Located in Nordstrom Downtown Seattle, this is a great place to eat! The vibe here is a relaxed classy vibe. The service is perfect and the food fantastic. For the food I got the chef special with was a 16 oz ribeye, grilled asparagus, and fingerling potatoes. The potatoes and asparagus were cooked to perfection and were flavorful. The ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium rare and topped with an herb butter that melted all over the steak. The steak was cooked so well and seasoned perfectly that it needed no sauce! This steak was better than some of the steakhouses in the area. Bravo! For the drink, it was crafted perfectly and the smoke finish complimented the steak meal. No complaints here and can't wait to shop and try more dishes here. Would be even a great place for dinner reservations in the city. No complaints and is a place to try in downtown Seattle.

Heart shaped macaroni and cheese - phenomenal!

Stopped in here to eat during a busy day of shopping on Valentine's Day with my mother and my daughter. We were promptly seated at a spacious table. Our server was very polite and tentative. We ordered a couple of glasses of wine and French onion soups, and a children's macaroni and cheese - special heart shaped. Our food arrived hot and delicious. The soup was perfect on a cold day. And although we devoured the soups, the true winner was the macaroni and cheese - the noodles were cooked perfectly and it was immaculate. I wish I had ordered it for myself. Once we finished, we didn't feel rushed at all. We took our time and the staff was very patient. It was a delightful experience for a Valentine's Day date, and far surpasses any of the times I've dined at the Bellevue location.

Location is convenient. Food is good. Service is out of this world, but make sure you ask for super Phil. He is the bong when it comes to customer service. Oh yeah & one tip on the Turkey Avocado Club, ask for extra avocado

8/12/2025- Stopped in to the Nordstrom Grill in Downtown Seattle -- the first Nordstrom store -- for a quick bite and was greeted by an incredibly friendly hostess. At 5 PM it was pretty quiet, but by the time I left around 6 PM the place had filled up with diners. I ordered the French Onion soup, and it was excellent -- loaded with onions and topped with a generous layer of perfectly melted cheese. The flavor was rich and comforting without being overly salty. Service was top notch from start to finish. Everyone was attentive without being overbearing. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other menu items. A solid choice if you're in the area and looking for good food and great service.

Love the food here, and the service is always stellar. We try to eat here when staying in Seattle. Took the monorail. Hubs had the French Onion Soup. Delicious.

A small group of six went for lunch during a 90 minute conference break. We arrived as one of about four tables. We all ordered soup/salad and waited longer than I would have anticipated. Our server seemed nervous and fidgety, but did a good job keeping our drinks full. At first it was quiet and peaceful, but when the restaurant filled, it got rather loud. The bread served with my soup was the highlight of the meal. My soup was good. The ciabatta was okay; not enough garlic, in my opinion.

First, the food for the Mother's Day brunch was phenomenal. We will return every year we can. The add on fun of a Photo Booth and friendly staff handing out samples and bouquets was like icing on the cake. The meal was a three course extravaganza with a croissant, main course, and a dessert which was a dipped macaroon. Also a gift of chocolates was handed out to take home. Being in Nordstrom is already fun, but a delightful meal like this really sets it over the top.

Roasted Turkey & Avocado Club Delicious!!

I'm greeted with a warm smile and a genuine sense of belonging, before I even get to my table. Once I've been seated, shopping, downtown and the rest of world is left outside the door, the small but friendly grill is the perfect place to catch your breath and relax with good food and good friends. This yelper says " Good Job!"

I like to come to the Nordstrom Grill at DT Seattle. A very relaxed atmosphere and good service. I came for lunch with a colleague and ordered the salmon from the kids menu. We have a good amount of kids menu and drinks are included. Weekend lunch hours can get busy, so a reservation might be a good idea. The taste of salmon is just right and it comes with warm vegetables and fresh fruit. We were satisfied with the delicious food and service.

I came for lunch. Staff welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. I had the French Dip and fries with a side salad. Salad was fresh and perfectly dressed. French Dip was a good portion of beef on a nice French role. The dip was a beef bone broth with wonderful flavour without being overly salty. Fries hot and nice crisp. Good seasoning full of flavour. The Aioli was not my favourite it each is own. Thank you Nordstrom for a nice dining experience!

The food is what I expected. This is a good spot for the function they serve. It's not fine dining, but it is much better than a food court. The service is quick and the ambiance is good for an in-store food establishment.

How have I never been here?? This is a little gem! Tucked in the bottom floor of the flagship Nordstrom store is a cozy restaurant. It was quiet and low key. Great spot for a nice meal. We tried the Heirloom tomato and burrata appetizer. Very tasty! I opted for the Ginger Sesame Salad with Salmon. It was delicious! Nice crispy wonton, lots of mandarin oranges. Delicious ginger dressing. Hubs ordered the green goddess salad with chicken. Both salads were very filling. I loved the low key atmosphere. I'll definitely come back to try other menu options.

I seriously have to say, Nordstrom grill has recently become one of my fav spots to eat at in downtown seattle. No joke when I say this - EVERYTHING is made so well it's art. I can't say I have tried everything on the menu but I intend to in the next few months. Their happy hour is amazing. Last time I went with two ladies and we just ordered all snacks on the HH menu. I highly recommend their: fish and chips (you can do half order), burger (so good), lamb sliders (delicious), simple salad (my go to everytime), crispy chicken sandwich, crab bisque, chicken tacos, etc. see how I am almost listing out everything...? Please stop by and give it a try. They have amazing mix drinks too. It is a legit restaurant. Not just a spot to grab a bite only cuz you are shopping.

The space is elegant, unique, and lives up to the photos. I also want to recognize the manager, who was polite, professional, and kindly explained that reservations were required. I completely understand and respect that policy. Unfortunately, my interaction with the bartender before speaking with the manager was the complete opposite. As I tried to get her attention, I felt like she repeatedly looked at me with annoyance and made me feel unwelcome. Rather than simply explaining the reservation policy herself, she went to get the manager instead. She had a problem with Hispanics. She refused to engaged at all. The way I was treated left me feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed, especially as someone who was genuinely excited to visit. A beautiful venue can only go so far when the hospitality doesn't match. I would have happily accepted that reservations were required if I had simply been treated with basic kindness and respect from the start. I truly hope this was an isolated incident because the location itself is stunning, and the manager handled the situation professionally. Unfortunately, because of my interaction with the bartender I've added in the photos, I don't see myself returning. Sadly they have a Prejudice bartender.
