We shared the flight which comes with 3 halves with their lemon butter, spicy and truffle butters. By far the best lobster roll I've had! The lobster was meaty and fresh and the toast it was served on was buttery. A bite that had my tastebuds dancing! So good they we decided to also order their lobster blt. The lobster was still great but I prefer to have my roll warm, not cold. And the lobster is so good, it doesn't need anything from the garden, just the butter. Great service, very accommodating when we asked for extra butter. Clean and good amount of seating. Not to sound like a fatty but we definitely went back two more times during our four day stay. I stopped by here just to get something in my belly while at Pike Place. I had ate here in Boston some time ago. I believe this location was fairly new. I decided to go with the 6 oz Lobster roll with the hot honey butter. I wish I had read the menu better. When they offered the 4, 6 or 8 oz I opted for the 6. The hot honey butter was a $1 charge, which isn't bad at all. Though my final bill was over $50(with tip), which seems like a lot for a sandwich. But I get it, it is lobster, so I'll stop complaining. . Overall the bun was fluffy and tasty and the 6oz was A LOT. I can only imagine the 8 oz. I will more than likely come back as I saw both Lobster roll flights and crab roll flights(I think they were around $40. 3 different versions of each. The lobster lacked seasoning, and the truffle flavor that used to make this roll stand out was barely noticeable. I kept taking bites hoping that signature flavor would show up, but it never did. Instead, it felt flat and forgettable. What was especially disappointing is that Luke's has always been expensive--but it used to feel worth every penny. You paid a premium price because the quality and flavor were exceptional. This visit felt like the price stayed the same while the experience took a major step backward. Each roll leaned a little dry and plain, almost like they needed a touch more butter or a signature sauce to bring it all together. The seasoning was very light, which might work for some, but I personally wanted more flavor. For a place that's famous for its rolls, I expected that "wow" bite and it just didn't quite hit that mark. Service was also just okay. Nothing terrible, but it lacked warmth or attentiveness. This place caught our attention from the outside with how cute it is, and is right in the heart of the tourist area. It's small with not much on the menu, but you should know exactly what you want when coming in. And not only do they have lobster rolls, but also shrimp and crab rolls too, which I hadn't seen before! If you're feeling indecisive, you can get a flight of all three. This was a place I had bookmarked for our visit to Seattle because I heard it was really good. It's right by Pike Market Place. We went right before lunch so it wasn't too busy yet. They have several tables inside and it's nice and bright which I liked. Instead of getting one sandwich each we decided to get the trio. It came with a small crab roll, lobster roll and shrimp roll. It came with a bag of chips and a pickle. The food came out pretty quickly and we ate with our eyes first. We both thought we'd like the lobster roll the best so we saved it for last. We went in order of what we thought we'd like from least to most favorite. We went with the shrimp roll first. They are small shrimps but OMG that was a flavor bomb. We thought if this is this good we are in for a treat. We gobbled that down and moved to the crab roll. Again so much flavor and it was full of crab. Lastly we ate the lobster roll and while it was good it was our least favorite and lacked the flavor the others had. We were so shocked! If we'd known we'd eaten them in reverse order. The food was delicious. We had the warm lobster flight and the lobster bisque in a bread bowl. The sour dough was perfect. The cashier was super friendly. I'd give it five stars except one of the staff was pretty rude to us when we were getting our drinks out of the fridge. A simple "excuse me" would have been enough, but she used a rude tone to tell me to keep the walkway clear. The fridge with the drinks opens directly in the walkway so there is no way to get a drink without blocking it for a minute. Regardless we would definitely come back. Underwhelming Lobster Bisque for the Price! Overpriced for what it is. The Lobster Bisque (8oz for $11) came out lukewarm and watered down, nowhere near the rich, creamy texture you'd expect from a proper bisque. We are avid seafood nuts and lobster tops our list at, so Luke's is a natural choice. We choose the lobster flight after watching the Blue Angels. Since we were tired from our day we choose delivery. Almost as soon as our order was placed, the order was put together it was on its way. When it arrived, we dug in and the clam chowder I had and the slaw the hubby had were perfect matches. The lemon and hot honey butters are subtle and add a wonderful accompaniment to sweet and perfectly prepared Maine lobster. The truffle butter is stronger, but is not overpowering. The chowder was awesome and comforting and slaw was fresh and tasty! I moved to Seattle area over 10 years ago from NY. Top 3 things I miss food wise, bagels, pizza and LOBSTER! I've settled on some bagel and pizza places with lower expectations, but cold water Maine lobster is hard to come by and ridiculously expensive when you do find it. Doesn't help that I also lived in Portland, ME and could get softshell lobster for $4/lb!
