    Luke's Lobster

Just got off our cruise ship and had time to kill and happened to walk by Luke's. I decided to try their 1/2 Lb lobster roll and it was excellent! I wanted to try their crab roll also but unfortunately they were out of crab the morning we went there. But I would definitely recommend Luke's!

Service was quick. Casual semi fast food dining ambiance. I was really looking forward to it because of all the hype but was sadly dissatisfied. For $30 I would have thought there would be much more flavor. It was pretty bland if you ask me and small too. Im still hungry after finishing the 4oz. I could have got the 6oz but I could not rationalize spending more than $30 for a sandwich. I'm glad I tried it but won't be coming back.

Friendly service even when you can tell they were busy. Line was out the door. Line moved pretty quickly. I was lucky to get a table. Noise is average and ambiance is nice. I went with the Luke's trio rolls which is 2 oz of meat. Supposed to be shrimp, crab and lobster. Wasn't feeling shrimp today asked if I could swap out the shrimp for an up charge they said sure. Asked for an extra butter. Cause the sweet honey butter had me intrigued but didn't want to commit. I asked for everything to be hot as I'm not a fan of cold crab. This was my only complaint. My crab was cold!!! :( So I didn't finish them and they were so busy I didn't want to make a fuss so I can't tell ya about the crab rolls but the lobster ones were fabulous and the spicy honey butter was fun and delicious. Worth giving it a shot.

We each got a roll and split them, so the pictures show half the rolls. The full lobster roll had 6oz of meat in total and it was warmed, which was great. Price is a bit steep but not that surprising. We enjoyed them

I love lobster and I love LOVE this place. My third time here @Seattle location while vacationing. I always get the lobster flight with and extra roll (cause who wants to share right!). Not only is the food delicious and always fresh, but the service is always impeccable.. Very very friendly staff!

Originally I was not sure about the price, but afterwards, I found they give a Very generous servings of protein with the rolls which makes it reasonably price! They do not skimp at all on the seafood. I decided to try the seafood roll flight and glad I did. The roll they come on is also super soft, buttery and DANGEROUS lol. Service from Michelle was great and food came out pretty quickly.

This was good but the portions are for the size of a child. You definitely need two to be full. The service was fast but the price was absolutely ridiculous for the size.

Famous for the Rolls... but Missing a Little Something. I stopped by Luke's Lobster and ordered the seafood flight which consisted of 1 shrimp roll,1 lobster roll, and 1 crab roll. It's what they're known for, so I had to try the trio. The presentation was simple and clean, and the seafood itself tasted fresh, but I couldn't help feeling like something was missing. Each roll leaned a little dry and plain, almost like they needed a touch more butter or a signature sauce to bring it all together. The seasoning was very light, which might work for some, but I personally wanted more flavor. For a place that's famous for its rolls, I expected that "wow" bite and it just didn't quite hit that mark. Service was also just okay. Nothing terrible, but it lacked warmth or attentiveness. For the price point and reputation, I wanted a bit more energy and hospitality. Still, it's worth a visit if you love simple, no-frills seafood and want to sample a little bit of everything. Just don't expect bold flavors or much flair. I'd say it's more understated than indulgent.

This is my second time trying Lukes Lobster, but now in seattle. Tried the lobster trio. It was alright, but I had better lobster rolls. We only went here because my friend wanted lobster roll, I didnt expect much because my experience from last time was underwhelming and second time didnt really leave me wanting to come eat these lobsters again.

While I wasn't expecting to have one of the best lobster rolls of my life in Seattle.... well, now I have. I was in town for the evening craving some seafood, so a few of us decided to try Luke's. This place caught our attention from the outside with how cute it is, and is right in the heart of the tourist area. It's small with not much on the menu, but you should know exactly what you want when coming in. And not only do they have lobster rolls, but also shrimp and crab rolls too, which I hadn't seen before! If you're feeling indecisive, you can get a flight of all three. Each roll also comes with chips and a drink. I went with a classic lobster roll and it was amazing. You can choose to have it chilled or warm. The bread was perfectly buttery and crunchy, too! I absolutely recommend Luke's for getting some good lobster in Seattle.

Super good lobster roll! I went near opening and it wasn't too busy. The staff was super friendly and recommended just the classic lobster roll. A bit expensive but tasted great nonetheless. It had flavorful pieces of lobster and a super soft roll

The chilled lobster roll was okay. I liked the fluffy toasted buttered bun, my favorite part of the meal. I also liked that it didn't taste too heavily of mayo. However, I wasn't the biggest fan of the chilled lobster itself because it kind of lacked flavor. I would come back to try the lobster roll and make it warm for an extra cost just because of how much I liked the bun. I would pass on the clam chowder though. It was lukewarm and I didn't want to finish it. One of my friends agreed and the other enjoyed it, so it just depends on your taste. The server forgot the bag of chips that was supposed to come with the order but it was an easy fix.

Trio of rolls, shrimp, crab and lobster. Really good and nice that you could try one of each.

This was a place I had bookmarked for our visit to Seattle because I heard it was really good. It's right by Pike Market Place. We went right before lunch so it wasn't too busy yet. They have several tables inside and it's nice and bright which I liked. Instead of getting one sandwich each we decided to get the trio. It came with a small crab roll, lobster roll and shrimp roll. It came with a bag of chips and a pickle. The food came out pretty quickly and we ate with our eyes first. We both thought we'd like the lobster roll the best so we saved it for last. We went in order of what we thought we'd like from least to most favorite. We went with the shrimp roll first. They are small shrimps but OMG that was a flavor bomb. We thought if this is this good we are in for a treat. We gobbled that down and moved to the crab roll. Again so much flavor and it was full of crab. Lastly we ate the lobster roll and while it was good it was our least favorite and lacked the flavor the others had. We were so shocked! If we'd known we'd eaten them in reverse order. The restaurant did not disappoint and if we'd had more time there I'd have eaten there again and just gotten a whole shrimp or crab rolls.

Is there parking? And if so, what is the nearest parking to eat here?

There is no designated parking I would suggest that you use an app called SpotHero to reserve parking in advance.

How come you don't have the lobster mac & cheese everyday?

Do you offer gluten free buns or other gluten free options?

YES! We absolutely do Kristin. We can do any of our rolls gluten-free and also our clam chowder and lobster bisque soups are also gluten free. Thanks for the question. Chris GM

Are the rolls made from live lobster or bagged claws & knuckles?

Lorenzo opened Paseo in 1994, where his popular Cuban roast pork sandwiches were regarded as among the best in the country. After years of local expansion, Paseo abruptly filed for bankruptcy in 2014. The brand was subsequently bought out by a local entrepreneur, but the sale did not include Paseo's secret recipes (the reboot attempted to reverse engineer the sandwiches with varying success). So, in 2015, Lorenzo's sons revived Paseo under a new name, Un Bien, armed with their father's original recipes. Nowadays, Un Bien is generally regarded as superior to Paseo, and you can grab their Caribbean sandos at one of the three locations across Seattle. You can't miss the pastel pink-and-teal palette of the original shack on an otherwise drab block of Ballard. As you approach the wooden window, you are greeted by the aroma of sauteed meats and veggies. Communal laquered wood benches are lined up underneath a covered pergola. Fifties hits ring respectfully around the kitchen. My partner and I visited for late weekday lunch, and we ordered immediately. We opted to focus on the signature pork shoulder, so we split the #1 Caribbean Roast and #2 The Press. Across both sandwiches, we were impressed by the tender pork, rich onions, lemon-forward aioli, and marinade-soaked baguette. The standard roast pork sandwich added on pickled jalapenos and crisp romaine, culminating in a dynamic flavor that accentuated the meat. Meanwhile, The Press featured tart banana peppers, smoked ham, and melty Swiss, amping up the sweet and savory flavors alike; we agreed that this extra-messy sandwich just edged out the standard version. Our order took just minutes to be prepared, and the bill just topped $30. Despite the fanfare, I still found myself surprised by just how satisfying Un Bien's sandwiches turned out to be. Across all the food I ate in Seattle, only these pork sandwiches would be worth a return visit, even if I had to venture out of my way.

We ordered promptly, but were told we would only have about 10 minutes to use the seating area before it closed. When we asked for clarification because the restaurant was advertised as being open until 9:00 PM, staff confirmed they were open until then but said the seating area would close earlier anyway. After receiving our food, we were told not to sit down and were asked to leave the seating area altogether. The interaction felt abrupt and discourteous, especially given that we had arrived well before closing and had purchased food with the expectation that we could eat on-site. The food itself was average, but the poor customer service and inconsistent messaging about seating left a much stronger impression than the meal. There are other better places. Skip.

Located in the Seattle Center Armory, along with many other food vendors, Big Mike's Sandwich Company is serving up huge cheesesteaks, chopped cheese, and other East Coast-style subs. For $25, I picked up the cheesesteak and fries combo. Not a terrible price for the portion. Waited about 10-15 minutes for the sandwich to come out. You order on a tablet here, and then they call your name. It's a small storefront, so you really have to stay nearby to hear your name being called in the large space that is the Armory. Not much interaction with staff. Plenty of seating throughout the Armory, though shared with other restaurants. The food came out piping hot. Obviously, they cook everything fresh to order because the inside of the fries was like lava. The fries were thick-cut and seasoned to perfection. The sandwich was good. I thought some pieces of the steak were a bit tough, and the roll seemed a bit over-steamed or possibly stale. A good sandwich and decent portion, nonetheless. I'm still going 5 stars here. I think Big Mike's is a great choice if you want a hearty, meat-filled sandwich and you happen to be in the area. However, I think you could be happy with another dining option in the Armory, too. My kids loved the MOD Pizza nearby. While there isn't anything wildly unique going on at Big Mike's, they are still pushing out great sandwiches at reasonable prices with a no-frills ordering process.

The meatball sub was hearty and comforting, while the eggplant sub had a rich marinara sauce that worked well with the sandwich. We were especially disappointed that the Cubano was sold out, as it was one of the main reasons we stopped by. The only drawback was the price--at around $20 per sandwich, it felt a bit expensive for what you get, especially considering it was just a 6-inch sub, even though the quality was good. We visited during a FIFA World Cup match, so the line was quite long, but it moved steadily and efficiently. No complaints there. The atmosphere is casual and straightforward, with indoor seating only. Its downtown location near the stadiums makes it a convenient spot for a quick meal before or after an event. Dingfelder's pastrami is a dead ringer for that sandwich: huge slices of melt-in-your-mouth pastrami, regular and half sour pickles, and all the other accoutrements you'd expect from a legit Jewish deli. This place doesn't screw around. If you want a great, hearty, flavor-packed sandwich, this is one of the best places to throw your money. But, as others have pointed out, it's no cheap date: expect to pay over $20 for one of those mighty pastrami sandwiches. This isn't Subway so you're not saving money by eating here, but after one bite of their pastrami you'll understand why you're paying so much. Quality isn't cheap. I'd say this place is tied with Tat's Deli for the best sandwiches in Seattle.
