachos (soooo much food) and the Buffalo chicken sandwich! Parking is free around the restaurant, there's plenty of it. They have outdoor sitting and the people outside looked pretty happy to be out on the nice weather. The inside is nice and well decorated, the place has a large bar and plenty of sitting. They serve complementary pop corn!!! I thought it was very interesting, we were hungry so the popcorn went puff!!! fast. The beer is huge, the beer servings here are super large. The wifi is locked, I don't mind that but if u have a pwd wifi for patrons u should have the pwd visible for them. The waitress was very polite but not a super special service was provided. MALIBU AND DIET- omg this is the strongest I have ever had this drink. Is a great and terrible thing at the same time. TUNA MELT- I am weirded out. It was a inside out tuna salad all over bread... idk I dont feel it. The meal itself tasted ok, but in was not a fan of the presentation for sure. ONION RING SIDE - I GOT 3 onions.... lol rings that is. And the batter was so weird it kept falling off the onion. So stiff. When I was there for lunch it was packed too! Seems like a real hot spot. For my lunch visit, I had the soup and half sandwich deal. (Had the Reuben and French Onion Soup). It was very good. Would highly recommend both. My second visit was not as good. I was pretty excited to try the Swedish Meatballs. I was really really let down! The gravy was tasty, but the potatoes where clumpy and tasteless (and there were too many). And the meatballs where dry and also lacking in flavor. More gravy might have saved them... I do like this bar/restaurant and will most likely go back. But I will steer clear of the meatballs! read more

I used to enjoy going to this location of Lucky's on 494 and 35 but will not be going back due to the tall male bartender. He is very rude and a rotten bar tender. He walks by without making eye contact so he can make you wait until he is good and ready to take your order. I go out for Happy Hour 3 to 4 times a week and he sucks at his job. The rest of the staff and cooks do a nice job but i don't need to be treated with attitude by a bar thug when paying the prices they charge, won't be back. read more

We stopped in here to watch the game, eat and drink. It was close to our hotel, and we prefer pubs to fine dining. The food was very good, although we kept it simple with a burger and nachos. They have a great selection of craft beers available, and my wife was able to find a tasty cocktail. Our bartender was ver friendly and attentive. It's a pub/sports bar, so the atmosphere is noisy and frenetic, just like it should be. They have a very large building though, and we didn't feel crowded or like we couldn't have a conversation. Despite apologies from the waitress & the manager, and part of our meal that was not edible being credited, it just wasn't a pleasant supper. How hard can it be to make a BLT & French onion soup?!
