A favorite sports bar for many locals, this place always offers a fun experience, whether you're dining, drinking, or socializing. One of the highlights, along with the food and drinks, is the staff: always friendly, welcoming, and pleasant. My recent visit for the French dip sandwich confirmed that highlight once again. I wish I'd gotten the name of the lovely and sweet staff member who served me: she loves horseradish sauce and highly recommended pairing it with the sandwich. The sauce complemented the French dip well. The fries were good, and the meat was tasty, although a bit dry. Fortunately, the dish comes with au jus, which was flavorful and helped balance things out. I'm only knocking off one star due to the meat quality and the bread. I couldn't tell if the bread was toasted, which is crucial for this dish because a soft bread will fall apart when dipped into the au jus, while a toasted, crusty roll provides the structural integrity to soak up the flavorful liquid without disintegrating. read more

My girl bragged about the wings so we grabbed some late night on labor day. They were closing early but let me do a pick up order. Walked in, small bar, felt like a lot of regulars. It was pretty busy but the woman behind the bar immediately asked if i was there to pick up the order and knew my name. The wings were ready but were inside a to go box which made them less crispy. Pretty decent wings, exactly the same as wing zings from cub food. Seems like a fun little dive bar, and id probably visit again if I'm in the area to get a full experience. read more

This is a family favorite for a low key family bar atmosphere. Its a simple cozy, local bar that is a great place to catch a Vikings game. Get their early game days can be pretty busy. There are booth, table and bar seating options. They have video games pull tabs and pool if Tv's aren't your thing. They really have a great California burger. They even carry local beers like Surly. The service is usually very friendly and quick. I love when they open their garage door like windows up front in the summer on nice days. It's not a fancy place but its a good price. read more

My wife and I were out on our weekly Saturday new restaurant lunch excursion. I have passed by Sports Page by my mother and father-in-law's house for 26 years and we finally decided to try it to check it out. The place is kind of like a VFW/Dive Bar/Sports Bar feel and I think a lot of locals go there. We went about noon and sat at the back patio and the garage doors were open, so we had fresh air coming in. I ordered a Surly Furious and the brisket sandwich and upgraded to a side Caesar salad. The salad was really nice and I like it a lot. The brisket was super hot on a nice hoagie roll, couldn't tell if it was freshly baked, but I liked it. The meat wasn't the best brisket, but it was solid and with the coleslaw put on top, it made it nice and moist. Our server was cool and checked on us often. I ordered a War Pigs Hazy IPA for a second beer and I loved that beer. Worth a check out for a reasonably priced good lunch. read more

Was there for a party - wait staff was friendly, venue was clean itself, decorations were allowed to be hung without any hassle (as well as outside dessert). Parking is plentiful and even though outside was cold, it was nice and warm inside. Food itself was a bit lackluster, just seemed rush and some of the dishes seemed to be drenched in whatever sauce was with the dish, like the nachos for example. Would recommend though read more

Great place to go for bar food and a beer, ambience is not great but it's super comfortable and laid back. The food is always good, as is the service, the last few times there we were waited on by Sam who was an exceptional server, pleasant, helpful and very efficient and I think he was the only person waiting on tables. I am giving 5 stars because my experience and food was exactly what I expected and loved! What made this a very disturbing experience was seeing one of the OWNERS (I later figured out by asking the bartender) talk to her aggressively and condescendingly in FRONT of the entire bar top, I could see how uncomfortable and upset this bartender was, as well as the customers sitting there. My friend and I stopped in around 8:45pm Saturday night for a late dinner. Walked in and sat ourselves per the sign. Shortly after finding our spot, we were greeted by our waitress by the name of Kathi. She brought us two waters and the menu. She told us to look over the menu and she'd be back. Super cute bar and grill! Me and my gal friend went to grab a quick drink at our usual place in Bloomington and due to the long wait time to get seated, we decided to give Sports Page down the street a try and this may be our new go-to! A large part of the bar is open air which is separated from the air conditioned normal bar inside. The open air part was beautiful with bar seating and tables available as well as bar seating facing the road which was perfect for us as we appreciate a good view of the world going by. The bartender was incredibly fast and friendly on Friday night. She was very welcoming even though we weren't regulars and our drinks were poured perfectly. She was nice to everyone we saw her serve and checked back on us even though we only had one round - definitely a sign of great service!!! Whoever the owner is should definitely be appreciative of her because we will be going for the good service and great view! Just got into town and went here because it was recommended. The food in general was disappointing. I got a fish sandwich and my wife got the chicken sandwich which were both tiny and did not taste good at all. The fries were really plain as well. I'm writing this review over a thousand miles away as I am dreaming of my next visit to Minnesota so I can get a chicken tender salad and a page punch! My family and I have had countless meals here and have introduced several people to this local bar. Though it can get pretty crowded during football/Hockey/Bingo nights, it's worth the wait to get some reasonably priced, delicious food. From all of my experiences, the food has always been consistent with both dine in and take out. Came in from out of state and was told a good place to stop for a "sports" bar feel. So went and it started ok until we had to go-to the bar to get our first drinks after almost 20min of waiting of not busy place on a Sunday at the time.  Then finally got some service and then asked for menus then said we would order in a few min. The last 2 times I've been in there, it was horrible!! Absolutely horrible! The server got my order wrong. My friends enjoyed their meal while I had to wait for my correct order. I asked for my meal to be free since I ordered a Patty melt and the server brought me a jalapeno burger. The server insisted I did order what she brought me. I had to correct her twice on what I ordered. The server said no to me getting my meal for free because I was only inconvenienced for a short time in her mind!! Um, no I was inconvenienced for her lack of memory. She only gave me a discount. Next time I went in was 6-8-24. The grill was down due to a fire, all they had was wayyyy over priced garbage. There were children playing rap songs on the jukebox. The rap song was using the words. Ni^^er and Mother Fer's. There were CHILDREN listening to a rap song singing "down with whitey". We were getting up to leave due to this disgusting atmosphere. The sever said she would turn the music down. We said, how about OFF! We just shook our heads and left. This place has gone to crap!!
