Stella's is great, very relaxing environment in the restaurant part and the food is amazing. Stroganoff in the fall and winter is great and my wife loves the chicken picatta!! read more

Reuben was overcooked. Corned beef was shredded and more resembled crispified leftovers more fit for hash than a sandwich. Fries were fine for what they are. Kid ordered the Cajun pasta. It's not a large portion for 24 bucks. And while the server didn't think it was overly spicy, it was more like hot Cheetos. Hot for the sake of hot and definitely not good for some tastes. One more chicken pasta, a side salad, and soup....add four drinks and the total came to $120 after the requisite credit card fee. After all this.....it's taken me 5 years of living in the are to try this place. It's gonna be another 5 years to try it again. read more

I've ordered the walleye dinner for four years now, and the portion of the walleye is 1/2 of what it used to be. It's still very good, but the portion is very small.. read more

You need reservations even to sit in the bar. The hostess told us to seat ourselves in the bar then the server said we couldn't. Not real nice about it either. read more

Stopped in for a beverage... was greeted warmly and offered a table in the dining room or bar-side. I enjoy hijacking the TouchTunes so opted for the bar. Nice ambiance and good beer selection. Beer was cold and tasted as it should. Added steak bites and was pleasantly surprised. Tender, cooked perfectly -garnished with two sauces and onion strings. Will definitely return- menu selections are fantastic. read more

Love Stella's! We've tried a number of things from the broasted chicken to several pasta dishes to their signature Champagne Chicken - all are good. My personal favorite is the Minnesota Mac and Cheese - to die for! And in the summer, go for their Peach Bellini! read more

Good food, wonderful waitress, Ashley and nice evening. Stella's Steak, Beef Stroganoff, Filet Oscar all excellent.

We had a nice time, and the service was great. My steak was overcooked. When I shared that with our server, I was offered a replacement. I declined, not wanting to have my dinner after everyone else. I feel there should have been some other accommodation offered or discussed. I left a 20% tip, but I will never take a group to Stella's again. read more

My son had a basketball tournament in Forest Lake and we had time between games to get some lunch. I found Stella's on Yelp and the team and parents met us here. The service was awesome for our large group. They made our food quickly and it was delicious. I ordered the brussel sprouts for an appetizer and they were amazing!!!!! I also had the chicken app called the monkey something - it was okay. It looked a little slimey so I wasn't crazy about the presentation but the flavor was decent. My friend ordered the tuna a loved it. Another friend ordered the fish tacos and said they were amazing! There's outdoor seating on the golf course for a nice weather day. Prices for dinner were fair. Plenty of parking. I'd love to come back the next time I'm in town! read more

The steak with crab, risotto and sauces we're excellent. I'll be back. Great service.

The Valentine menu had a nice selection along with their cocktails. They food was amazing, service excellent and the bill was very reasonable. Can't wait to try the weekend breakfast. read more

The food and service are both great! I believe the chef is also the owner, which is super cool. Food is always good and staff know their stuff. Only criticism I have is that it's quite dark, so maybe more of a romantic vibe and the music in the bar is way too loud. read more

Great dining experience on our way to Duluth. The Man Salad blew away my expectations. Loved it. Will come back.

I highly recommend it! The Man Salad is soooooo flavorful and the feel of the place transports me to another place and time.

Yikes I forgot to take pictures! But the atmosphere is pubish but with a twist of golf course club house. Can be five can be fancy snd menu supports both. Staff was attentive, beer served ice frosty glasses, wine in nice large glasses, I love the variety I love that I can scrub out or dress up. One side is dining one side is bar separated by a glass wall. read more

We absolutely love coming to Stella's! We've been there three times now and I've still not managed to get a picture before we've devoured our food. Everything we've tried has been spectacular! It's gonna take a bit to get through the menu as we always share appetizer/entree and we've gotten the Brussel sprouts twice since we love them so much! The MN Mac and Cheese is next level and my other favorites are the man salad I think it was called and the steak bites. Service has been on point every single time. The cocktail menu has me happy and the beer selection keeps the hubs happy. Such a great place to go for date night or special occasions. read more

We are at Stella's last night and we're very happy with service and atmosphere. Food was excellent. I had the steak sandwich and it was perfect temperature, tender and came with fries with Parmesan. Very good! The others had burgers and the stroganoff. Everyone was happy. We'll be back. read more

Food 4/5 - The food never disappoints at Stella's. It's always amazing and consistent which is hard to find now of days. The thick cut pork chop was THICK and juicy! The burger was full of flavor and the sweet potato fries were delicious. Service / Ambiance 4/5 - The staff at Stella's are always so nice and welcoming. The dinning room and/or outside by the golf course is our favorite places to sit for dinner. The bar side of Stella's can get pretty loud during the weekday nights/weekends. read more

Our waitress was pleasant; however, my chicken was overcooked, not a great quality, and had lots of breading. I requested ranch dressing instead of butter and sour cream for my baked potato and asked for some gravy for my chicken (the gravy is listed in the menu description of the chicken entree). I was given a very small ramekin of each (no more than two tablespoons,) and was up charged a dollar for the ranch and two dollars for the puny amount of gravy. It's a nice place, but the service could be much better and the nickel and diming for condiments is not great customer service. read more

I heard the wings were great here, so had to try them out. I got an order of bone-in jumbo wings that I was able to order with 2 different flavors. I decided on Buffalo and teriyaki and I think next time I will go all teriyaki as it had so much great flavor. They have a lot of drink options and a lot to do I. The bar area from tvs to dart boards and other games. read more

Service was quick and very pleasant for a Sunday just before dinner rush. Bloody Mary flavor was on par with good flavor but I'd say could use a little more spices and the bacon was limp and cold like it had been sitting around a while. Ahí tuna was warm when it came out, flavor was spot on. Spicy Mayo was delicious. Slightly smaller portion size for price than what I've seen around and the julienned vegetables are not usually ones I find accompanying Ahi. A dash of salt on the seafood penne and it was delicious. A very large portion left me very satisfied. Minnesota Mac n Cheese has a lot going on. The ham leaves me a little less than impressed but the pork belly and even the andouille seem much better paired with the dish. Slightly bland but again, a dash of salt and pepper and it's another very filling dish. I didn't realize Stella's was part of the golf course so it's a touch on the "edge of town" feel instead of central to other shops and the like if you're looking for walking distance like some of the other restaurants. But all in all, it's a place I'd visit again. Bloody Mary, ahí Tina, Mac n Cheese and Seafood Penne total $70. read more

Amazing food! Also - finally super good service. Our drink refills came before the current ones were empty which never happens anymore! We had the broasted chicken, chicken Alfredo, and a kids meal. All the food was the best we have had in a long time! Great work Stella's crew! read more

What a hidden gem! We rarely venture past the fast food joints at the Forest Lake exit, but had some extra time tonight and decided to try something new. The dining room has an old school vibe, and the menu selections are a great combination of past and present. Our server Ashley was knowledgeable and friendly, and was very helpful with my gluten free wife's questions. I had the tenderloin steak sandwich, and couldn't have been happier. My wife had the GF champagne chicken, and she was very impressed. We are already talking about stopping after our next trip to the Cities. read more

We have had mixed feelings about Stella's. We usually get lunch or an early dinner so we have always had good service. The food is always great as well. That ended when we decided to introduce Stella's to our friends one evening. We made reservations for the dinner hour to make sure we got a table. That part went well and we were seated and had our drinks right away. After relaxing a bit we ordered dinner and I ordered a Ahi appetizer since they were very good. Well the Ahi was not up to their usual standards. It was over done and dry. Dinner arrived and they had the order mixed up. After mentioning it we were avoided and finally had to go find our waitress. About that time a large group showed up and were seated in the back room. We were told it would be at least an hour or more before they could make our order right. It was obvious that they were going to prioritize the big group so we asked for the check so we could leave. I only gave it two stars because the food was good in the past. Otherwise it would've been-1 read more

I ordered Caprese Capellini - ingredients are tomatoes, mozzarella, fennel and garlic. It was SO HOT I couldn't eat it. NOT the "hot" you get from garlic, but red pepper hot. Approximately 5:30-6 PM. After waiting for a table, we were seated and given menus by the host. While waiting, I counted 9 open tables in the main dining room. At the table, we waited for over 15 minutes and were not greeted by a server, provided with water, etc. We appeared to be non-existent while servers greeted other tables, cleared tables, delivered bills, etc. We tried to wave down staff but were not acknowledged. We finally got up and left. We had come to celebrate a special achievement but left with utter disappointment. What reason do we have to go back? We drove to a nearby restaurant, much busier than Stella's, and were seated within minutes, and ordered within minutes. read more
