Clam chowder and MATCHA'DO ABOUT NOTHING

Have been attempting to try this spot for a while and finally made it happen! Their patio is almost never open even in summer and we have come by with our dog before to try but no dice. The food is really good though and we would definitely come back for more if their patio opened up more (we are usually walking our dog when in the area). The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful in answering our questions about the food. The indoor ambiance is nice, though the tables are a little close together and I imagine it's lovely on the patio when it's nice out. It's pricey but honestly worth it if you're looking for good seafood in the area.

A truly lovely experience at Taylor Shellfish Farms! The fresh seafood, especially the mixed oyster set, is definitely the main attraction here. The service was polite, though maybe a bit more reserved than what we've enjoyed at their other branches. Just a small tip for other visitors: the building's parking garage for $4-$6 is quite convenient. Also, be aware of the automatic 18.9% service charge. Overall, a great place for seafood

Such a great meal and experience. We started with fresh oysters and then cocktail sauce. It was fantastic. Clean oysters, even my daughter was like "these are really good." We then had the steamed clams and baguette. Very flavorful and bread was crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle perfect for dipping in the clam broth. We finished with the dungeonous crab. The crab was good but the aioli made it and took it up a notch. Highly recommend. My wife had the stuff sole and was very happy. Highly recommend for a more local experience.

Came for the happy hour -- great oysters and great service! Our server was super friendly and helpful. She was knowledgeable and attentive. The oysters tasted super fresh! The geoduck sashimi had a really interesting crunchy but still soft texture. It was sweet, seafood-y, overall a really interesting and tasty meal

A nice spot near the Space Needle. It was decently busy when we came in but were seated immediately. They have a unique Geoduck Chowder which is a then velvety texture and deliciously creamy. Only downside for me was that I couldn't tell what was the Geoduck in it, the pieces are small and minced. We did the oyster sampler platter which featured 2 or 3 from each type of oyster offered. This was an awesome was to try them all and compare. Last we ordered the Geoduck sashimi. Similar to conch sashimi it has a bit of a soft crunch texture. Would recommend all items tried today!

All the good things we've heard about this place are true! I've been meaning to go here for a long time, as I am huge shellfish lover. We finally decided to go for lunch on my birthday, which is New Year's Eve. They were doing a "countdown to the new year" special where there was a special on a different item everyday. We were lucky that on NYE the special was on the Salish Sampler, $20 off the usual price. What a steal. Even without the discount I think the sampler is sooo worth it. It came with a dozen oysters (x2 of 6 different varieties), a whole Dungeness crab, 4 fat shrimp, marinated mussels, geoduck caviar, and two little spoons of caviar. We also opted to get the baguette which was HUGE and so worth it for dipping and pairing with the different sampler items. Oysters were fresh and delicious. It was so fun to try all the different ones which each had their own levels of sweetness, brine, and umami. I loved adding the hot sauce that it came with to my oysters. The crab, omg! Sooooo sweet and delicious. Like crazy sweet. The crab butter - WOW. Star of the platter honestly. I dipped everything in it, the crab itself, the shrimp, the bread, even the marinated mussels. Best bite of the day - I had my final crab leg dipped in crab butter with the caviar on top. Servers were very nice and helpful. Drinks were good. Overall just loved our experience and it felt so special for my birthday. If you like shellfish, oysters, etc, this is a MUST in Seattle.

I had dinner here with my husband. We liked their fresh oysters and we enjoyed the seafood courses they have. The service was fast, the bathroom was clean, and the receptionist and crew were all accommodating. Not in the photo but we also ordered Moqueca and that turned out to be my favorite among all the dishes we ordered. The ambiance is ideal for dinner with friends or co-workers after a long day.

Perfect spot for a rest and some oysters. The Caesar salad was a surprising standout and the bread was fresh and warm. In addition to the oysters of course. The server was very chill but super helpful.

Ive been to shows & events a million times & have wanted to try Taylor Shellfish & popped in after a Storm preseason game. We shared multiple items - dozen oysters, oysters Rockefeller, jalapeño shooter, crab louie salad, bread from marina & i had a paloma. It was super busy and our server kept up even though it seemed that there was limited staffing that day. The vibe was high and it was a great stop off to eat before Sunday Funday.

Very pricey for subpar oysters and seafood. We had a seafood platter with various prawn, geoduck and oysters that they recommended. The oyster was tasteless, like washed out with water. The only good thing was the clam chowder. Everything was quite pricey and do not come if you're really hungry, your bill will be horrendous. The atmosphere is nice and service was good, only the food was quite bland and boring.

Visiting the beautiful city of Seattle, so had to grab some oysters and geoduck. To our luck, we came during happy hour, so that worked out perfectly. Not a true fan of oysters at all, but still wanted to give it a go. Geoduck has barely any flavor and has the texture of soft gristle. So it was all an experience for sure. The pickled veggies were shockingly good, as well as the salmon dip. Our waitress was amazing and super informative. The atmosphere is casual, calm, and clean, although they do have a few flies inside trying to get back outside. We killed 2 of them at the window table during our lunch.

You order at the front before being seated which means food arrives shortly after sitting down. With that noted, I wouldn't return to wait that long. First visit, to try a relatively famous spot, sure. Inside is a bit tight, but conversation can be had. My friends got the lumpia-silog and bistek-silog. Lumpia was tasty, but not particularly outstanding. Bistek was dry. The beef was tough to chew, seasoned alright on the outside but likely overcooked if not old. I opted for the oxtail silog which was delicious but pricey. Oxtail Silog - for $29, this plate definitely gets a double take. After waiting in the hour line, I figured I should commit for a tasty meal. Oxtail comes in a side bowl alongside a bit of hearty broth which the rice absorbs well. Meat is tender, falls off the bone, but pulling around oxtail bones isn't the simplest, so definitely have to bite around crevices. All in all, this plate was delicious but think it comes with a huge tourist tax I've had better value for oxtail plates. Ube Pancake Stack - four sizeable pancakes. Some pictures, including my own, don't do these justice. I can definitely get behind the hype. They're drenched in a rich ube sauce and there's plenty to go around. Honestly the ube flavor is present on the pancakes, but it feels relatively faint because the sauce is extremely sweet and flavorful, minimizing the pancake taste and expanding the gap between flavors. That being said, I think I would enjoy the pancakes with less sauce (or preferably, on the side).

We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. There also was an option to add Beecher's cheese on the eggs, and I'd say it was totally worth it. Most importantly, the Dutch baby was as good as they'd advertised. I underestimated the attractiveness of Happy Hour where many drinks are $1 to $3 off. The place was full and became even fuller (and louder) by the end of our meal. This bar is hopping with many regulars, alcohol-filled, with multiple screens televising sports. When we went in October, the food menu says the food is discounted 25% off during certain late hours. The Food: SRB Burger, $22 - 3 Stars Menu: Painted Hills beef, burrata mozzarella, basil aioli, arugula, pickled onions, hand cut fries Per the menu description, this burger sounded great. Unfortunately for hubby, this burger has the exact pet peeve that he dislikes the most - where the patty is small and tall (he calls it ball shape) compared to the bun. The patty diameter is significantly smaller than the bun. He literally hates that. I had to tilt the camera much lower to see the patty inside. On the plus side, the fries are great. Grilled Shrimp Club, $24 - 3.5 Stars Menu: bacon, lettuce, tomato, house made guacamole, roasted chipotle aioli, hand cut fries This club sandwich is very good except for the one thing that the menu didn't specify - the bun. They use ciabatta bread, which I find doughy, thick, and overwhelms a sandwich. That is my pet peeve for a sandwich. Neither of us is betting well on this night. They are probably more of a 3.5 Stars overall. We find their prices to be high, especially since they additionally charge a credit card fee. When we went, the cost was $21, $23 respectively. The prices are now $22 and $24 per online menu. I would not return for food only. I would return for a bar vibe.
