Oysters

Good: seated quickly despite it looking kind of busy. Fried fish was a bit oily but good overall. The batter was a bit thick. Oysters were pretty good Meh: we got a dozen oysters and they did not separate the oyster from the shells, so we had to dig them out a bit. Not sure if that's expected or not, but most other places I've been in general separate the oysters completely. To be fair, they were busy. One of our orders was also forgotten but we just had them take it off the bill, as we were full.

I was honestly really surprised by Mr. Fish. The reviews aren't great and it's right by Pike Place Market, so I didn't expect much, but it ended up being a great experience. Service was really good, and the outdoor patio was lovely, especially on a sunny day. It's also dog friendly, which was a nice bonus. I got the Mr. Fish combo with fish and chips, calamari, and fried shrimp, and everything was delicious. The spicy, tangy tartar sauce with the calamari was especially good. Good food, good company, great setting. Honestly, I'd give it a 10 out of 10. I don't really get the negative reviews.

The service here was good. They let me sample the smoked clam chowder before ordering. The chowder was good. I also had the fish which was tasty as well. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. I would come back.

This was our first time at Mr. Fish, but we'll definitely be back! The service was quick and friendly. We ordered the classic fish and chips, clam chowder, a dozen oysters and a bowl of clams. The fish was perfectly fried, and the broth with the clams was delicious! The oysters came with a Tabasco mignonette, and my daughter gobbled her clam chowder.

The food was delicious! They even let us sample the clam chowder beforehand upon request, which made it easier to decide what to order--such a nice touch. The only reason for four stars instead of five was the slower service, likely due to them being short-staffed on a hot day. We did have to ask for a refill on the water pitcher, but overall still a great experience.

Not usually a seafood person but these fish n chips won me over! Our server also suggested the oysters which I've never had before and I'm glad I did! He walked us through how to eat them and where they were sourced which made the whole experience less intimidating. Great food and can't beat this location!

Nice spot across the street from the water near Fisherman's wharf. Simple fishing themed decor. We got seated pretty fast. It wasn't too crowded when we arrived but it got busier as we dined. Clam chowder was really good and the bread bowl was fresh. Loved the gold fish cracker toppings! Waitress was nice but nothing extraordinary.

Popped in for the happy hour oysters and some apps. The oysters were super tasty and fresh, and I believe were $2 each. We also had the chowder fries which I thought was kinda quirky and worked surprisingly well. Overall good service and good food

This is a seafood restaurant near Pike's Market. The menu was quite limited. Service was very nice and friendly. * The Mr. Fish Combo 3/5 - Fries were dense and had a strong flavor. Maybe it was the type of potato used. The fish and shrimps were alright. The calamari was better. * Smoked Seafood Chowder 3/5 - Tasted okay. The tomato flavor was pretty overwhelming. Wish they had a standard New England clam chowder.

We came two days in a row because the food was so delicious. The first day we got a few oysters and the Mr. Fish combo, the second day we ordered even more oysters with a seafood chowder. For the drinks, I ordered a Pear Pressure. It had mezcal which was pretty strong but the flavors were nice. The standout was the seafood chowder as it was freezing outside. The oysters were also a knockout, especially during happy hour.

We headed to Seattle to check out the newly renovated waterfront on a beautiful Saturday with our dogs & wanted to sit outside for a late lunch. Mr Fish was the perfect choice- nice outdoor patio in the sun. We had an excellent service from Izzy & the fish & chips were the best! The fish was crispy on the outside & juicy in the middle & the fries were hand cut & so tasty. We did get the chowder & rockfish tacos that were really delicious as well. A must next time we're at Pike Place or the waterfront!

I was in town just in time for Seattle Restaurant Week in the Fall so I made sure to make a reservation to be able to try their $20 special of a super delicious green tomato + shrimp patty sandwich, chips, and an IPA beer. My reservation was for the weekend and I am glad I made one as this spot will fill up fast due to the Pike Place business of it (rightfully so!). I was seated at the bar and had a good view of all the food, cocktails, and beers that were made for the rest of the patrons. The fish and chips looked great but I had it made with my shrimp patty sandwich and special. I was so delighted by the coleslaw and the creativity of offering a special. I was super grateful of the bartender who served me and gave me some really awesome recommendations of other spots to go visit for coffee, dive bars, and an afternoon treat. This location is right off the hustle and bustle of Pike Place Market and well worth a visit for a quick lunch and/or a beer to wet your whistle.

After not being able to find what to pick to eat, I stumbled upon Mr. Fish and I will say that these are probably in my top five best fish and chips that I've had. From the long cut fries and a perfect crispy piece of fish to the wonderful tasting tartar sauce, I gave this place a 10 out of 10 accompanied by a Corona. The restaurant offers indoor seating and outdoor seating. I chose to sit outside for the view on pikes. My waiter was super friendly and provided really good service.

The chile verde pork is so good, my wife, who primarily orders vegetarian, goes for all their variations, quesadillas being her favorite. This weekend is Valentine's Day, and while I am not with my beloved, George and Erika shared a sample of their new menu items, chilaquiles (heart shaped for the holiday) - both chili verde and chipotle. The other item was a stack of tres leches pancakes, with fruit. While all were delicious, I liked the chipotle chilaquiles the best. Good enough to make me consider mixing up my wet burrito with salsa macha in the future. So, we just came back from Playa del Carmen Mexico, where we hoped to have some over the top Mexican food. While breakfast was great it wasn't enough to outshine Fire Tacos. A waiter at one restaurant summed it up well. Everyone in Mexico makes good food, but the best of the best succeed in the US. We got the same host and honestly he made our night. So funny and sweet. We also get the churro boat? It comes with caramel, chocolate, and whip cream on the side and it's the only place I have known to sell stuffed churros. STUFFED with chocolate, strawberry jam and caramel. It's the perfect dessert after some tacos to top everything off. I will come back here with the girls again!

They accidentally messed up part of our taco order, but the staff was incredibly kind about it. The pollo burrito was flavorful and satisfying, the carne asada tacos were tender and packed with flavor, and the quesadilla had the perfect meat-to-cheese ratio. Yum!! There was no clear line for online orders or ordering in person and the environment was chaotic and unorganized. I told the gentleman my name for the order and he said we're still working on it while walking away from me. I was told to step aside and waited over 30 minutes as I watched other folks order and grab their food in a timely manner. After some time, my food that was sitting on a shelf was given to me. Upon coming home and opening my food, I found that it was lukewarm and nearly cold. In addition to that, my order was wrong. Their phone number does not work so I had to come back in person to communicate their errors. They remade my food and gave me free chips and guacamole, but that doesn't change the fact that I wasted over 60 minutes of waiting and driving back and forth for a simple order of tacos. An incredibly frustrating experience for food that I actually like and enjoy eating.

However, it still tasted like it had a really nice flavor, and had a soft interior. It being actually spicy would've moved this dish up a lot, though each taco was primarily made out of this chicken - and there was so much of it it was practically insane - but I loved this amount shoutout to the onions as well - they were great I asked for the habanero sauce - which i thought was ok - wasn't spicy at all and didn't add much flavor. will go with another sauce next time tried mixing in some taco bell fire sauce which was interesting i love that these came wrapped in aluminium foil to preserve heat. a great touch overall, as far as taste, these were pretty good, but when you consider the amount of meat you're getting, along with overall portion size - it's simply a fantastic meal.

I knew going in that I had to try their carnitas, but it was the other dishes that impressed me the most. The quesabirria was top notch. If you haven't had one before, it's as if a quesadilla and a taco had a beautiful baby - and the tortilla is dipped in the sauce that the meat is cooked in. The cheese is plentiful and delicious, it's a blanket that I've to take a nap in. I was a bit thrown off by the chunks of birria, most places shred it up. But I would say that it was much more juicy than the shredded version, I was blown away. This comes with some awesome roasted jalapeños and onions. The carnitas taco was excellent. For a street taco, they load it up with meat. It's a very traditional taco, so just carnitas, onions, and cilantro on a tortilla. But if you have the opportunity to eat here you should, they have an extensive taco bar with everything you need. The star of the show for me was the tostada de camarón. You just don't get them like this elsewhere in Seattle. Shrimp, mango, jalapeño, and avocado are all diced up to provide even distribution on a crunchy tostada. It's an exquisite bite every time. And there's a sweet sauce on it that makes the whole dish blend together so well. Carnitas Michoacán is a MUST visit if you're in the area.
