two plates of food on a table

Stopped here on our way back home from Duluth. It was a cute spot where the food was priced fairly, the servers always had a smile, and the food was pretty damn good. The menu selection was great, really wished my husband got to try the MASSIVE Bloody Mary that's boasted about in the other reviews. The thing looks like a whole meal so he opted for a sandwich, I got the broasted chicken which was amazing, very juicy and the right amount of crunch, the mashed potatoes they served on the side were definitely instant but I still ate them up, my son got the cream cheese and jalapeño burger, he had no complaints. Definitely going to make a tradition out of stopping here to eat on our bi yearly trip to Duluth for new years.

Rachel was amazingly quick and attentive among all the Vikings' fans. And the colossal Bloody Mary was a full meal deal!!

A fun dive bar to grab a drink and decent bar food. Ordered the sweet chili wings and they were very good! The celery was... slimy and had a strange taste/texture. Not sure if it had been accidentally frozen or just not stored correctly but it was pretty off putting. The rest of the food is very average. Nothing very special about it honestly. We attended an event there where a Young Living consultant offered a class to create three succulent plants along with essential oils. It was REALLY well done and a lot of fun! We did hear afterwards that the poor server had no clue that the party she was assigned to was going to be 25 people on separate tabs. I've been a server and I couldn't imagine just walking into a Wednesday evening to that surprise. Speaks volumes to the management and opportunities. She did very well considering but it was clear that they hadn't prepared the staff for our event. Disappointing to say the least.

It is a dive bar and the good is ALL frozen fried foods , but with the lack of good customer service it's a real dump.

We followed up with sandwiches: hubby's French dip was one of the best he's had in a while.

We took a few minutes to order as the age range of our group was 12-73 years of age. The waitress was kind, and patient as we ordered. After ordering the food came quickly. We had a variety off the menu ranging from Salad to rice bowels and three different types of burgers. The Food and service was excellent! The manager came and asked how the meal was and was very pleasant. Prices were reasonable and portions were huge. I highly recommend this establishment and we will come back again.

The atmosphere is bright, cheery, and enthusiastic -- although perhaps a bit loud. But then again, it's a sports bar with more televisions than Best Buy. The service was extremely friendly, professional, and competent. All of the waitstaff were hard working and very attentive. Our waitress can around often to bring pop refills and to check on us. The food was typical sports bar faire, but well done. We did not go for the July Bloody Mary of the month ($30!) (see photos), which came with more food than a full day's outing at the Minnesota State Fair. Instead, my wife had been and the Jumbo Bacon Cheddar Chive Tots ($13), which were filling and tasty. The tots were stuffed with bacon, cheddar cheese and chive, and served with aioli. I had the Traditional Bone-in Wings ($16.50) with two sauces - sweet chili, and sticky garlic gochujang. Although both were flavorful, my personal preference was for the sweet chili. All of the wings were juicy and cooked well. I also upgraded to a very large portion of beer battered fries, which were shoe-strong fries. They were cooked well - not greasy or overcooked and very tasty. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal.

We arrived early at 4 PM on a Sunday afternoon so the place was not yet packed. By the time we left at 5:30 most of the tables indoors were full. You wait for the hostess to seat you. We took a hightop. They have a big outdoor patio area, but it was 90° that day so we opted to stay inside. Service was great and friendly and fast. Our Party ordered the following: Nashville fried chicken - chicken was crispy and just a little bit spicy. It was a bit greasy, but that is expected. The server said it was their best sandwich. That's my jam - this had cream cheese and habanero, bacon jam, but we couldn't really taste the habanero. But it was good nonetheless. Campfire burger - two of our Party ordered this and they thought the combination of the peanut butter with a spicy lingonberry jam was really good. The chips that come with the sandwiches are amazing. Don't even think of switching to something else. I also had the bloody Mary, which was a good mix, but not very spicy. I was wondering why they gave me Tabasco on the table. The burgers are huge, maybe a third or a half pound of beef and well worth the price. Overall, it is worth the 40 minute drive to White Bear Lake and won't mind stopping by if we were in the area again.
