Cup of clam chowder
Mary A.

I was recommended this spot by a colleague who really enjoyed their lobster rolls. I showed up Monday afternoon during the happy hour (M-F 3-6 pm), and while I was tempted to get a lobster roll, I used the opportunity to try multiple foods thanks to their happy hour prices! I opted for 3 different dishes: 1/2 dozen oysters, crabcake sliders, and New England clam chowder. -Oysters: I really enjoyed the oysters! Incredibly fresh and only $2 a piece during happy hour! Very large as well! -Crabcake sliders: I also really enjoyed these! The crabcake was nicely fried and you could hear the crisp in every bite. It went well with the slaw and the slider buns. -Clam Chowder: The chowder was tasty, but it was incredibly thin. Felt more soupy in texture than thick like how a chowder should be. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout, and made the experience enjoyable! Next time I'll have to come back and get the lobster roll my colleague raved about!

Cup Chowder

It was our last night in Seattle, and we knew we wanted to try the lobster rolls. We came across this one near the downtown area! It's located in some type of food hall kind of thing and there is a bar. The kitchen was cool because it's placed right next to the dining area so it was cool to watch our food be prepared. We wanted some cider and the waiter brought out all the options and let us choose. We got the cup of clam chowder, the Maine lobster roll (mayo) and the New England lobster roll (mayo, celery, chive). Yum! Price was pretty high, but it was expected. For everything, it was about $94.

4.5 Stars Open seat and kitchen at this spot, casual vibes. There are seafood and non-seafood items alike. Oh and cocktails of course! My BF enjoyed the Burrata BLT ($16) and I thought the crab cake melt ($19) was delicious too - perfectly griddled and a lovely side salad on the side. It is located in a building with a bunch of other things. Fast and friendly service.

I like this spot and have been here a couple times. We went for drinks after an exercise class and they were able to accommodate about 8 of us. The food was good and they have a nice selection of drinks. Always love the pubs and the server made sure we were always happy and had what we needed. In winter the indoor seating is cozy and kind of like a tiny modern neighborhood pub. I had some nachos my friend shared and a kelp cocktail. They do have vegetarian or veggie if modified options (and other dietary restriction options like GF) too which I appreciate at a seafood place.

Granted I dont get lobster rolls that much, I thought it was solid. I really like the celery in the new england style! Roll was $27 and comes with a salad or slaw. Probably is a bit pricier than other places, but at the least I didnt feel like they skimped on lobster meat. Slaw was pretty light and I think it could use a little more flavor but I guess it's ok that way since you get a lot. There's also a takeaway window but it seemed closed--not sure if maybe the window has different hours or something.

Went here on a Wednesday at around 12 pm and it was pretty busy with only a few of the smaller tables empty. It's in the same building as mbar, mochidonut, and a coffee shop. There's not a wall or anything that separates the area so it's very much in the open. It's My friend and I decided to get a lobster and a crab roll and split them. The service was very nice and friendly, we got seated instantly. As for the rolls, I thought they were just fine. I thought the crab roll was a lil salty but my friend didn't seem to agree with me. I did like how it was creamy and had more flavor to it with the celery. Lobster roll was just fine to me. Not sure I'd come back Crab roll - 7/10 Lobster roll - 6/10

Everything was amazing!!! The oysters were fresh and juicy, the lobster tacos were meaty and filling, and the burrata was flavorful and had a perfect combo of mushrooms and squash. The bar/restaurant is loud and a bit dark but the ambiance is fun and lively. Service is great and very helpful. There was one rum cocktail that I didn't particularly like, but everything else was fantastic!

One of my friends told me that this is his fave lobster roll spot so I knew I had to check it out! We went on a holiday and it was pretty quiet. My husband and I both got the Connecticut roll and asked for hot butter on the side. The bread was warm and perfectly buttered up. The lobster serving was not bad but def not as much as the other lobster rolls spots we've been to in the Seattle area. The clam chowder was delicious. It's on the thinner side, but I prefer that style. It's not as salty or too clammy as other chowders so I was able to eat more of it. The service is good! Our server was very attentive and checked in with us a few times without hovering. The building where Bat Harbor is looks pretty cool! Seems like a cool spot for lunch on a work day.

Food was amazing and service staff was very friendly, this place was recommended by locals while visiting on vacation and it didn't disappoint.

One of my favorite lobster rolls in Seattle, also a great spot for a beer or a cider!

Lobster roll and chips

Pretty solid lobster roll! Came here on a Wednesday to check this spot out and we ordered from the outside patio area. Lots of seating. They also have an indoor area with seated service. (Note: they only do happy hour in their main restaurant, not in the outdoor area) I got the lobster roll with chips (it's a bag of chips) and the clam chowder. The chowder was mainly bacon, not too many clams. It's more of a runny soup style. Came with oyster crackers. Overall, the food was solid and I can see myself coming back once in awhile when the lobster roll craving hits.

Great place for lobster rolls! Loved the salad, friendly staff, nice outdoor seating, good parking around SLU, and great flavor. I would come back.

Happy hour oysters
Elizabeth M.

Came for happy hour, and left a very happy. The happy hour oysters were two dollars each and you must buy either half a dozen or a full dozen at a time. It felt like a really great deal also had the five dollar crab sliders. Those were so bomb that I ordered three more and for that happy hour crunch got the nachos which is simple, but for the price I would get it again. Service was efficient and the waiters were great at letting us know when happy hour was about to end. It was a great almost like bar/sports bar, but elevated environment.

Is there a happy hour? What time?

Is this place Dog friendly?

There is an outside eating area, but it's not heated for cold days. The inside definitely isn't. Even though the restaurant worker said we could eat inside, the dog police security guard came and told us to leave.

Do you air Boston play off games? Ie, the upcoming Sox games?!?

We will absolutely have them in with the sound!!! Along with all Pats games and most Celtics and all televised bruins games!! Go Sox

The whole space has this intimate, luxurious atmosphere that makes the experience feel special the moment you walk in. We tried the Japanese Breakfast, which is a savory cocktail and such a pleasant surprise. It genuinely has miso soup notes. It's very unique and creative. I also had El Boho (flavorful but not overly sweet). The staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to recommending drinks. The prices are on the higher end, but personally I think they're totally worth it for the creativity and overall experience. This is the spot I bring all my out-of-town friends to because the ambiance, vibes, and drinks are just that good. Truly one of Seattle's gems.

The First Gentleman was attentive and we got our drinks and an appetizer timely. We ordered our second appetizer with our first server and thats where the service deteriorated. I could hear the table next to us ordered the exact same appetizer as we did 10-15 mins after we did and a new server who must had just clocked in brings them the order literally within 2-3 mins later and the male commented, "oh that was fast" and I thought to myself they got our order. Another 10-15 mins go by and I had to ask "do you know how long our order will take to which she seemed to get annoyed. It could have my energy because by that time I was annoyed. I'm not sure what happened to our original server but he must have gotten off. About 5-10 mins goes by and here it comes. That confirmed the table next to us got our order because of how long it took. They never apologized for their mistake. Doing all that time they never came back to see if we would like another drink. I had to flag someone down. The clincher was we got our bill and there was 22% service charge. That was on me because if I would have seen it I might not have gone. I'm not a fan of automatically charging a service charge. I'm a great tipper but it must be earned. By than I was really annoyed and thought to have a conversation with the manager but let it go. I would not go back. The craft cocktails are spendy but I had no problem with that because they're creative and they earned it by being creative. But the energy and the environment wasn't like the other speak easy bars I visited. It was boring and to top it off the service charge of 22% and the service that came with it sealed it for me. Make sure to read the website on their thought around the 22%.

When the city reopened in 2021, I was eating here almost every day; partly because of convenience, but mainly because the food and service never miss. I've hosted everything here: birthday celebrations, after-work hangs, and dinners with friends and colleagues. Every single time, it's a hit. People walk in, fall in love with the vibe, and walk out talking about the food. The consistency is unreal. They even order food to go. The flavors? Bold, intentional, and layered in a way that makes each dish feel crafted, not just cooked. The presentation is always stunning; plates that look as good as they taste. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they send out. Drinks are equally impressive. Their cocktails are balanced and creative, the kind that make you slow down just to appreciate the mixology behind them. And for anyone planning group outings: reservations here are a breeze. They're incredibly accommodating with large parties, and the service stays sharp even when the place is packed. Attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced; they know how to take care of people. Dead Line checks every box: atmosphere, flavor, presentation, service, and seamless hosting for big groups. It's easily one of the most reliable and enjoyable spots in downtown Seattle, and it's stayed that way for years.

We got our appetizers before our drinks: Brussel sprouts (SO YUMMY), oysters, and truffle fries (towered in parm!). These went down super quick. I then ordered the pork arepa for my entree and wow...not what i was expecting but will never regret! One of my favorite dishes I've had in a while that I'll keep thinking about. All the flavors worked so well together and the arepa itself was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pork was sweeter due to the marinade and not salty at all which i preferred. Roquette was a surprisingly small space with a wonderful vibe serving up "destination" bar-worthy cocktails. It reminded me of some of the neighborhood gem cocktail bars that I'd frequented on the East Coast. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Roquette's lineup of cocktails were varied in flavor profile using a wide range of spirits. They also served non-alcoholic offerings which looked equally intriguing as their boozy selections. I started off with the 99 Problems ($28), which, unfortunately, I forgot to note what was in the drink. It was boozy, clever, inventive, and most importantly delicious. My second drink was the Imperium Old Fashioned ($24) made with Westland Whiskey "Roquette" Barrel, Clement Cask Strength Rhum, Old Delicious Apple Brandy, Pineapple, and Spice. It was an excellent, boozy, balanced update to the classic Old Fashioned. Although I went with drinks off their menu, I have no doubt that any of their skilled bar professionals could've crafted me a wonderful cocktail if I had simply requested a classic or something on the fly based on my choice of spirit and desired flavor profile. Yes, the prices on the two drinks I ordered were pretty steep, but they were comparable to prices I've paid in Las Vegas. Plus, I don't have a problem with paying a premium for a well-made cocktail made with premium ingredients in a comfortable, welcoming setting (the drunken guy next to me who tried to engage with me in a political discussion excluded). Bottom-line: Roquette was a revelation. It served up two of the best cocktails that I've had this year. I can't recommend it enough and it'll be at the top of my list of places to hit the next time I'm in town.
