Mashed potato bowl
Christina K.

As always this is one of my favorite spots for good food and fun. I enjoy Wednesday bingo nights. They have a large parking lot and are good for a large group. The menu is huge with lots of options for gluten free. The grilled cheese burger was unique and delicious. My friend loved the mashed potato bowl. Come early for bingo as it feels up fast. Bingo is cash only. Free popcorn all the time

Stopped in around lunch time on a weekday and enjoyed lunch on the patio... it was a gorgeous sunny day. Jan the hostess was a sweetheart and delightful. She does her job well! Thank you for making for a wonderful experience. Our waitress came out shortly after being seated and had two waters ready for us. I loved that gesture. She asked us right away if we wanted anything else to drink and/or if we wanted to put in an appetizer. We passed on that, but took a few minutes to review the menu. When she returned, I ordered the crispy buffalo chicken sandwich with fries and my friend ordered the baby bleu salad. Food came out hot with 15 minutes ish. Everything was delishhhhh! I was blown away at how great the chicken sandwich was. I'm not huge on bleu cheese and thought about it asking for none, but thought just try it. It probably enhances the sandwich and I'm glad I did. It was SO good. Probably one of my favorite Buffalo chicken sandwiches ever. It was huge (enough for two meals), served hot, and I loved the amount of Buffalo sauce on it. My friend finished her salad and said it was delicious as well. I always seem to forget about Lucky's but will definitely be adding my rotation especially because of the patio. Also, if you're a popcorn fan, they have the BEST. I was so happy our waitress gave us some to go as popcorn is not allowed on the patio because of the birds (I completely get it). I'll absolutely be back. I love how bar bingo is offered at this location as well.

Great service. Great ambiance, Clean everywhere including the well taken care of restrooms. I stopped for a Bloody Mary on a Sunday morning but hope to be back for a meal sometime.

Me in hospital after fall from hours of vomiting.

A friend and I met at Lucky's on August 26. I ordered my usual patty melt and fresh fruit. Within 25 minutes after eating, I had the worst stomach pain of my life. Fortunately I only lived about 15 minutes away. Within a few short minutes after arriving home, I started vomiting. Every 10 to 15 minutes I was vomiting. By night time I was so weak I fell trying to get in bed. At 10:30 a.m. on the 27th I got ahold of 9-1-1. I ended up in the hospital with a diagnosis of FOOD POISONING. I was hospitalized until September 8 when I was transferred to a transitional care facility. I will most likely be here until September 17.

This is my favorite place to go on a Sunday morning for the delicious Cajun hash breakfast, pull tabs, and during football season the best Vikings atmosphere! #Skol

My friend and I stopped in for a quick drink! Prices were reasonable for a mid range bar and grill. We didn't sample the food this visit but the menu was plentiful with sandwiches, appetizers, and entrees available for a reasonable price. The place was huge with a giant bar and lots of tables throughout, definitely suited for large crowds. It as quite busy when we were there and the noise level was medium to high with people talking, TVs going, and music available to be played as well. A good place to watch the game as there was lots of seating where TVs were viewable but maybe not the place for an intimate date or anyone hard of hearing. We found the service to be as expected and while we weren't blown away, there was nothing we found to be a con either. We will be back for the food!

The food is GOOD. Also, something special about it is how much variety there is. Asian, American, Mexican. I got the Birria Grilled cheese and it was reasonably priced and so delicious. The service was good and I had a great time watching the game.

The only photo I took of what was left of our Bang Bang Shrimp. I need a trip back soon! The cocktails were great too.

Stopped by here on a quick weekend visit to Minnesota and I've been missing it ever since! The service was excellent and I can see why this place is always packed! I highly recommend getting a reservation, the first Lucky 13 we tried was packed so we drove over to a second location and got seated right away, there was a line to be seated after that. The atmosphere is loud but so much fun! We sat at the bar and our bartender was awesome! Very attentive and could hold a conversation. We only had time to order appetizers, we had Walleye Fingers & Bang Bang Shrimp. We don't have walleye in California, it's a must when I visit the Midwest. Both were so good! The Bang Bang Shrimp had a little kick to it, delicious! Not too many photos were taken because great food & good conversation will make you forget to snap a pic.

Lucky's has affordable tasty food, solid specials and happy hour, great service, and a good environment for weekly bingo and brunch bingo with FREE AYCE popcorn! It's a slam dunk all around. Friends and I have played bingo elsewhere but we find ourselves coming back to Lucky's for all the reasons stated earlier. Nowhere else seems to have this winning combo - which makes Lucky's one of our favs in the Twin Cities.

Tuesday taco deal: 2 Burria tacos
Carley R.

I tried out this new happy hour spot with my coworkers and wasn't disappointed. It was quick to get a table. They had live music and the staff was all very friendly. Service was a little slow and it seemed like our waitress forgot about us. Our food came out really fast though once we ordered. I went on a Tuesday and they have a happy hour special of two tacos for $8 during happy hour. I believe you could choose chicken, shrimp or Birria. I got the birria tacos and they were delicious. The meat was flavorful and tender. The dipping sauce was flavor and not overpoweringly spicy. They also had a fun creama on the tacos which was a nice addition. The sour cherry mule was really good. Overall, a fun place to spot after work for happy hour.

George & The Dragon is a super cool restaurant that my hubby and I tried for a double date night…read morewith our friends. We came on a Monday night at 6:15pm. This place does get busy so definitely keep that in mind. Luckily I made reservations ahead of time so we had a table waiting for us, otherwise we would have been put on a waiting list since it's a small space. They put us in a corner booth which was nice and spacious enough for 4 people so I'd definitely recommend asking for a booth verse a table if you're planning to come with a larger group. The servers are all very friendly and helpful. I appreciated their attentiveness and sharing what they like best, especially for what's in season based on the time of year. The menu has quite a bit of variety too which is sometimes unexpected when you come to a pub-style location. For appetizers we got Onion Ring and Fried Pickles. They were both really good and served with dipping sauces. Definitely both shareable items so if you're in a group they'd be great options! My entree I chose the Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon served with lemon soy marinade, creamy cucumbers, and jasmine rice -- it was SO good!! I loved the creaminess of the cucumbers especially with the rice and than the lemon soy marinade was just a unique touch to the salmon. Toned the flavors down without overpowering acidity. And the salmon was so dreamy, a beautiful pink color that you just knew it wasn't a farm raised salmon. Plus the portion was very generous!! I'd definitely recommend the Alaskan Sockeye Salmon to anyone interested in visiting here. #eatwildsavewild The only negatives (which are more so just knowledge bombs for you): * Restaurant is VERY loud. It's hard to hear because it is one small room that everyone plus the bar is in. I wished I would have took a picture to show what I mean. Just know that if it's an intimate setting you're looking for this is not the place. So be prepared to talk loudly over the loudness and ask "excuse me?" or "repeat that" many times throughout your visit because you're not going to hear everything. * Timed eating. Because this place is a hit with limited seating, once you get a table and complete your meal/payment you'll kindly be asked to leave so that they can clean up and open the table to next in line. Totally get that and am not put off by this at all, but I could see how it could catch some folks off guard especially if you are out for a meal with folks you may not see frequently-- so just keep that in mind. This is not the place to sit and talk post meal. * Parking is limited. Be prepared to walk a few blocks as the road parking in front of the business is pretty limited especially with the other stores and restaurants in the area. Regardless of those few bullets I highly recommend folks visit George & The Dragon. It's a really cool spot and the food was great! Plus theirs a malt shop right next door that looks yummy too, so definitely worth visiting and getting malts after for dessert.

Service was fast. Our server checked on us many times to make sure we were taken care of. Great service. To the point that I just finished my plate and he instantly took the plate away as well. lol Food all tasted good. Zucchini fries is soft in the inside and a little crispy on the outside. I wish it was crispier. Brussels sprout was good but a little burnt. Fish is crispy and good. The burger was good as well. Price is reasonable. Definitely worth going but just mind the loud ambient

We saw the burger of the month in December was a tater-tot hotdish burger online and man did it look like a 10/10. We drove about 30 minutes and ordered two along with a past and red sauce kids meals. While we waited we ordered a flight to try several options: the peanut butter bear was amazing, the cider / seltzers were good (Sherbet was the best) but the sugar cookie was meh. Once our good arrived a was already bummed as it didn't look like the photo. The burgers weren't cooked to order and overall there wasn't a lot of flavor for a burger with so much going on. I felt like it needed more goop....that's the best part of a hotdish, the glue. The past with red sauce wasn't well received but kids are kids. It didn't look amazing, but I didn't except much. With the menu being as big as it is I wouldn't mind coming back and trying something else, but I'm not in a rush to return.
